came out and gave me a quote on the window that needed replacing. He was very nice and had a lot of information. I agreed to let them do the work and scheduled someone to come out the following Saturday to measure the window. This guy(
Charlotte Window Installers Provider Name Locked
??) came out when scheduled and measured the window. He said the window would be made and would take about 5-6 weeks to come in. I received a call in less than the estimated time that the window was in. I scheduled for them to come out on Saturday morning to install the window. I chose Champion because of their Saturday hours and they said they would be at my house between 8-9 that day. I got up and was ready at 8 for them to arrive. At 9:10 I still had not seen or heard from anyone so I called to find out where they were. I got a young girl who said she would call and find out what was going on. At 10:00 I called back because I still hadn't heard from anyone and the same girl answered the phone. She said she didn't have an answer. I asked her to find out something and give me a call back. At 10:15 she called back and said the installer was having truck problems and would be at my house between 11 and 12. He arrived at 11:58. The installation took about 2 hours and the window looks fine. My only problem with the whole process was the fact that no one bothered to call and say they would be late."

"We had an initial crew come out and remove the old windows and install the new ones. During this process, the crew realized that one of the windows came in the wrong size and a kit to finish the installation of the kitchen window was not included. The crew continued installing the rest of the windows. At a later time we discovered that one of the windows was not installed properly. We followed up with NSR about this issue as well as the status of the window that had to be reordered. A second crew came out to fix the window that was not installed properly. They also brought the window that was reordered (in the correct size) and the kit to complete the installation of the kitchen window. While it took longer than expected to have the project 100% complete, we were happy with the second crew that came to finish the project and inspected all the windows that were installed. "

"Despite the "No Solicitation" signs at the entrance to our neighborhood, a man from NSR knocked on my door this evening. When I asked him whether he saw the signs he claimed to not be soliciting. As proof, he offered a flyer stating "Please accept our apologies for any temporary noise or debris surrounding the address listed above." This, he said, was not soliciting but rather a courtesy to neighbors because they were working in the area. They were apologizing for any inconvenience and inviting us to an open house to see their work, he explained.
But as long as he was here, not for solicitation purposes, he notices we have vinyl windows and would we like a quote?
I called the homeowner at the address on the flyer. NSR actually did do work there and the guy was happy. However, the work was done 10 months ago and he was surprised to find out he's hosting an open house for the remodeler. It's also 3 miles from where I live, at the back end of a cul-de-sac in another neighborhood and not anywhere someone from our neighborhood would drive by. So much for apologizing for the construction mess.
At this point it doesn't matter how good the work might be, I'd NEVER hire them due to these deceptive and sleazy tactics.

"We had multiple quotes from different contractors. The price from
Charlotte Window Installers Provider Name Locked
was in the average range.
The folks from
Charlotte Window Installers Provider Name Locked
were fair, honest and accountable.
The windows were of the quality we requested and the installation was good. Windows work perfectly even after being installed into a 1965 home....more /> They installed on the timeline they originally estimated.
What really pushed them to an "A" rating for us was a situation where they under bid the work to to paint the windows. The price for painting was probably too low for the work effort. However, they made zero complaints and never asked for more money. All around just trustworthy guys.

and his crew were fabulous to work with from beginning to end. We were shown several options to replace the original door which had dry-rot, and limited our use of space.
Charlotte Window Installers Provider Name Locked
asked us many questions about our needs and preferences. He came back with an array of options in terms of design and pricing; providing pictures, schematics, features, etc. to help us make our decision.

was extremely attentive to our needs all along the way. The day of installation was quite smooth. The crew was competent, punctual, polite and efficient. They cleaned up everything from the sawdust to the fingerprints. I'm already thinking of other projects I want

"I assume this is the same company that was located on Village Lake Drive in 2002. Did a good & professional job. Work was finished on time as best I can remember. They were very upfront and answered all my questions. There were several minor things I had to call them back to fix, caulking, trim pieces, outside cleanup and incorrect screws used to reinstall existing window blinds. They responded immediately to my requests and corrected all issues. Overall I thought they did a good job. Over the next 4 or 5 years I called them back a couple of times to adjust the front doors, which had gotten out of alignment due to the house settling. Each time they took care of the problem with no charge to me. I have had no problems since with either the windows or the door. Again, I assume this is the same company that was located on Village Lake Drive in 2002.

"I contacted
Charlotte Window Installers Provider Name Locked
to replace windows, doors and reside my house.
Charlotte Window Installers Provider Name Locked
showed up on time to look at the house and see what needed to be done. We spent about 2 hours, in the evening, looking at the windows, doors and siding that
Charlotte Window Installers Provider Name Locked
would provide. We decided to go ahead with the windows and doors and put off the siding until 2014.
Charlotte Window Installers Provider Name Locked
came to the house on another night so we could pick the type of windows and doors to put in. Our house still had the construction grade windows and doors in it. The replacement windows are a substantial improvement. They are about twice as thick as the old ones and we no longer have cold air blowing through and around the windows. They are such an improvement that the furnaces only come on about half the time, if that, as they did before. The care that
Charlotte Window Installers Provider Name Locked
and
Charlotte Window Installers Provider Name Locked
took to install the windows and make sure it was done correctly was very professional. They look great and there are no air leaks around the windows.
The doors came in a week later and
Charlotte Window Installers Provider Name Locked
and
Charlotte Window Installers Provider Name Locked
came out and installed them. The doors are high quality doors and as with the windows, they were installed correctly and all the air leakage we experienced before has stopped. They look great inside and out.
I cannot stress enough how much better the windows and doors are then what would have come from the DIY stores.
Charlotte Window Installers Provider Name Locked
said they were a higher quality and we compared them to the windows and doors available at the DIY stores. He was right, and we are very pleased with the windows and doors we had installed.

"These guys were very friendly and fast and they didn't fiddle with marking the prices up so they could bring them down- they told us their lowest price for the windows we wanted and said ti would be a few weeks before install could happen- but then pleasantly surprised us with being able to install them much earlier. The windows look great and our house is so much nicer now. They had to install an enormous front picture window and it took all of therm to carry it- but they did it beautifully and it really looks sharp. They added the gas and sealed it all up and were done so quickly you really have to give them a try!
