I was moving and scheduled a service termination date of 6/16/2014. They sent me postage paid boxes to return the equipment on my own. I then received a call from
telling me they were picking up the equipment on May 30th. I informed them that it wasn't necessary as I will be mailing it back myself using the material they ready sent me, and that they couldn't retrieve it anyway on May 30th as it is two weeks prior to the shut off date that I am being billed for. Their representatives were very rude, and said they will then be there on 6/16 to pick up the equipment. I informed them that I will not be able to guarantee I will be there, which is why I needed to return the equipment on my own. They told me that since I was no longer a customer as of 6/16/14, my convenience didn't matter, and they will do whatever they want.

It took them 2 times to come out. First man said he didn't see the wire. How could he not see that big wire sitting on roof of garage. Then had to wait few days for another tech to come out.

I called Comcast 2 times during my 3-5 time that the installers were deemed to come. After 5 I called Comcast again they stated that the installer will be there so I waited out front. Close to half past 5 a received a 3 second phone call. I could not even answer the call. My phone was in my hand! I called the number back 3 times with no answer. Then I get a phone call from
Chicago Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
asking me what I needed installed. I ask him why he had not talked to Comcast to find out and he proceeded to get angry at me. While I was on the phone with

I received 2 phone calls not even a minute apart and only 2 rings.

told me that someone would be there in 25 minutes. I retuned the call that called me while I was on the phone with

came back on the phone and stated he was the supervisor and they tried to call and that this was my fault. I stated that I was on the phone with his technician when they called. He said too bad. This company lied. I was here waiting along with my husband phone in hand. They should not be trusted or used to do anything in your house.

They make you go through a whole series of tests to figure out what is wrong with your phone service and internet, which takes about an hour on the phone (cell phone since the landline doesn't work). Then they conclude that they need to send out a technician. Then you wait to get an appointment. They set up a three-hour window during which they say they will come. Then a half hour before the end of the period, they send out an automated phone call telling you they located the service problem in my area and unilaterally cancel the appointment after I arranged my date to accommodate their time schedule. The automated call tells me to call back if I still have a problem. I call back and get someone in Mississippi. That person puts me on hold for 20 minutes while she finds where the technician is. I'm told he will arrive within 15 minutes. No one shows up. An hour an a half later I call back and they tell me that maybe it is my router and they'll have to send me a new one. They can't tell me where the technician is and say he isn't coming if it is "just a router" and want to give me a phone number for the company that supplies the router. When the techs actually do come out and they have to wait to get their calls through to the main office for testing purposes, which on average takes 30 to 40 minutes. Then they get calls on their cell phones asking them where they are and why it is taking so long. This is about two days of my time and a lot of aggravation for the prices they charge. No one knows what the other techs or service people are doing. What a fiasco! I have put up with this for about 10 years and the service has gotten worse over that time. They are at my home on an average of every 2-3 weeks trying to figure out why their equipment doesn't work (mostly internet and landline, but sometimes the TV cable service as well). No more

for me! Would never recommend this company.

After many years of decent but expensive
Chicago Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
service because it was the only option in the building where I was living, I moved into a building where RCN was the only option and cancelled my
Chicago Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
account.
Chicago Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
offered several options to return my converter box and remote control. I chose to return it in a pre-paid USPS envelope that they sent me. This was clearly the incorrect option.
Chicago Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
did not pre-pay the extra $2 for a trackable delivery, and because it was pre-paid, I was unable to add that option at post office. To make a long story a little shorter,
Chicago Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
subcontracts the administration of pre-paid USPS mail returns to a third party, which made dealing with issue even more complicated, as I was receiving telephone calls from both the third party and
Chicago Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
requesting the return of the converter that I had already returned. I provided the receipt number from the USPS to several individuals, all of whom assured me that there was probably a delay in receiving it. I finally asked to speak to
Chicago Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
manager who wrote an "escalation ticket" to the home office and assured me that someone would call me in 24-48 hours. He would not give me a direct contact number for the home office but assured me that I would receive a call. I mailed a letter to the corporate headquarters in Philadelphia detailing the whole situation and including copies of the only receipts that USPS gave me. The only call I received was from a collection agency about a week later demanding $150 for the converter. At that point, I had had enough and was suddenly more interested in keeping the collection activity off of my credit history and just gave in. If I knew then what I know now, I would have gone to the nearest local
Chicago Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
office and returned it that way, because in the end this "convenient" method was far more expense and hassle than promised.

Highly recommend. My wife and I would hire them again. (1) They gave us a free estimate for the rooftop antenna installation. Other companies we contacted wanted to charge for the estimate (as much as $50). (2) They supplied everything necessary to get the job done (antenna, antenna mount, cable wire, etc) and had it all ready to go the day of the appointment. (3) Everyone we dealt with at
Chicago Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
was professional and very pleasant. (4) They gave us a fair price and were true to their estimate cost. (5) The owner,
Chicago Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
, gave us a follow-up call to make sure everything went well and that we were happy. FYI - We located them on the Service Magic website where there are tons more excellent ratings for

I called
Chicago Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
to ask him if he was able to service the television I have, and, indicating he couldn't, he gathered all the information about the set from me and tracked down a service provider who handled sets of my type. He was extremely professional and showed a level of customer service I don't often experience, considering he didn't stand to get any business from me for this specific problem. Furthermore,
Chicago Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
returned calls promptly and was easy to talk to. Based on my contact with
Chicago Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
, I would call him again and certainly use his company to perform any audio/visual services (that HTSquared handled) I needed going forward.

was great. He was very flexible, prompt, and professional. He offered great suggestions for how to enhance and streamline what we desired. He was efficient and effective, thus, completing the install a head of the scheduled time allotted. Unfortunately a day after the job was complete, there was a technical failure with the TV, requiring us to take down and return.
Chicago Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
agreed to return and install the replacement when it was convenient for our schedule. We were very pleased with

Serviceman came out promptly (after waiting on the phone forever) and installed the cable box. Within an hour of him leaving, the box stopped working, so we called
Chicago Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
. We waited on hold for about an hour before leaving a message. Never got a call back so I had to call them back and waited again. The customer service rep finally came on and, after another lengthy conversation, we figured out that the serviceman only used temporary codes to activate the box. They finally ended up resetting the box remotely and then it has worked thus far.

Poor ... had to sit and wait through a 4 hour block of time .. then they want to rush and get out ... don't really try to solve your problem. Want to blame it on the cables (which they installed). Admitted ATT will not invest in solving a problem unless they really know there is a problem...will not send out a line specialist.
