Home Remodeling Reviews in Charlotte

We are extremely pleased with both the process, and the finished result provided. The workers were skilled, hard working, and polite; the project manager, Esiquio
, was attentive to the smallest detail. Our tile floors are perfectly laid - with straight and consistently spaced grout lines; trim was installed and painted to give a well finished appearance. They also were sure to clean up after themselves, even taking the time and effort to shine the floor!

House was left unsecured five times. Contractor was rarely there. Did not stick to terms of contract. Work that was completed was done incorrectly, leading to leks and ruined carpet. Very unresponsive and project is 4 months overdue

was extremely conscientious and stayed in touch during all of the planning and work periods. He lost one of his painters, slowing down the process. He also needed to switch to another marble installer and cabinet refinisher. The cabinet refinisher was excellent but the marble installer had difficulty with the work.

stepped in; however, before he did, the marble work was not excellent. All of the workers were polite, reliable and did a good job. The plumber was a bit careless and there were initial leaks with the sink, garbage disposer, and washer. These were all corrected when I pointed them out. There was a great deal of painting in the project.

took on some of it, but two days the crew worked 10-11 hours. The work continued beyond the 5 days predicted, moving to all day on Saturday and Monday morning. I was not surprised, given the scope of the work. In fact, it might have been easier on all of us to have had more breathing room as workers needed to work on top of each other and late-although it was nice to have the work done in 8 days. When they left, they carefully cleaned up. I am very happy with the outcome.

Before he came out he made sure we knew he didn't do tiny jobs, and that his work tended to be in the $15,000 and up range, and were we looking for something of that scope. Since we were doing a remodel, I said yes. He came out, told us it would be probably 28,000 or more, I asked for a written estimate, and we never heard back again.

were terrific to work with. Punctual, professional, courteous and actually fun to have around. It was like having company, except they were getting work done. Would most definitely use them again.

helped us get the house ready to sell. We updated the Kitchen, bathroom and general repairs around the house.

researched and found cabinets doors for the kitchen and tile for the shower/bathroom floor. He found a non standard sized tub for the master bathroom. He painted, removed popcorn, fixed just about everything that needed fixing, helped pick colors/tiles. Pretty much did everything one can imagine with a kitchen/bathroom remodel.
The bathroom shower and bathroom floor came out great. He went around the house and fixed all the wood rot around the house. Again, just about everything.

does a great job and has a lot of integrity. Knowing we were selling he found items that were good quality, but, cost effective. He made sure things that would show up on the inspection report were corrected even if it wasn't something we had him out to do.
We would use him again. Already thinking about calling him out to update the tile shower and floor in our new house.

The entire structure was done in 2 days. All went very well. There was a crew of three. The wood looks great and we love the new shade! The structure was built exactly as we requested.

and crew were very responsive and professional. We have engaged their services for the remodeling of our master bath, a new second floor utility room, and the remodeling of our kitchen. Oh yes, we will be keeping them busy for the next few months!!!

I cannot say enough about the quality and professionalism of
Charlotte Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
. Over a year ago,
Charlotte Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
came in and gave me an estimate to remodel my two bathrooms. It was a challenging job, as we needed to add an area for a stacked washer dryer unit, without losing any of the functionality of the two (small!) baths. He came up with the most innovative solution, at an excellent price. Unfortunately, I couldn't move forward with the project at that time, but after a year's delay,
Charlotte Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
was able to reassess the estimate and stay almost within the original bid. More importantly, he was able to do the work while I was in and out of town for nearly two months.
Charlotte Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
was completely professional, entirely trustworthy, and the two bathrooms turned out better than I'd imagined. I actually have a little more room than I did before, due to some creative reworking of the interior walls, and everything from the tile work to the trim is absolutely perfect.

is easy to work with, and he is meticulous in his accounting. At every stage of the process, I knew exactly where we stood in terms of the budget. I cannot recommend

Went great!

employes competent people who seem very trustworthy. They did a great job. Put in new granite counter tops, back splash, hardware, etc. Also had out dated wallpaper that needed to be removed. Then they painted. Timely in finishing and great job.

I am tired of having to babysit contractors and tell them how to do their job. I hired them to do the job not for me to do it. Ed
Charlotte Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
is a general contractor and is one that I should definitely NOT have to babysit. He originally quoted me $175 for installing the 2 contractor boxes for the light fixtures wiring, installing 2 light fixtures, including to patch and paint the wall where the old light fixtures were (as long as the hole for the contractor box was not too big). He also said he would nail in a loose shoe mold and bring his ladder to snap back in place a loose soffit in the siding outside. He said he would not charge me extra for the shoe mold and soffit repair. When I called him back out to come and start the work, I added a couple things to the list. He came out and proceeded to install the light fixtures. However, he told me he had to think about how much it was going to cost to do the soffit repair and the new items I added to the list. He also told me he didn't want to do the soffit repair because he is allergic to bees and if there are bees up there he may get stung and that I need to get an exterminator first. When he originally came out, I showed him where the soffit was loose and told him I think bees are getting in the house through there. He NEVER mentioned being allergic to them. He installed the contractor boxes for the lighting wiring and also installed the new light fixtures. He did patch the holes in the wall left behind by the old light fixtures. However, he now changed his story and told me he would have to make an extra trip to come and paint the wall and it would be an additional cost on top of the $175. I explained to him that the $175 he quoted me was for all of the work including the patch and paint of the wall since the hole for the boxes was not too big. He still insisted that he was going to have to make an extra trip to do the painting and it would be an extra charge. He also he was not prepared to start on the remaining items we had discussed including repair of a shed and the new small jobs I added to the list. After some arguing, he said I could give him $150 for the work he did. Btw, the light fixtures DO NOT FIT in my space yet he still installed them and they look horrible. He didn't bother to climb on the ladder to see if the soffit piece can be snapped back in place. He also didn't bother to start work on the remaining items and said he was going to have to think about the cost and get back to me. Another thing, he spent too much time while here talking and blabbing instead of working. He complained about his health issues, his mother's passing, etc, etc. He followed up later with an e-mail stating "After how things went today I do not think I am the contractor that you are looking for. With that in mind I will not return to do anything else. I did everything that I said I would do, even did a few things that I did not charge for and lowered the price we agreed on." He lied, did not do what he said he would do for the price he would do it, spent over 3 hours at my house and didn't even complete the main part of the job properly, meanwhile he ran his mouth with too much blah blah instead of working.
