Ent Treatment Reviews in Chicago

The doctor is fine. The staff is quick. They answer my questions. I think the main doctor is very capable. His name is Dr.
. They are very short with patients. They
’t spend a lot of time talking. They are in a rush. I see one doctor and then they sign me with another doctor. There are some small things on which they could do better.

I just felt that he was very confident which was the best reason for me to have seen him twice. I
’t recall having a hard time getting an appointment. He’s at Northwestern and so his office is not very huge. A doctor is never punctual. I
’t think I had any problems with him regarding the billing and administration. I will use him again in the future.

Ent Treatment reviews in Chicago

He is not only a practitioner but also a surgeon. He takes his time so you might have to wait for half an hour or sometimes forty five minutes because he is referred as the best. You can call his office and they'll tell you if he is an hour behind so you don't have to wait. A funny thing about his office is you can put some funny notes. He has about three hundred clocks in his office. I would use him again without any doubt. You can call ahead and they'll tell you that he's behind which I guess is a good thing because you don't have to wait.

After a year of sprays and different techniques I finally had the deviated septum and sinus surgery. He was extremely thorough made me feel extremely comfortable the day of the surgery. I can't believe the difference in how I feel I can actually breathe. Dr.

I have been suffering from constant sinus infections and subsequent chest infections for about 3 years. Earlier in 2010, my GP determined that that the two were connected and that I should see Dr.
Chicago Otolaryngologists Provider Name Locked
. My only knock was that my initial appointment took FOREVER; 6 weeks from my initial call. But look, good doctors are busy. It's the nature of things. As I mention below, once under his care, he's quite accessible. What I liked about Dr.
Chicago Otolaryngologists Provider Name Locked
is he did not immediately jump to surgery as the only option. He put me on a several medications to try to reduce the swelling and infection to see if it could be controlled without surgery. Unfortunately, this didn't work. At my next office visit, he performed a CAT scan and determined that my nasal passages ways were totally obstructed with polyps. I was scheduled for surgery less than 3 weeks later. He did a great job explaining what he was going to do and how it would affect the situation hopefully. The surgery went very well which is ultimately the most important thing when you are trusting someone to jam a drill up your nose. All the polyps were removed and my sinus passageways were widened. Unfortunately for me, it turns out I am a slightly more difficult case... my sinusitis returned about 4 weeks into my recovery. Dr

has been very accessible and has taken the complications very seriously. While I had hoped that the surgery would fix everything, this is not the way things go for some cases like mine--however, I have confidence that Dr
Chicago Otolaryngologists Provider Name Locked
doesn't consider his job done just because the surgery did what it was suppose to do from an anatomical correction standpoint. He is now working with my GP and a Allergist to try to control the recurring infections and I honestly think we'll get to a point where we can control or eliminate the infections. I should mention that even though I experienced another infection, it was far easier to deal with post-surgery... I could blow my nose and could get enough air flow to at least be able to sleep unlike before surgery. Also, as a result of surgery and aggressively attacking the infection with steroids and anti-biotic, it lated 2 weeks instead of six. I should mentioned too that Dr.
Chicago Otolaryngologists Provider Name Locked
had students with him during several of my visits and I liked the way he educated the med-students at the same time he was treating me. All in all, Dr
Chicago Otolaryngologists Provider Name Locked
is confident and skilled but the same time capable of recognizing when the job isn't quite finished. He will continue to be my ENT and I would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

I went there to try to get something done for sinus headaches that were troublesome for many years. I had an allergy test done and they proceeded to tell me that I needed to get allergy shots when, on a scale of 1-5 with 5 being the most allergic, the highest thing I was allergic to was a 2 and it was milk. So, why was I getting allergy shots??? And then, they recommended sinus surgery. The doctor said I had a deviated septum, and yes, it was probably off a little bit but not that much - at least not noticeably anyway. So, he said he fixed that and a couple other things. Well, totally not worth the pain as it didn't help me with the sinus headaches at all. I think this practice is all about surgery. My husband went to the other doctor there recently and also got a reco for surgery after only a super short visit. I would definitely suggest another opinion if they tell you you need surgery.

I have a deviated septum and he performed surgery to correct that. He put something in my throat to help stop my snoring. He is very knowledgeable. He is one of the leading doctors in his profession around here. I have read about him and even seen him on TV. He has a lot of background experience and he has done this for years. He is very competent. I like everything about him personally. I still go back to him whenever I have a problem. Sometimes you have to wait a long time to see him though.

I somehow managed to get to the doctor's office when the flu. They were able to get me in for a same-day appointment, even though it was a Friday (half day). I barely waited to see the doctor--in fact, I had to finish filling out my new patient paperwork AFTER the appointment! Dr.
Chicago Otolaryngologists Provider Name Locked
was very prompt (I barely waited at all), and he first explained why another person was there (since it is a teaching hospital). Both doctors asked me questions, to get the full symptoms, and then agreed with my hunch that it was the flu. They weren't sure if Tamiflu would do me any good (it must be taken within a day or so of first coming down with symptoms), but I was willing to try anything, so they gave me the prescription. I started improving the next day!
