" 's (owner) responses (both email and phone call) were timely from my initial request for a quote. He came out and we talked through my basement's symptoms, likely causes, and suggested solutions. During the two days of floor work, the teams ( by ) were simply amazing. They protected the grass, cleaned-up afterward, and much more. provided experienced plumbing advice and repairs. was very flexible and went out his way to ensure the job was done right -- as if *he* was the homeowner. And ultimately, that's what you're looking for in a company."

"The dig-out and pouring went extremely well. Sand was everywhere for a while outside the house but they did a decent job cleaning up. They used a conveyor belt out one of the basement windows. The window got banged up but it didn't matter since we were putting in new ones. He stuck to the time frame that we had discussed. It took a couple weeks with a short break in between for a previously scheduled vacation and the plumbers to lower the sewage system. They worked peacefully with the plumbers.

"We were very pleased with the service and had used them before in a previous home (condo building). I would highly recommend the company as their pricing is fair and the product is very high quality. It was great that the company offers a variety of products at different prices so that the system can fit the needs of the home/building. Also, the installer also did an excellent job with the setup and cleanup after completing the work."

"Throughout the entire process, stretching some three months from first estimate to the work being finished, they handled themselves with complete professionalism. When I called with an issue they responded promptly. They tried hard to work with me in what I wanted within the constructs of what needed to be done. They were excellent at communication. The work was done in the time frame they said and at the cost they said. I did have one issue with them that bothers me. The new sump pit was supposed to drain into the yard, but the city of Chicago inspector wouldn't permit that and made us tie it into the main sewer line. This may potentially cause us problems down the road b/c if the backflow preventer is necessary but we are still putting in sump pit water behind it then that sump water could back up into our basement. We didn't have a choice b/c the city inspector demanded it, so that part is not ' fault. But should have known that was a city code requirement and told me that. It might have made a difference in relation to the work I would have chosen to do. We have not yet experienced the spring/summer/fall rains with these new systems, so I cannot comment on their reliability yet. But overall, I was very pleased with other than the city code problem they should have known about. I would certainly use them again."

"Overall, from the phone call I made on Monday morning to the repair that was finished by early Thursday afternoon, everything was done quickly and went extremely well."

"They were very good. The basement leaked after they sealed the crack because it was very cold but they came back within two days and fixed it. They apologized for the leaking and came and fixed the problem. They were very friendly, professional and punctual. They came, gave the quote, and had everything completed within a couple of hours."

"This was a mixed experience at best.
I originally had a problem with water on the basement floor. I called a couple of companies to look at it and give me estimates. PermaSeal proposed what seemed to be the most technically reasonable solution at what I deemed a fair price: putting in perimeter French drains and adding a sump pump to the basement. They would tie the sump into a waste stack so that it would flow into the main drain. Another company had proposed to do only half the perimeter and direct the sump flow into the space between my house and my neighbor's. PermaSeal's proposal was to code, so I chose them
I had to reschedule once due to illness and there was no problem. They showed up promptly on the newly rescheduled day.
The work proceeded without issue until they got to the laundry area. Opening the floor in the laundry area uncovered broken drain tiles. They had warned me that this happened occasionally. Unfortunately, there was no way to tell if they were already broken or if the stress of hammering open the floor cracked them. Either way I had to call in a plumber and city inspector to have them repaired at significant additional expense (not reflected in the price estimate I've given with this report). The crew did what they could to complete the job but left the laundry floor open so the plumbers could do their work.
Once the plumbers were done, I scheduled a return visit to pour the final concrete. The PermaSeal person who came out for to do this told us to mist the concrete for 24 hours to keep it from cracking. He asked if the original crew told me this. They hadn't. There are now numerous cracks in the new concrete.
After a few months, water returned to the same spot on the basement floor. A crew came out to look for the problem. I had to remove the paneling in the basement so they could inspect the foundation. They then sprayed water on the side of the house and determined that the problem was tuckpointing. It may be that the original issue was tuckpointing all along, but the original inspection didn't suggest this at all. So, now I don't know how necessary this entire experience was, plus I have to repanel and retile the basement"

"We had mysteriously-spurting water coming out into our basement through a crack in the concrete slab. In less than 2 hours, they completely resolved it, with a small amount of concrete demolition, some drain-clog-clearing and pipe hole repair, and new patch concrete poured to repair the slab.
They left the site in better-than-broom-clean condition, and put everything back that had to be moved to get into that (awkward) corner. They were on-site and doing work less than an hour after my initial call. Very happy with the service."

" came to give estimate (I already had three estimates, but I am thankful I contacted for a fourth). He simply has a wealth of experience and knowledge, pointed out what work was required and what work was not, answered all questions, and accommodated my schedule. He was professional with a caring, funny, great personality. I chose his bid because he was honest and straight-forward. His price was better than the other companies', and they had proposed work steps that proved to be unnecessary. By comparing bids and presentations, I could easily tell that 's company offered the best craftsmanship at the best price. The work was done according to schedule and the results were fantastic. A dirty, nasty space was converted into a dry, clean, sealed and well insulated crawlspace/mini-basement. All work was completed by hard-working, efficient, nice work people--who cleaned up everything! Communication was great! Follow-up was fantastic! The office workers, and April, were always very nice and helpful. I have worked with many contractors and work people in renovating this wonderful home-- and Crawlspace.com were among the best!!! I give them my highest recommendation! Many thanks!!!!"

"They gave me a per foot quote on the phone, showed up on time with the proper equipment, repaired the crack and accepted my coupon and check. They told me what to expect as the epoxy cured then cleaned up the area better than it was than before they arrived.
we've had several large downpours since the work was done and not even a hint of moisture in the basement.
Overall very satisfied!"
