Optometry Reviews in Chicago

They have been around for a long time, and they give you a very good eye exam. There are doctors and students at this facility. I have been going there since I was a child. They are recognized in this area as the experts in eye care. We will continue to go to them for our eye care in the future.

is a family owned business. Doctor
, his wife
, and daughter
are very warm, personable, and caring people. The appointment was on a Saturday in late January after a snowfall. Since there had been melting and freezing, the sidewalks and streets in the area were slippery in spots. I observed
escorting an elderly patient back to her car to ensure she made it safely.

gave my brother a very thorough exam and then
helped him choose new frames. Meanwhile, Dr.
performed maintenance and repairs on the existing pair (which were several years old) so they would hold up until the new glasses came in. There was no rush even though my brother was the last patient that Saturday.

When the glasses arrived, the fitting was performed and the price for the exam and glasses was very reasonable (compared to similar services in my town 70 miles SW of Chicago). My brother is very satisfied with the glasses and we both felt the overall experience was excellent.

Optometry reviews in Chicago

The examination was quite painless and took very little time. Doctor Bush explained the medication, the dosage and length of use. I returned a few days later for a recheck.

I will continue my visits to Doctor Bush as long as possible, I think he is an exceptional person and I wouldn't consider anyone else.

I scheduled a regular check up with
Chicago Optometrists Provider Name Locked
. I called, and the receptionist had trouble understanding me (I'm from Michigan, my accent isn't that bad). I had to give her a word for every letter in my name ("c" as in "cat", not "z"), and repeat every number twice. It was frustrating for both of us, but she was rude about it. This was made twice as difficult because she wanted not only my vision insurance information, but my general medical insurance information, which I've never had to provide to an optometrist before. Finally though, we managed to schedule an appointment. Only to receive a near-unintellgible voicemail the day before my appointment saying something about verifying insurance information. That much hassle before I even get in the door?? I easily made an appointment with another provider and cancelled with

. That's just too much work for an eye appointment!

I trust
Chicago Optometrists Provider Name Locked
through and through knowing he is giving me a quality exam and ensuring that my eye wear is up to date and fits my sense of style and personality. I always get compliments and he introduces me to products that I would not have chose myself - so I appreciate his processional knowledge and sense of style/what is current. At the same time, he ensures you do not look stupid for the sake of style. Not everyone can wear all things. Just because they make it in your size, does not mean you should buy it!

Everything went great. He will really take the time to explain things to you. I would recommend this doctor to anyone. He is very knowledgeable and caring. He will go to great lengths to make sure you are satisfied.

Very well. It was very busy when we got there and we were delayed in getting in to see the doctor, however, he spent a lot of time with each of us, explaining each aspect of the exam, what he was seeing and providing various treatment options. Very personable and knowledgeable.

I have been going to Dr.
Chicago Optometrists Provider Name Locked
for my eye exams for many years, and I've referred other people to him. His knowledgeable and professional staff are ready to assist in any way they can, anywhere from answering questions to helping you select the right eyeglass frames and finally preparing the bill. I like the fact that he has the high-tech equipment available on the premises. It saves you from having to go elsewhere for the various tests that he wants conducted. Dr.

asks questions regarding your health and your current vision and then does a thorough eye exam. I always feel better after leaving his office.

I was shopping for glasses, and could not find ones that did not seem boring and ordinary to me. An on line
Chicago Optometrists Provider Name Locked
turned up a brand that looked intriguing (

) and
Chicago Optometrists Provider Name Locked
is one of the few places in Chicago that carries them. My daughter and I went there and tried on almost every pair of frames in the store, and were shown more on a computer. I ended up ordering a special-order color of a frame they had in stock. They were horribly expensive, but I got what I wanted-- very different, handmade frames. Not, as it turned out,
Chicago Optometrists Provider Name Locked
brand, but they had many many very cool and different frames. Also, they immediately emailed me a detailed breakdown of the costs of frames and lenses I was considering, with the costs of coatings and extras. They were friendly and helpful, and encouraged me to take all the time I needed to make my choice.

The doctor was friendly and thorough--no problem there. The eyeglasses were another matter. Two weeks after I received the glasses, a lens fell out of the frame. I took them back for repair, mentioning that I had tighten the screw but the lens kept falling out. One week later I had the glasses back, but the next day the lens fell out again. I went back for repair twice after that and the problem remains to this day. They would not consider replacing the frames unless I paid for new lenses to fit the new frames. (Of course I wouldn't want the same brand of frames again!) On top of that, the receptionist billed the insurance company incorrectly and I had to pay out of pocket and submit a fair amount paperwork to get reimbursed as a result. She never even apologized and had the manner of someone who was being put out.
