He suggested two paths I could take considering the system was old and no longer made. I choose to replace it all with current gen units and the work was scheduled for the following Monday. Work to start at 8:30 AM. The

After being quite pleased when I used them for a furnace repair years ago, I joined their Discount Club, which basically means that you pay a flat fee (of I think $150) a year, and they come to you twice a year -- once for a furnace clean-up and inspection, and once for an AC clean-up and inspection. Also, when you're in the Discount Club, you get priority in emergency situations, which would come in handy if your furnace blew out in 10 degree weather. It's a pretty sweet deal, this Discount Club, and it forces me to keep up with the maintenance of my furnace and AC unit, which is good.

They know my furnace is a piece of junk, and yet they do their best to repair all its little leaks and squeaks so that we can prolong its sad little life.
