"They were scheduled to arrive at 12:00. When they had not come by 12:15, I called the company. The person who answered the phone said that the employees should have arrived and he would try to reach them. The two employees arrived 5 minutes later and said that someone should have called to let me know that they were running late. The work was ...more to include cleaning of a sofa and chair, if they were steam cleanable. The employees checked those 2 pieces and said that they were not steam cleanable. They said that the furniture could be dry cleaned but they did not recommend it because it uses noxious chemicals. They checked the glider chair and found that it could be steam cleaned. The employees cleaned the carpets and the glider chair and were finished in about 30 minutes. They asked me if I wanted scented cleaner used on the carpets or no scent. I chose no scent. The carpet looked great when they were finished and there was no scent. It took several hours to dry but I was told that this was a lot less than regular wet cleaning would take. They did not charge for the glider chair cleaning (usually $10) because they had arrived late without calling. "

"We had a friend's dog stay with us overnight who ended up peeing on our living room couch. Our first step was to look up dog sitters on Angie's List for their future reference! Our second step was to call an upholstery cleaner. We got a couple quotes and most were the company's minimum charge for coming out (about $100). Carpet Cleaners was booked too, but they offered to put us on a standby list in case they had any cancellations. The dispatcher told us they do about 60-70 appointments a day and that our chances were pretty good. About 2 hrs later we got a call that one of their teams was in the area and could swing by. . Both were extremely friendly and helpful. The dispatcher told us we might as well have the whole couch cleaned since we had to pay the minimum, and

were happy to do so. They offered to just do the cushions though and charge half the price. We were very pleased with this since $50 was cheaper than if we had to rent a steam cleaner and buy the chemicals ourselves. They explained everything they were doing throughout the process and gave us lots of good advice (when we asked) about cleaning other material around this house. After cleaning the cushions,

went ahead and cleaned the bottom of the couch in case anything had gotten on there. They also cleaned a dog bed that was next to the couch for no charge. After trading some stories about different dogs we each have had they cleaned everything up and took off. Total job took about 45 mins. There were two other things we liked. Now that they have been here once, they will be our assigned team, so we will always know who is coming if we get things cleaned in the future. Also, all of their cleaning teams are made up of a man and a woman. This is a nice touch if I can't be home and my wife needs to be there instead. Overall, this was a great experience and ended up saving us from any hard feelings with our friends."
