I have been working out at
for about 2 weeks now, and so far I like it a lot. It's on the small side for gyms, but they use the space well. They have a good selection of equipment including 4-5 treadmills, 5-6 elliptical machines, a few stationary bikes, a number of weight machines, and 2 free weights areas. There is also a sauna, but I haven't tried that yet.

is not a discount gym (standard price is $70/month if you agree to automatic payments), but it's also much friendlier than a discount gym. There aren't 30 treadmills in a row or a bunch of body builders grunting on the weights, so it doesn't feel uncomfortable for people who aren't exercise-a-holics. The staff starts to recognize you after a few visits, and they are all really friendly and helpful - even at 6:30am. They do also offer different payment options if you don't want the pressure of a monthly membership.

I've never belonged to a gym with classes before, so I have really been digging that. They have a good variety of offerings at different times: spin, yoga, step aerobics, kickboxing,
... It's a nice way to change up your workout routine. The teachers I've tried have been really supportive, but they also challenge and push you to get the most out of it. Their class space isn't huge though, so you do need to call ahead to reserve a spot if you want to be 100% sure you can get in. I would say the only downside is that you have to sign up day-of, so you can't work out on Tuesday and sign up for a Thursday class before you leave. It's a mild inconvenience.

Overall, I'm really happy with
and I'm considering remaining a member even when the weather warms up.

They are great for families! They are currently updating all of their amenities, due to new management, which I think is great. I think their staff is always friendly and helpful, and I would recommend this gym to others.

It's a nice gym and its fairly easy if you go in an off time to get on to the equipments. The facility is pretty nice. I have my little girl with me and she doesn't want to be left in the child care area so it's a little hard for me to work it. I like the price and it's kind of like a no nonsense gym. There are lot of gyms in the area that people go not to work out but to be seen where as

's isn't like that, people are there just to work out. It's good value for money.

It was very interesting. The location is cool. You are at the top of a building and have a bit of a view of the city when you are in class. There was a big group and about half the people there said they had never had a

class before. They held the class in a hot room, despite the fact it said on the card that this particular class was held in a regular-temperature location. I enjoyed the class and it felt good to do the positions. I was sweating like crazy because of the heat. My one complaint was that at one point when I had my front leg extended the instructor told me to spread my legs farther. When I couldn't spread them farther, he stood on my left foot and told me to try again. At the end of the class he told me that he doesn't usually teach the beginners class and took over because someone else didn't come in. Regardless of this, I would still return. The place is close to where I live, their prices are reasonable, and my free test class made me feel really good.

Although I am pregnant and can only use the pool, there is no discount for that. The pool is nice (though cold!), but I wish they had towel service. Strictly bring your own. Also, no prenatal yoga or exercise classes. You can use the (nicer)

Equinox is a great fit for me. Everything is clean and well maintained, they make an effort to have an inter sting class schedule. All the staff is friendly and professional. No request goes unconsidered. All this with the added advantage of a small, quiet environment.

Our problems began when my car was broken into while at the gym. It was painfully obvious that the employees had no real protocol in these situations, which I assume was due to their high turn over. I decided to speak to management the next day to discuss my concerns with security and lack of protocol. I asked that their District Manager contact me right away so I could get more information regarding how they deal with these problems and how property management is involved. It has now been 4 weeks, and I have yet to hear from the District Manager. In the meantime, I pulled the crime reports for that address since January 07 and it was very disturbing. There have been over 47 reported car break-ins/stolen cars, 19 thefts/property lost/criminal misc., and 5 assaults (and other

I use them weekly. I have found the employees there to be friendly, and the trained personnel is knowledgeable, informative and know what they are doing. I really like going there, although I don't use the machines as much as I do weight lifting or work on my own.
