"Awesome, as usual. Fair price, on time, great service. I have been taking my Hondas to

and crew for many years now and they always provide superior service - on time, fair price, correct the first time, and detailed explanations and advice to help when making a repair decision."

"It went well. They worked with my deductible based Carmax maintenance warranty for the components that were covered. The owners didn't try and sell me anything I didn't need. They did make reasonable recommendations for service in the future.

It was a good experience."

"Dutch always makes it right. I bought tires from him one year, and they didn't last as well as I had hoped. He replaced them at his cost. Same thing happened with a set of brake pads; Dutch replaced them free of charge. He is honest and trustworthy and never tries to sell me something I don't need or want."

"I was very dissatisfied with
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
Center. It took four weeks for them to get my truck fixed. I was very unhappy with their service. They actually kept my truck for three or four weeks. I was without transportation for that time. At the end of it, they quoted me one price and then by the time they were finished fixing, it was twice that price. Even to this date I haven?t put it on the road yet because I?m nervous to drive it at any distance. I have driven it around
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
but not any further than that. Their original quote was $2000 but I ended up spending $4000 with them. I would advice anyone not to trust what they say. I was recommended to
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
but wasn?t told a specific
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
Center. I looked at this one because it was part of another company that I know but that did not make a difference at all. I had to chase them down for updates on my truck. I had to call them as opposed to them calling me with an update, especially after they had committed on giving me a call with the work status. They gave me the truck back saying that it worked. I took it around the corner and it still did exactly the same thing it did when I had first brought it to them. I spent all that money and it didn?t work. Then, they kept my truck for two more weeks to figure it out. My dissatisfaction with them was for them to give me my truck saying that it works when it clearly doesn?t work. It took me to bring it back to them just to point out the fact that it doesn?t work. I would not use them in the future and I would tell anybody not to use them.

"I took our 2000 Chevy Astro to
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
after reading the positive reviews on Angie's List as I was still having problems following a transmission rebuild performed by another shop in town. While mechanics at the shop that did the original rebuild was too stupid to figure out what was wrong with the transmission they rebuilt,
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
quickly figured it out and fixed the problem. Turns out the torque converter was bad.
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
replaced the converter at a very reasonable price and the van runs perfectly now.

"Scheduled an appointment; but the vehicle broke down before appointment and
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
covered the cost of the tow. They did not do a good job communicating the status and when the vehicle would be ready for pickup. The repair work was outstanding and they charged me what they originally quoted. The transmission came with a 3 year warranty."

"Dropped car (2007 Dodge Charger) off late on Thursday12/30/09. Was told I would receive call next day with diagnosis of problem. I called early afternoon of 12/31 to get status and there was no answer, I guess because it was New Year's eve (though there was no notification of early closing). I did not call on New Year's day. I called Monday morning for status and was told the car was not around, maybe out for a test drive, and I would get a call from
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
with update. Called later Monday and was told
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
and mechanic were at lunch, but leak had been found,
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
was dropped and
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
would call with update. Monday late, I called and confirmed above with
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
, who expected parts Tuesday. As of Thursday I had received no update so I called and spoke to
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
again who said parts were in. I expressed frustration on slow response and lack of feedback from
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
(parts were to arrive Tuesday per previous conversation & no calls from them in over a week.).
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
expressed frustration back. I called
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
Friday morning 1/8/2010 to check status and was told car was ready. Picked it up Friday afternoon. Leak appears to be fixed. During the 9 days the car was in the shop, I did not receive a single call from
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
? the only updates were given when I called them. Pros: Repair was successful Cons: Poor feedback

"As a 1st time customer I had an oil change performed by
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
(the old Pineville Tire).
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
the new owner recommended an extended oil change service by BG products. It came with an extra 2,000 miles and a free tow if I needed it within the next 4 months. Their mechanic recommended a timing belt and water pump replacement due to my mileage. After checking their prices, which were very good. We decided to go ahead with the job. They did the job on time, within budget and keep us informed all along the way. It couldn't have gone better. If this wasn't enough for you, here's what
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
has to offer you when you go there. A beautiful showroom with a wonderful couch and leather chairs, very clean, flat screen tv with dvd player and a PS2 system. My kids played in their playroom, which is a Nemo themed room with great clean toys. To top it all off they made fresh popcorn for us in their popcorn maker. My kids didn't want to leave if you can believe that, really!
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked

the new owner is also wonderful to deal with. They have our business for life.

"I cannot say enough about the integrity of Dutch, the owner. Honesty is the
Charlotte Transmission Shops Provider Name Locked
of his business and he gave us the best possible solution to a frustrating repair- transmission completely burned out after only 65k miles! Communication and quality of work were excellent. The car runs better than the day I bought it!"

"They replaced my transmission after a mechanic elsewhere discovered fluid leaking from it. After I got the car back I discovered the cruise control wasn't working and took the car back to them. They drove it, the cruise control worked for them. They searched for a cause as to why it might not be working but found none. I discovered the cruise control was still working intermittently and that the shifter wasn't working properly so I brought the car back to them. They looked for problems with connections for the cruise control, found none and fixed the shifter. They explained to me that the shifter could have been responsible for the problem with the cruise control and it was. They probably should have realized this at the beginning of the day, but at least it was fixed. Later I discovered there was still fluid leaking. They then replaced the front axle boot (which connects to the transmission). But there was still fluid leaking. They found out the mechanic had forgotten to replace a clip when he installed the boot. At this point I was dealing with the service manager who was apologetic and offered to fill my gas tank before I left. I told her that this whole experience had been bad and that they should have discovered and corrected the problems before the car left the shop. She apologized again and said things weren't handled properly. She asked what else she could do to keep my business and offered to detail my car which I accepted. They were polite and accommodated my need for transportation to and from work each time they kept my car. I would use them again because I bought my car there and it is convenient for me to have service to it there. I will be wary of the service in the future but will give them another try because of the service manager's response to my complaint."
