Gas Log Service Reviews in Charlotte

After living in the house for 2 yrs, we decided to turn on the fireplace. The next day we smelled gas in the house.
came the week that I called (very fast response) checked all the connections. He found the problems, cleaned the fireplace and replaced the defective parts that caused the gas leak. There was no mess to clean up. He was very professional and the fireplace works beautifully. I would recommend him to everyone who has a fireplace issue and for regular annual maintenance of your fireplace

and his son came out to do the work themselves. They actually ended up finding out that they could do the work in a way that would impact the walls of the house the least after further investigation. This required his son getting up into our crawl space and we were very thankful that the work turned out to be less complicated and more aesthetically pleasing because they went the extra effort to find a better way.
made it very easy for us with obtaining the proper permit and setting up the inspection. The work was completed in about 2 days time. One day of actual work and then the following day the inspector came out to meet
and the job was done. Overall the process was a lot easier than expected and the lamps look amazing!

Gas Log Service reviews in Charlotte

They put me in touch with a subcontractor who does work for them. We met him out a the new house (under construction) a couple of weeks ago. Very nice guy and we felt comfortable with his ability to do the work. The next meeting was scheduled at our current house so that he could see the mantle we wanted to install. It was delayed by a week because "he was out of town".
The day of the rescheduled meeting, he was supposed to be there between 10-11. At 10:45 I called the store and was told that he was still out of town (there had been a death in the family). I was very upset, but less at the subcontractor than the store. Why didn't they call me? I was told "I just found out myself". Either they lying or they are horrible managers. Regardless, I rescheduled for today ("he will be there first thing in the morning" (9-10)).
It is now 11am. He was a no show and there was no call from the store. I am done with them and I recommend you consider someplace more reliable as well.

I needed to repair a set of gas logs in my home to move forward with the home sale. I called
Charlotte Gas Fireplaces Provider Name Locked
at 6:45 (he closes at 7pm) and he so appreciated the fact I was trying to wrap this up before closing that he offered to come out the next day. He came and did a great job. I decided to have him also check the secod set of gas logs while he was here for my benefit and that of the new homeowners. He cleaned the logs and pilots thoroughly and repalced a bad receiver. It is obvious he loves what he does and is very knowledgeable. He explained everythgin he did. I've already told him I will call him to check the gas logs in the home I about about to purchase. I would highly recommend

is extremely polite and did an excellent job. He called to alert me to his approx arrival time, answered any questions I had, and did a complete safety check of our gas log fireplace. My gas fireplace worked perfect when he was done.

During the installation of the gas log fireplace unit,
Charlotte Gas Fireplaces Provider Name Locked
noticed a slight bit of exhaust fumes. However, when he closed the screen doors, he noticed the exhaust disappeared. It was safe to use with the screen doors in the closed position, but he recommended to have a steel panel be made and installed to mimic the upper depth of the screen enclosure. He ran into problems with his current steel cutter with not getting the job accomplished. He apologized for the delay and promised to make it up to us. He called on 3/12/14 to say he was getting the piece cut and he would return the following day after painting it. He came as promised, made the necessary installation adjustments, and caulked the panel in place. It is beautiful (if that is possible for a functional piece of steel)--by painting the panel it "disappears" into the background and is not an eyesore at all!! We had planned to pay for the plumbing job and the fireplace panel at the time of the panel installation. Since we waited so long,
Charlotte Gas Fireplaces Provider Name Locked
wrote off the panel creation and the first plumbing cost. We just paid for an additional pipe snaking at this visit.

is easy to work with and very nice. He came out to consult with what I needed to do with my fireplace - I hadn't used it in months and didn't know if it needed maintenance. We talked about replacing the logs with vent-free logs and decided this was the way to go. I called him back a day later, during the snow storms, and asked if he could come out and light my pilot . . . he actually walked me through how to do it myself on the phone instead of coming out and charging me. When my gas logs finally arrived in the mail, he came out and installed them. I had bought factory refurbished logs (always on a budget) - when he first lit them, the fire didn't even go above the logs. He called the manufacturer and dealt with a very condescending tech, that ended up telling him to bang on part of the unit with a hammer to free up some pump . . . sure enough, it worked. He was very kind, despite dealing with the rude tech. He even showed me how to clean my unit and told me when I need to call for service, vs when I can take care of the unit myself. He was great! I'd definitely hire him again.

fit me into his schedule during the big winter storm - so if the power went out, we'd be cozy and warm! Calling on
Charlotte Gas Fireplaces Provider Name Locked
is like having St. Nick service your gas logs. He set down his tools and went straight to work. He cleaned and serviced the burner so that the pilot would light, rearranged the logs to allow air to circulate, and added some "burning fluff." He was polite, answered my questions, and told me how to shut down the gas at the end of the fireplace season, and restart in the fall. He also checked for carbon monoxide leaks. Then away he went like the down of a

All went well. This is our second home with a gas fireplace. We have not used either much since they give me a headache. I thought I would try having the unit serviced after living in our current home for one year. Prior to

coming, the switch was not working.
Charlotte Gas Fireplaces Provider Name Locked
arrived and went straight to work, got the unit and fan working. He cleaned and adjusted both the inner and out areas of fireplace. It is spotless, looks almost brand new and we are now enjoying the both the heat and ambiance of our headache either!

I called

mid-morning and within 2 hours he was at my house cleaning and adjusting my gas logs. With wintery weather headed our way in a few days I was concerned about possibly needing alternative heating should we

power. Everything was in good working order about 30 minutes later. I highly recommend
