"I looked him up on the list Sunday evening, brought the CPU with me to a job that I was working on near his office and called him on the way to the job. He was able to receive my CPU right away. He had me bring him an external hard drive (faster and cheaper for me to go get it for him) for him to install. He had everything all done and ready to pick up the next day - earlier than I had expected and much appreciated!"

"This is one of the best experiences I have ever had with a service provider. If there was an A+ grade, I would give it to him. I would recommend him and his company to anyone who needed computer service."

"I have been real happy with it. I had some trouble with the printer and they took back the original printer they sold me and they gave me a newer bigger printer for a reasonable price. They have always been very helpful. They transferred some of my favorite programs to the new computer. "

"It went great. These guys have saved our lives about 5 times over the last few years. We love that for a reasonable fee, we can get immediate service."

"After one week without a home computer, I paid over $130 ($50 in labor) for them to replace my power cord...what a waste.
While they did call me a couple of days after we dropped off the computer to give us an update on ordering a part - the explanation was misleading - perhaps due to a language - something about an adapter, etc.. At this point, we also told them we forgot to mention the CD drive was not playing properly and could they take a look at that as well.
The surprise when we picked up the computer today that we had spent over $130 for a power cord and for what I consider to be a somewhat appalling of effort and 'labor' on their part - is pretty disappointing. Admittedly, my husband and I are not tech savvy people and we should have inquired more about this 'adapter' (which is why we took the laptop in to them in the first place), but we would have understood the explanation: "Your power cord doesn't work and we're ordering you another one. (at an enormous markup)" And when we asked about the CD drive, the guy had no idea what we were talking about.
It doesn't matter - we won't be taking the computer back here anyway."

"He was very professional, asked questions to get a feel for what was wrong. He figured out that the keyboard was sticking, so he gave me a new keyboard that was in his car. Hooked everything up and got it set up for me. Installed software security and just did a really great job. He was here one hour and I would definitely call him again!"

" and Nick own the company and they are very experienced and professional. They have several other workers who are also highly skilled.
It was a fantastic and affordable experience. You can contact them if there is a problem and they are very receptive and prompt with returning calls etc.
Really nice people and I highly recommend them."

" is very easy to work with, both in scheduling an appointment and sharing his vast knowledge on Macs. I especially liked the fact he reiterated as he was leaving our appointment: follow up calls and emails are included in the money I spent for this appointment. Not many businesses do that today and I know I'll turn to should I ever need home computing help in the future."

"My desktop PC was locked in a perpetual Chkdsk mode that I could not get out of after numerous attempts. Contacted HomeTechs and scheduled service that night. The quoted me hourly/trip charges and were very courteous and professional. arrived at my home as scheduled and proceeded to run a separate diagnostic that was very time consuming but which I understand is typical of this process. While we waited for the diagnostics to run he answered a lot of my questions and assisted on some other tasks (setting up my laptop to run on my wireless printer, linking my laptop with my desktop PC, backing up some files from another old pc onto my laptop.) Unfortunately, after the lengthy diagnostics and other checks proved unsuccessful he determined based on some noises that my 5 year-old hard drive was likely the issue and was likely to fail. He pulled out the hard drive and backed-up the most important files (photos, tax records, a large music collection, etc) on my laptop. This was all a three hour process but he deducted one hour because the slow & unsuccessful diagnostics failed to clear up the problem.
The next day HomeTechs called and quoted a price for a new hard drive (slightly higher than I could have gotten on my own) and scheduled to return that evening. Again he arrived as scheduled with the new hard drive, installed, set up the new operating system and gave me instructions for the things he knew I could do on my own (to save time & expense).
In the end, I could have probably bought a new computer for slightly more than I payed HomeTechs but as this was the first time I ever had a Home Computer fail, was most concened about recovering important data (which was extensive and consumed lot of the time spent), and learned a lot during the process, my overall experience was very positive. Just hated parting with that much money!
After spending five hours with him over two evenings, I can say that was extremely professional, personable, and was very patient with all my questions and requests.
If you don't have someone you know already know that is a computer whiz (and cheaper or free), I would recommend HomeTechs."

"Very well. was able to repair the hinge instead of replacing it, saving me money. They also replaced my laptop screen ( ) at a reasonable price. They got it done within 2 days, which is amazing. I will definitely return here to repair my computer if it needs it."
