Service was completed as expected. Dropped the car off using the handy mail slot early Saturday morning. Work was completed by noon. I am very satisfied with the work performed and with the customer service provided. I will definitely use them again in the future.

What a fantastic experience and since I'm completely cynical about anything auto-related, it was a nice surprise. To start with, a friend had suggested
since her family has used them for many years. My husband had researched buying tires online and having them shipped and installed at some place closer to where we live. Well, I'm all for trusting my friends and even if the cost is a little more, I'd rather know who I am dealing with. Turns out, when you price the tires & installation at Acorn vs tires, shipping and installation from an internet purchase, it's very close. I decided to go with Acorn and called on Monday, spoke to
(there are 2), was referred to the other
and had a great detailed conversation about what I was looking for.
Thanks to that conversation I ended up in cheaper tires, not in quality but in price. After asking me detailed questions about how I drove, what was important to me (sporty? safety? ride comfort? looks?) he recommended a different tire which saved me a few hundred dollars over what I had said I wanted originally. They offered to put them on in 48 hrs but due to my schedule, I ended up making an appointment for Fri morning. I was informed it would take about 2 hours and that they had a waiting room with free wifi. Ok, works for me.
I ended up meeting a friend at Acorn an hour before my scheduled appointment time to have breakfast nearby. I dropped off my keys with
and headed out the door. When I returned they must have gotten to my car early because I ended up waiting maybe 5 min and
was at my elbow letting me know my car was ready! I hadn't even booted up my laptop yet. I got out of there a full hour before I expected to.
went over in detail what they did (even though it was spelled out in the installation plan I had chosen) he also mentioned my alignment was off (in this pothole heavy town I'm not surprised and had noticed my suv pulling to the right). Due to timing I was unable to wait to have them correct it that day but I'm going to make another appointment and get that fixed before I wear out these new tires unevenly. There was no pressure from Acorn to make the appointment right then or to even use them to fix it.
I could not be happier with the service I received. I was also impressed by some of the little things like there was a gentleman up at the counter speaking to some of the guys who worked there, I don't think he was a customer (perhaps he was an off duty employee?). When I was finishing up, paying and getting the warranty information, their casual conversation stopped while I was being waited on. It's not a huge thing but how many times do you end up waiting (at other stores) while employees shoot the bull and act like you don't exist or are cutting into their precious social time? I just appreciated that they seem to feel my time was valuable and that as a customer, my needs came before whatever they were doing.

The overall experience was fine. The waiting room and the entire facility was clean. There was no restaurants or stores in the immediate vicinity. I found that even though the wait was reasonable for what I had done, next time I'll make better arrangements and pass the time more efficiently. There definitely will be a next time.

Called their office to see if they had availability to fix a punctured tire - they did - I brought my car over and they took me immediately. I made a phone call while I waited for approximately 15-20 minutes and it was done. $25. Easy. Would definitely go to them again. They were also very friendly in addition to being efficient.

oI called on a Sunday to ask if they could get me in. I had a flat, but decided to replace all 4 tires, since I had more than 70,000 miles on them. They said yes, but would probably have it done by Monday. I got the quote, accepted, and dropped off the car. I then got a call back from the store informing me that they had misquoted me the wrong tire size. This was resolved, and the larger sized, more expensive but generic brand tire approved. Monday morning, I got a call back saying the re-quote was ALSO wrong, and would have to go even a size bigger. The tires on the car were factory, and I gave the folks at Firestone all of the model info with my first call. I suspect they were just trying to get me into branded tires so they could make more money. Very unprofessional. Oh, and they didn't fix my brake light.

Overall quality is great, I've used them before when I had my other car, when I got a new car I was using the dealer. However the dealer wasn't half as good so I brought my car back to him.

They are half the cost of a dealer. They

’t charge more for working on Mercedes Benz or BMW which is uncommon for this area. They are great mechanics and they clearly know what they are doing. I have already scheduled my next maintenance with them.

Hands down, the most honest mechanic in town. Their prices are reasonable too. Example, my check engine light came on a while ago, I took it to this one garage and they told me $88 just to hook up to the computer. I ended up taking it to these guys b/c it was near my office at the time. They hooked it up, found nothing wrong....and CHARGED ME NOTHING!! I have since moved my office, but will continue going back to

and the crew there, they truly are one of a kind. I cannot say enough about these guys and their honesty.
