Run tests and were give the results. Although we receioved the written report, it took longer than we expected to receive the verbal report from the Dr. The analysis results were not sent on a timely manner.

I am satisfied with their service. Not everyone is eligible for their service as only military personnel being in combat can avail their service. I would rate them highly across the board. I would not know anything about their billing and administration as it is free for me. I would use them again in the future.

Genetic Medicine reviews in Chicago

She does not seem to look into the problem just throw meds at it, doesn't listen to the patient, doesn't keep acccurate patient records, she didn't have the meds she tried me on. I've had alot of surgeries, brocken bones, etc and my ddoctors faxed her threports of my visits and surgeries but she rarely had the info. I had a hard time working around my hours cause she is closed for vacation alot and only open weird hours. I worked 9-5:30 M-F, don't drive, have a very hard time getting off, but she only sees patients 8:30 to 4:30 certain days. Now I work 7:30-4 M-F sand hhave the same prob,

Overall it is great, nice atmosphere, friendly people. I see Dr.
Chicago Genetic Disease Doctors Provider Name Locked
for all general medical matters and she orders whatever tests and takes care of any medical matters I have had in a friendly, professional manner. I also see Dr.
Chicago Genetic Disease Doctors Provider Name Locked
for mental health, and she has prescribed just the right medicine for me, so all in all, it is a positive experience. The only negative I would mention is that
their voicemail system keeps you on hold a very loooonnnnngggg time.

I received an appointment on the day I chose as well as the time. I have started a new job and will not be insured until January, but the nice thing is that this doctor does not charge an exorbitant fee for a first time visit, and doesn't bother with insurance. Of course, I am always skeptical of new doctors, dentists, hair stylists, etc. The office is un-busy (nice), and pleasantly comfortable. The person who checked me in is very personable and welcoming. She seemed happy and not disturbed about being at work....some people do hate their jobs and the customers/patients. This instinctively told me that likely I would like Dr.

. Meeting Dr.
Chicago Genetic Disease Doctors Provider Name Locked
was one of the most educational experiences I have had since leaving my beloved doctors at Northwestern University in Chicago. I am an LPN looking to become an RN....and let me tell you, I would love to have this lady instruct me on all that is BIO. She has a most wonderful way of making science not only fun but understandable (hmmm, wonder if she tutors on the side). Of course, my mini lesson was related to my healthcare issues. She is funny and probably even loveable....I can only guess at the loveable. Anyone who talks lovingly about their spouse, children, grandchildren.....likely loveable. And yes, it is true....she does not rush you in and out like so many doctors do. I have paid hundreds of dollars more for a first visit to some doctors and have gotten less than 100 words and here I pay 55 and left with a mini bio education. Go figure that!!! And from just my first visit....she is smart. I would tell anyone who wants a human being for a doctor to see this one. But the best thing about the whole experience....even a poor person can have a GOOD doctor. Even when my insurance kicks in.....I will continue to see Dr.

. Yes, I have a complex medical history, but for now I am stable and things are quite manageable as far as health goes. I am even looking forward to attempting loosing a drug or two...if it is possible, because she cares enough to try something different if you want.....and she is not pushy with her ideas, but she freely gives you ideas....something to think about. I recommended her to my parents and all I can say on that is....they were not disappointed.

I am new to
Chicago Genetic Disease Doctors Provider Name Locked
Paso and booked an appointment with Dr.
Chicago Genetic Disease Doctors Provider Name Locked
based on Angie's list and location. She was great. Very thorough, asked a lot of questions , made a number of referrals and really listened. She made a point to break information down so as to not be overwhelming and is dealing with the most urgent concerns first. I will continue to see her. Her office staff were great and very professional. Her office is clean and inviting. I heard someone else complaining about the wait but I did not experience this. Possibly they were waiting because she took her time with me.

I switched to
Chicago Genetic Disease Doctors Provider Name Locked
just over a year ago. My previous health care provider would over book patients, seldom remember you or your health problems, give you meds with out follow up or care.
Chicago Genetic Disease Doctors Provider Name Locked
Med is NOTHING like that. From the first day I went there, I was treated well, they asked a lot of questions, gathered up my medical history, discussed it with me, assigned me a doctor who I met that day & went from there.
They work as a team at
Chicago Genetic Disease Doctors Provider Name Locked
Med. Each team has a few doctors, nurses, etc, that know your conditions & can cover for each other or consult with their field of expertise. I have several health problems & it's nice to know my doctors team can handle all of them.
Just a month ago, I went in for a routine Diabetes check up with my primary doctor. As normal, he asked if anything was bugging me, told him about some problems I was having with breathing & chest pressure. He decided to do an ekg right then & there. 15 minutes later he personally walked me over to the
Chicago Genetic Disease Doctors Provider Name Locked
Chest Pain ER center & checked me in. Seems I had a few very large pulmonary embolisms. Stayed in hospital for a week, seen him everyday, plus members of his team everyday.

Since then, I have a nurse come to my house 1 day a week. takes my blood, calls my doctor with results, he personally calls me back 80% of the time with instructions or his nurse does 20% of the time.

Long story short, These people not only care, they work together with you to find whats best for you. & it's not the insurance.. I have state medicare (which seriously sucks) & they work around it to find me the best options & still treat me like I'm a valued person.

Only complaint I would have is their scheduling department, & they are working on that. If i could grade them higher than an A, they would deserve it.

I respect him a lot. It is a big office with lots of people and lots of support. It is a terrific place. They are always available and they take emergencies. He actually listens well and he is very bright. He provides excellent service.
