"
was my sales person. He came out promptly and gave us an estimate after measuring our 2 car and 1 car garage. Price was very fair compared" to other estimates I received. His crew came on time, performed the service and cleaned up before they left. The garage floors look amazing. So glad we found this company. I would recommend them without hesitation.

F
"I met with
Prince of
at my South
home on Monday May 18th 2015; to arrange for an estate sale" before a relocation. Mr.
toured my home and asked me to point out which items I intended for him to sell. After the tour he said that the limited number of items that I intended to sell was better suited to his off-site consignment business rather than an estate sale at my home. He offered to transport these items to his warehouse and sell them in exchange for a 60% share of the proceeds. During his visit I also let Mr.
know that I intended for him to liquidate a storage unit full of inventory curated for sale on a popular vintage website, on which I’ve received top ratings. Mr.
accepted the key and entry code for the storage unit. Mr.
promised that he would check out the storage unit items by Wednesday May 20th and then call me to make pickup arrangements. As motivation for me to consign these items with him, he said that it would be possible for him to move them to his consignment location as early as May 21st so that I would not have to pay for another rental month on the storage unit. I agreed for him to move the items as long as he called to let me know about it first. I did not hear from Mr.
until early June. When he finally called back he confirmed his intention to transport the storage items and asked if he could go ahead with it since he still had my key. At this point I was concerned that I didn’t have a written contract with him (because he hadn’t called me back when promised or picked up the items the first time) so I told him that he could move the items as soon as we got the contract written up. Mr.
agreed and said that he’d check his schedule and call me back to set up a time within the next couple of weeks to come by with the contract; pick up the consignment items from my home and storage unit, and then return the key. I agreed, adding that this would give me time to finish up my work with my professional organizer so that I’d have everything consolidated in one room and packed for Mr.
to pick up. I didn’t hear back from Mr.
that next week. By Tuesday June 16th my organizer and I finished the consignment items for Mr.
, following his instructions on what items he wanted. We had taken extra care to wrap and package the smaller and fragile items because Mr.
said that it was a hassle for his crew to deal with packaging
during a pickup. I still hadn’t heard back from Mr.
and was beginning to worry. I left messages for him on his business and cell phones during the week of June 22nd. Mr.
left a voice mail for me on June 29th. I left a return voicemail for him on the morning of June 30th and then Mr.
reached me in person shortly thereafter. After an exchange of pleasantries Mr.
cheerfully said that he was swamped with business and couldn’t pick up my items for at least three weeks, maybe more. I reminded him that he had committed to accepting my consignment items in May, promised to call me to arrange a pickup, and never called back. Mr.
responded that he did not have a contract with me and never made any commitment to me. I did not sign a contract with
because Mr.
did not request that I sign a contract or even bring one into my house when he visited my home in May. I asked him for a written agreement after the first time he didn’t call or pick up my items. Furthermore, he made multiple verbal commitments to pick up my storage items and held on to my storage unit key for nearly two months. Why would he keep my key if he did not intend to consign my items? When we spoke on June 30th, Mr.
excused his behavior by claiming that I was supposed to call him when I was finished with the professional organizer. I specifically remember Mr.
saying on the phone that he had to check his schedule in order to arrange a pickup time; and most of the organizing was already done by the time he called. I made the consignment items first priority to be finished within his time frame. Rather than dwell on whatever miscommunication may have happened, I told Mr.
that I’d be willing to work with his schedule as long as he could give me a firm pickup date in writing. At that point he said that it would be better for me to find someone else to help me. I told Mr.
that I intended to give his business a poor review and he snapped back that he’d just write a rebuttal. His quick response made me wonder if he’d had practice at responding to poor reviews. I wish I could say that I’m surprised, but I’d already begun to suspect that Mr.
was not motivated to handle my modest downsizing job and was just stringing me along so that he’d have it to fall back on in case he didn’t get more lucrative estate jobs. When he first met with me I explained that I was working with a professional organizer in anticipation of our relocation. He responded that he also offers organizing, moving, and so forth and suggested that it would be more convenient for me to have all of my relocation services provided by his company. His expression appeared irritated when I explained that my organizer was worth her weight in gold and that I would not consider giving her up. As Mr.
toured my house he instructed me to point to each of my household belongings and indicate which items were to “go” or “stay”. He seemed particularly interested in certain items; interrupting me a number of times to ask “what about this table? What about those bookcases?...” etc. I again sensed irritation whenever I responded that one of these items was going to stay. Rather than respect my decisions, I felt like he was definitely making a pitch for certain items. For example, he joked that it never snows in
and that we were nuts to hold on to a snow blower. It may not snow here often, but we have come to the rescue of many a neighbor during heavier storms. Furthermore, what interest would he have in consigning the snow blower if no one around here needed one? Mr.
went so far as to ask pointed questions about estate and probate arrangements for a loved one whose funeral we had attended just three days before his visit. My impression is he wasn’t very happy to learn that arrangements were made already. Yet another missed revenue opportunity for
. Based on my interaction with Mr.
, I would describe him as a smooth operator who knows how to act charming and dependable while getting what he’s after. He has his sales pitch down pat. Mr.
gave me a firm handshake and departed with my storage unit key. Soon after he left I reflected on my interaction with him and began to wonder if I’d misplaced my trust. When everything is said and done, shame on me for not trusting my gut, making him give my key back, and seeking help elsewhere. Just like anyone else who is coping with transitions like relocation and a death in the family, I have my hands full. I was so glad to have one more responsibility checked off the list that I crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. If I played any part in the miscommunication between myself and Mr.
I sincerely regret it. Nobody is perfect. However, I am writing this negative review about
because Mr.
entered my home in a professional capacity and therefore I expected him to behave professionally; whether he decided to accept my business or not. Bottom line: Mr.
accepted the key to my storage unit, kept it for 44 days and counting, and then told me that he had not made any commitment to me and would not do the job. This behavior is not what I consider to be professional and it is certainly not what I consider to be
. In the course of working with numerous service providers I have run across two kinds of business owners. Some have chosen to make a living at something that they are passionate about, hold themselves to impeccable standards, and value keeping their word above all else. Some, on the other hand, turn to entrepreneurship for other reasons. Maybe they have had limited success in some other occupation, or they
’t work well with others, and they tend to see customers as dollar signs rather than as human beings. In my opinion,
Prince of
falls into the second category.

Hi,

This is Kyle K from Member Care. Thanks for your question. I'm happy to help!

I looked through our database to find providers to assist you, but I'm sorry to say we don't currently have options in your area.

We like to offer members at least three options for their projects, so when this happens we are happy to offer the services of our Local Research Department. They will search outside of our database to track down some options for you. Because these providers won't be rated by members, it will be difficult to determine intangibles like reliability, price, expertise and other things that can be found on member reviews. However, we want to help you find a place to start with your project. Please allow a couple of business days for them to follow up with their findings.

Please let me know if I can assist further. You can respond to this thread or submit a new Answers post. You can also reach us at memberservices@angieslist.com. We're happy to help!

Bought the Angie's List deal to get 500.00USD worth of service at a discount price as part of a big deal. Originally spoke with
Charlotte Storage Organizers Provider Name Locked
from
Charlotte Storage Organizers Provider Name Locked
. He's basically owns the
Charlotte Storage Organizers Provider Name Locked
franchise. Very good guy. Turned up on time, very polite and with a great attention to detail. I showed him what was (to be fair) a quite modest job, but he spent time explaining my options and gave the job a full assessment. He measured up and provided a timeline when I could expect his carpenter/installer to visit. On that date, I met with a
Charlotte Storage Organizers Provider Name Locked
engineer who worked very quickly and efficiently to do the install. Great work. Visitors to my kitchen all ask about the particular cupboard as it really is a good use of a small space. Considering further work this coming Summer.

Their whole presentation was great and wonderful. Their customer service was awesome. They explained it well too and they had some great ideas. Their quality and everything seemed to be on target, but we felt like it was too experience for us and for what we were looking for.

works hard while they are here, leaves the house looking great, and is reasonably priced. They use the cleaning agents that I prefer if specifically requested. They are ready to do whatever is requested on each visit including windows or other special needs. We will definitely continue to use them.

On June 5, 2014 I paid this company $1840 for 4 men to work 12 hours to properly pack and load our furniture and household belongings into a Old Dominion truck for cross country transportation. Prior to the move, we did a walk through with
Charlotte Storage Organizers Provider Name Locked
the owner who surveyed our furniture and made a plan to move these things safely. He assured me that his crew was experienced in all types of truck loading and repeatedly used the phrase "licensed, insured and bonded" for this type of work. We discussed the types of
padding, wraping etc. required for a long distance move. He indicated that the moving blankets he sells were too thin and I should collect my own quilts, rugs etc. and make them available to his movers to be used in addition to the packing materials I would purchase from him. On moving day I had a huge pile of quilts, sleeping bags, throw rugs, yoga mats, towels, comforters, pillows etc. in the garage. All 4 packers were aware of these items and what they were for. I also approved the use of any and all packing materials they had on had for sale. Please note we never saw
Charlotte Storage Organizers Provider Name Locked
that moving day. Our house is 3 stories and I am disabled. I could not follow each load to the truck to see how they were stacking it. When the truck was loaded and doors closed, the blankets were gone. One could only assume they'd been used for the intended purpose.
On unloading day in California as the layers of the truck were unpacked, we were shocked to see our furniture stacked haphazardly in the truck, many items rubbing through the thin plastic they'd been wrapped in with no additional padding. The staff unloading the truck asked if we'd used teenagers to pack in
Charlotte Storage Organizers Provider Name Locked
? We called
Charlotte Storage Organizers Provider Name Locked
immediately when it became apparent that we had extensive damage due to the negligent wrapping and loading and began documenting the damage. We also found our packing blankets etc. shoved into bags and boxes and never used to protect the furniture in transit.
Since then they have accused us of refusing to buy proper padding (false) and of not providing moving blankets of our own (false). They also stated that signing the contract at the end of the day indicates we were satisfied with the packing (false). The contract says nothing of the sort. It's just notes the stop time of the work. How could I know what was going on in all 28 feet of the truck? That's why I hired "professional" packers. This was not the same crew that
Charlotte Storage Organizers Provider Name Locked
had sent for a previous move and I didn't feel comfortable with this crew. They just threw things into boxes including dirty dishes with clothes, a treasured baby photo up against books that rubbed through it and the hardware to furniture in random boxes without labels. I just found the screws and legs for our bed in a pantry box 2 weeks after we moved in. we've been sleeping on the floor. My son's camera also went missing. It's not turned up yet.
I have paid $585 for upholstery cleaning of items that came in contact with the truck or boxes and rubbed through the plastic. Some couches were just set on their ends with no protection at all. I have an estimate of $2600 to repair the high end wood furniture
that now has deep gouges or finish completely rubbed off. I have contacted this company numerous times because my contract with them says I have insurance coverage only now they say that the coverage ends when the truck's doors close. They are not insured for damage caused by their negligence. They will not allow me to file an insurance claim. I have sent them retail price documentation, photos of the damage plus receipts/estimates totaling $3185 to clean and repair of the most badly damaged items and gotten no response.
I've filed a complaint with the BBB and NOW the company says they'll have their insurance agent contact me but it's been 3 weeks and I still haven't been contacted. FYI if there is an active complaint with the BBB, it doesn't show up on the company's report until it's resolved. I fear there are many in the pipeline which is why only a few are showing up when you look them up now.

This was an Angie's Big Deal promotion. Once I purchased it, the provider was in contact with me quickly. He came to the house and gave me an estimate for doing my lower cabinets taking into account the Big Deal promo. After accepting his offer, he placed the order. When the order came in he contacted me and scheduled the installation. The installers were on-time and very professional. The installation went very well.
Through all of this, the provide kept me up-to-date. Additionally, both he and the installers were very good at explaining how things worked and how to care for my new shelves.
I would use them again.
