Countertop Installation Reviews in Chicago

We felt comfortable enough after a few meeting, that we contracted for the work to be done while we were out of town. Igor the project manager/worker did a great job with a lot of attention to details. Whenever there was a question (a pipe that no one knew was there)
contacted us with pictures and suggested solutions. In that we are in a condo, I was concerned about the outside brickwork involved with the window closure. Everyone agrees that you would never know there was ever a window there. When we got home in June, Igor was making last minute adjustments ready to do any final tweaking that we wanted. All in all we are very pleased, with our new kitchen. We may have paid slightly more for
, but we are happy to say we got the quality and peace of mind that they promised us during the sales cycle.

came by and looked at the seepage problem in my laundry room. I had really been worried about the seepage, but he immediately put me at ease about the scope of the problem. He gauged the situation and suggested a solution. He had the materials with him and went to work cleaning off the brick and applying the epoxy solution. As fate would have it, we were scheduled for a heavy rain that night and his solution did the job. He returned the next day to finish the rest of that wall. He was neat, very knowledgeable and personable. I will probably be using him for an insulation problem this fall.
He was a little late but had called to say he would be delayed. He arrived when he stated and started the job after we discussed his product and experience.

Countertop Installation reviews in Chicago

I visited them a couple of times trying to find a remnant for my 60" vanity. It was winter so the yard was covered in snow and it was hard to go through the pieces. Since I had time for my project, I decided to wait until the snow was gone. They were very accommodating and finally I was able to find a remnant piece of white quartz from their yard. We scheduled an appointment for them to do field measurements and they showed up on time and were very professional. They fabricated the pieces in less than a week and we scheduled the installation. Again, they were on time and very polite. The installation went very smooth. Next day, I paid closer attention to the details and didn't like the fact that they cut one corner in the vertical axis when they could've cut the bottom in the horizontal axis to avoid the other wall. It would have been a cleaner and nicer look. I wish they would've consulted or asked for my opinion before cutting.

My SO and I moved into our condo mid November, we knew that the bathroom was going to be the first thing to be redone, so we began the process of finding the right contractor to do the job, for the right price.
On a tip from a friend we called

He came out the next day (Sunday!)....More /> We wanted to make sure that we were still getting good quality materials and that the job wasn't low balled and we would end up paying way more. (I've heard plenty of horror stories)

gave us his guaranty, and he was right on the money.
The remodel was done 2 days early!!
It's been 5 months, and we are still in love with our new bathroom.
Will definitely use them in the future.

I initially ordered quartz countertops from a different vendor and when the company arrived to install the countertops, they brought the countertops in 6 pieces, which was not what we ordered. The vendor stated that it was not possible to provide the countertops in 3 pieces because we have an apron sink. I refused to accept them, as we had ordered 3 pieces and the company never informed me that they could not provide the countertops in 3 pieces and I had also seen numerous countertops in marble, quartz and granite for apron sinks that were not cut into pieces. I then called and visited

and after reviewing the dimensions,

assured me that they could install the countertops in 3 pieces as we wanted. We visited their shop and ordered the Caeserstone ‘Frosty

came out promptly to measure and create the templates, and shortly thereafter the countertops were delivered and installed in 3 pieces as

had promised. So we have only one seam in the entire kitchen, which was necessary given the overall dimensions. This is what we wanted and

delivered as promised. The countertops are beautiful and they were installed perfectly. We’re very happy with our countertops.

don't EVER USE THESE PEOPLE. YOU WILL BE SORRY. it started off well. their pricing was great and the women who met us and helped us with the contract was great. but then it all went south. the gentleman who came and did the measurements came with measuring tape, and cardboard to cut out. no laser accuracy here. I figured, ok, old school. that doesn't have to be a bad thing. well it was. my counters were installed and it turns out that they much narrower at one end. there is basically no overhang over a whole section of cabinetry. the guy who came to measure, came back and acknoledged that he measured incorrectly. one suggestion he made was to shave down the remaining part of the counter so it would all be that narrow. this would be the easiest solution b/c they wouldn't have to remove anything and could do the work right in my kitchen. I told them that then all of the counter would be too shallow and things would spill directly into my drawers. I said they needed to do the fix the right way, which was to re-cut. I told them, I'd be willing to just recut up to the seam, so it would be a pretty

straight slab cut. We all agreed. I also told them, I would like to take some time to live with it and see how much it really bothered me, because at this point I'd been without a kitchen for 3 months and really didn't want to have to be without use for one minute longer. they agreed I had up to one year to make the changes OR they would discount me because the work was not done correctly. well, they billed me a couple months later for the remaining payment, IN FULL.
When I called to say I wanted them to do the agreed upon fix, they told me that they only agreed to shave down the whole thing and not to replace. I told them that was not what we agreed to. and that I didn't want them to do anything to it any more. Just give me the markdown and I would pay the remaining. I spoke to the owner who accused me of trying to get down the price already and he wasn't going to give me any money off. he didn't care if the work wasn't done right. he said I wasn't being reasonable, that they had a

fix and I owed him the money, end of discussion. next thing I know, I have a mechanics

I had 2 bathrooms that needed countertops and I was looking for remnants of countertop material. I found a very unique piece of material that worked perfectly with one of the bathrooms. I decided to purchase this piece. We arrange the time to do the field measurements.
Chicago Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
showed up on time. They completed the fabrication in about 2days as they promised. Since it was a small piece, I picked it up from the shop. I didn't find anything that I liked for the 2nd bathroom. It's hard to find something from the remnants that you really like and that would fit your specific dimensions and criteria. But
Chicago Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was very helpful, he showed me what he had and what he thought would look good with my design. He offered very good advice. Overall, I'm satisfied with my experience and I would use them again.

Chicago Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
, the owner, layout man and estimator, was very pleasant, relaxed and professional. Went to their office to look at samples of various quartz products and sink options. Excellent selection. Estimate was

and clear. Prices were very competitive. Wait time for materials and cutting was clear from the beginning and accurate. Installation was quick with four guys doing the work. They cleaned up well and product looked great though there were a couple places they made a bit of a mess with my drywall and a

Straightforward job that I had been meaning to do myself. Used a Groupon instead to have the work done so not sure if price paid was high or low. Work was completed as scheduled so no complaints.

When we arrived, we were greeted immediately by a sales rep. She sat down with us and ask specifically what we were looking for. We had our measurements with us so she gave us an estimate right up front & gave us the approximate square footage we were going to buy. She then took us to the back where all of the slabs of granite were to decide what type we wanted, along with a brochure of prices. There had to be at least 6 rows of different granite! What a decision to make! What was nice was she didn't hound us & gave us all the time we needed to peruse. After making the selection, we then got to pick the actual slab we wanted. I think we had 5 different slabs we got to look at. We then made an appointment to have someone come out & do the final measurements. This gentleman was on time & called in the morning to verify he was coming. I had to go back in & select another small piece because of the length of my counter. When I was there, our sales rep suggested that we tape out on our slab approximately where we wanted the pieces cut. This was great because there were so much variety in my slab with different details. I had wanted a certain "fossil" spot on my peninsula and it was so nice to actually put that exactly where I wanted it. My delivery date was within a week & during a snow storm. The installers were on time and very professional. The only problem was a bit of a language

, but one of the men spoke English good enough to communicate with me. The installation was quick & perfect. They asked me where to drill the holes for the faucet & soap dispenser & helped with positioning. I have recommended them to at least 6 other people & they have been very satisfied too.
