We live in a house built in 1923 in a historic district.
had a very realistic set of goals and objectives about the project and
was very honest about things that could delay us and things that might come up in a house this old. We were very grateful to have a builder who is experienced enough to know the realities of home renovation. As anticipated we got into the project and the foundation of the house had issues. Again
was honest and forthcoming about the delays that would happen as a result. No project is perfect, but having builder who has integrity and demands quality is a must. Our addition is beautiful and everything we wanted. It was a long six months but we couldn't have found a better builder to make the journey with us. I would wholeheartedly recommend

My wife and I were highly impressed by
and his team at
& Renovations. After discovering that one of the drain pipes in our master bathroom was leaking within the wall of our stairwell, we called around to several different plumbers and contractors to get quotes. Unlike other providers,
answered my call on the first ring and was very polite and responsive.
I knew that our project - which simply involved removing a section of dry wall, replacing the damaged section of pipe, and replacing the drywall - was not going to be a very large or lucrative project. However, much to my surprise,
treated us with respect and attentiveness throughout the process. He showed up, as promised, to evaluate our issue and provide a quote. I initially thought that the quote was a bit high, but he assured me that he would be fair on the final invoice if the project required less time than he originally estimated.
My wife and I were particularly impressed by the actual work product, and the experience provided by
and his plumber. They were punctual, polite, and professional throughout the process. I was amazed at their attention to detail...
's drywall work was virtually a work of art, and they cleaned the work space so thoroughly that it was impossible to tell they had even been there. To my wife's delight,
's plumber even replaced a warped drain fixture in our master bathroom tub, despite that not being in the scope of the original project. As promised,
even came through on the price - his final invoice was $300 less than he originally quoted, due to the project taking less time than he expected.
My wife and I are now considering investing in a full remodel of our master bathroom within the next year or two, and after our experience with
, I can say with confidence that we will ask
& Renovations to perform the work. I would highly encourage anyone who is looking for a quality contractor to ask
for a quote; the company's price may be a bit higher at first glance than other providers, but I can assure you are getting your money's worth.

did a great job working with us all the way from quoting to finishing the job.
Charlotte Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was definitely the most thorough person quoting the job, getting into the attic to verify locations of vent pipes to understand their impact to our design. They also worked with us on our time constraint, planning out the job to get it finished by our target deadline. They were both very communicative the entire time and were easy to get in contact with via phone and email. They were aware of their impact to us, taking multiple steps to minimize the construction dust and debris. The sub-contractors that came also did good work.
Overall, we upgraded from the original cookie cutter contractor look, have a new tub and shower to enjoy, and ended up with a great new look to our master bath that will also add value to our home! Thanks for doing a great job!

I called to make an appointment to come to the showroom to discuss
remodeling my bathroom. The website says that the do work all over

told that they pick and choose who they work with and they will no
longer come to

because it is too inconvenient. From previous
reviews, it sounds like they do good work. But just beware if you don't
live "on the lake" they will probably not work with you. They should
update the website to reflect their very limited work area.

Very professional and punctual.
Mr.

said to me on the phone I will be there tomorrow at 6 pm to give me an estimate and yes he was here at 5:55 pm. He answered all my questions, and in detail explained everything he was going to do if I hired him for the job, well, I am super glad I did. The next day he send me an email with a detail estimate of what needed to be done and how much it was all going to cost me. I was very happy with his price after getting 3 other unhappy estimates, if you know what I mean.
Best of all, Mr.

said to me, I will be here every day until the job is completly done and yes he was. He said I will be there every day betwenn 8 am and 8:30 am and yes he was. He said the job was going to take him 4 days and yes it did. Because of my greate experience with his service I really think anyone out there looking to have some tile work done should get an estimade from this guy before you hire a contractor. Oh yeah, construction site clean up and disposal done, he did it all.

came over quickly and gave us a price of $205 to clean both shower doors. After 2 hours the glass was good as new. He also applied a repellent that is warrantied for 5 years to keep the glass from clouding up again. We noticed the next day after taking a shower that the water beaded up and ran to the bottom. It was almost dry after just taking a shower. We're sold!

It did not go well. It was problems from the beginning and when I companied or asked about completion dates I was lied to about when it would be completed and how it would be completed. When I finally started wanting some sort of schedule then there were "sudden" unexpected things that would set the project back although they had been thoroughly talked about before. When I would get Lowe's or the big bosses involved then everything would be okay for about two days and go right back to the same way it was. It was problems from the beginning. We were told 6-7 weeks for it to be completed and it took UP UNTIL JUNE, WHEN LOWES PULLED THEM OFF OF THE PROJECT AND GOT A WHOLE NEW COMPANY. DO NOT USE

We had a leak in the master shower and decided to just gut and remodel the entire bathroom.
Charlotte Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
was great through the whole process because it took us a long time to decide what we wanted and feel ready to book the job. The work started on 3/10 and took only 5 weeks, much less time than many of our friends experienced with other contractors. Everyone was so impressed that

The bathroom is amazing. The granite and tile vendors
Charlotte Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
partners with are top notch and we are in love with how everything turned out. We had the existing shower moved to another spot so it could be 5' x 4' and a wall torn down in order to create a 90" space for a vanity. Everything looks so amazing - the tile work is perfect and the shower is the best one I've ever showered in! During the process
Charlotte Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
also coordinated everything, so we didn't have to do any work. He coordinated all granite &tile delivery, cabinet install and inspection.

I am tired of having to babysit contractors and tell them how to do their job. I hired them to do the job not for me to do it. Ed
Charlotte Kitchen And Bath Remodelers Provider Name Locked
is a general contractor and is one that I should definitely NOT have to babysit. He originally quoted me $175 for installing the 2 contractor boxes for the light fixtures wiring, installing 2 light fixtures, including to patch and paint the wall where the old light fixtures were (as long as the hole for the contractor box was not too big). He also said he would nail in a loose shoe mold and bring his ladder to snap back in place a loose soffit in the siding outside. He said he would not charge me extra for the shoe mold and soffit repair. When I called him back out to come and start the work, I added a couple things to the list. He came out and proceeded to install the light fixtures. However, he told me he had to think about how much it was going to cost to do the soffit repair and the new items I added to the list. He also told me he didn't want to do the soffit repair because he is allergic to bees and if there are bees up there he may get stung and that I need to get an exterminator first. When he originally came out, I showed him where the soffit was loose and told him I think bees are getting in the house through there. He NEVER mentioned being allergic to them. He installed the contractor boxes for the lighting wiring and also installed the new light fixtures. He did patch the holes in the wall left behind by the old light fixtures. However, he now changed his story and told me he would have to make an extra trip to come and paint the wall and it would be an additional cost on top of the $175. I explained to him that the $175 he quoted me was for all of the work including the patch and paint of the wall since the hole for the boxes was not too big. He still insisted that he was going to have to make an extra trip to do the painting and it would be an extra charge. He also he was not prepared to start on the remaining items we had discussed including repair of a shed and the new small jobs I added to the list. After some arguing, he said I could give him $150 for the work he did. Btw, the light fixtures DO NOT FIT in my space yet he still installed them and they look horrible. He didn't bother to climb on the ladder to see if the soffit piece can be snapped back in place. He also didn't bother to start work on the remaining items and said he was going to have to think about the cost and get back to me. Another thing, he spent too much time while here talking and blabbing instead of working. He complained about his health issues, his mother's passing, etc, etc. He followed up later with an e-mail stating "After how things went today I do not think I am the contractor that you are looking for. With that in mind I will not return to do anything else. I did everything that I said I would do, even did a few things that I did not charge for and lowered the price we agreed on." He lied, did not do what he said he would do for the price he would do it, spent over 3 hours at my house and didn't even complete the main part of the job properly, meanwhile he ran his mouth with too much blah blah instead of working.
