For this particular repair, I was hit by another car and had to have my bumper repaired. Since their insurance covered it (and I carried insurance with the same company), I visited Royal to get an estimate. They took a few photos, were super polite, and gave me an estimate of what to expect. I was delighted by the smiles, the courtesy, onsite wifi, coffee bar, and prompt customer service. Clearly, they've done this before and have their service down to a science.
Not only did they give me a fair estimate, but they worked behind the scenes to sort out insurance claims, payments, and even arrange for a rental car onsite! They've done this every time I've needed service, in fact. They walked me through the claims process, parts ordering, repair, and timeline as easily as I'd order a drive thru
My car was repaired and even washed when I came to pick it up! Once again... delighted!
Here's a bit of a shocker ... the last time I visited them, they found my $3000 designer watch and had it waiting for me at the reception desk. I thought I'd lost it and was just delighted to get it returned. You don't find that kind of honesty in the city of Chicago very often.
My car was washed inside and out when I picked it up. It looked like a new car. He let me leave my other car at his secure parking spot when I came to pick up the repaired car. I was able to return and get it the next day. This kind of consideration is rarely seen nowadays.
It was the kind of interaction that we all wish for with a company. I was so pleased that I hugged him, and also had brought donut holes for all of the employees.
I highly recommend this shop for any and all auto body work.
In addition, when I was there the first day, I had also asked for an estimate to check our airbag (unrelated to the accident), since the airbag light had gone on awhile back and had stayed on. He said they had some equipment on-site which could check some things on the airbags and that they would do that for free, which they did. He informed that the airbag was fine, but the electronic panel was not functioning properly. He said the electronics would cost about $1,800 to replace, but said it is not essential to replace, since the airbag would still deploy in an accident, so he saved me $1,800.
The customer service was truly excellent. I can't think of any way that they could have done anything better. I would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone."

The team at B&L made sure to explain every part of the process to us. Everything from the repairs that were being done, to feedback from the insurance companies.
