's prices were comparable to his competitors, and lower in several instances. The leaks are gone, and the building looks great!"

"They did a decent job on the sealing and caulking, but we noticed that the concrete outside our bedroom window was chipped after they removed their ladder. It wasn't a giant chip, but it was big enough to be noticeable - about 3-4 inches. It took many phone calls to get them to speak with us about the chip, and they repeatedly denied that it was their fault. However, I'm pretty observant and the chip had not existed before they placed their ladder against the window (exactly at the location of the chip!). After much argument they ultimately repaired the chip - it took them about 5 minutes! So, while I think the sealing and caulking went reasonably well, if they damage your property, expect a major argument."

"We had this company come in and give us an estimate to convert our fireplace to gas. After giving them a $600 deposit we found it extremely difficult to get ahold of this company. After missing 2 appointments , we were forced to go looking for their store. After some back and forth, we were only able to recover $300 of our deposit. We think they never even order the parts. Please think twice about using this company."

"I was very happy with the experience. came out on a Saturday early to look at my existing fireplace and made some great recommendations. He really knew his stuff as I would use my iPad and he'd direct me to the various websites to look at what he recommended for my new logs/gas insert, and new screen. He could tell me exactly where to look on the web page without even looking. The materials came in even a bit earlier than expected, which was great, and they worked with me to install on a Saturday as my availability during the week was a little tough. The two installers really knew their business, were very personable and polite, and got the installation done quickly, properly, and cleanly. I am thrilled with how my new fireplace looks and I love the remote! I did have to follow up on getting the written estimate sent via email but that's the only "bump" in the whole process. Once I asked the email was sent right away with a follow up to ensure I received it properly."

"My chimney was falling apart year after year. In the past 10 years, I had to have it tuckpointed 3 times. I knew it didn't have a liner and the bricks were probably crumbling from the inside, so I decided to have a rebuild done. I have a very tall chimney, used for the furnace, water heater, and natural fireplace, so I knew it would be expensive.
I got 4 estimates for a rebuild & liner, and Lindermann's was right in the middle. I appreciated that they were not at all pushy and never tried to upsell. He gave me other options (including simply tuckpointing the existing chimney) but never pushed any of them. All appointments were kept by Lindermann. They were never late and called beforehand to let me know they were coming.
The first crew came out to install the liner and Chimney caps. They were very professional, yet personable. It took most of the day, but they installed the liner and reworked the exhaust venting of my furnace and water heater. Everything was well done and they cleaned up after themselves.
The next crew came out a couple of weeks later to tear down and rebuild the chimney. Once again, they were right on time and very professional. They rebuilt the chimney in 4 days (not including a weekend) and it looks fantastic. Since my house is built from a strange red brick that is no longer available, they warned me that the chimney may not match exactly. However, they matched the color of my red brick house extremely well. They also patched up a couple places away from the chimney as a bonus. The only gripe I have is that I ended up with a couple of inches of dust and broken mortar inside my fireplace which was not cleaned up. It may be due to the fact that we were not home during the final day of construction though.
Finally, Lindermann came back to install a top mounted damper for my fireplace. My existing damper is about 80 years old and no longer functions. As always, they did a good job. So far I am very impressed with Lindermann and very happy with their work. Obviously, I have yet to see if the chimney holds up, but so far it's great."

"They did an inspection and sent an estimate in PDF. We sent it back to them with an electronic signature so we didn?t have to constantly play tag. They did the job within two weeks and then we paid online. They did everything like they said they would and they were here exactly when they said they would."

"I needed my chimney replaced. I bought a 1926 home and the chimney was tilted to one side. For safety and cosmetic reasons, the chimney needed to be replaced. Masonry gave me a fair estimate, did the work when promised and cleaned up the area removing old brick for me. I was very pleased with the way this work was done."
