Flooring Reviews in Charlotte

is an easy guy to work with and very knowledgeable about flooring. We have a 100 year old house with 100 year hardwood floors...
quoted, stuck to his price and completed the job as promised. The crew was very professional, highly skilled and detail orientated. After they refinished the floors they send a professional cleaning crew to clean the entire house!!!! How wonderful is that? Our floors look fantastic its unbelievable what they were able to do .... I will highly recommend
to all my friends and family.

From start to finish, I had a fantastic experience with
. I visited their showroom in Pineville and met
, one of the owners, who was so knowledgeable about the flooring business. I am an extremely detail oriented person, and he answered all of my questions and provided me with the information I needed on the multiple occasions I visited the store.
also worked with me on price to get me into a more comfortable range.
, the other owner, came to my house to take measurements and give me design ideas. He is also fantastic. I felt very comfortable working with
and their whole family-run business. I usually never leave people alone in my house, and for 3 full days, I trusted them to work in my house without me being present. They were extremely professional, punctual, courteous and hard-working, and they took great care of my house. They did a great job cleaning and moving my furniture back into place after they completed the job. One thing I really liked about them was the level of professionalism and customer service they offered. If I needed anything,
was right there on the spot to help with the process. He also laid out the exact plans and how the entire project would flow from start to finish. The quality of the job is excellent. I've been living on my new floors for about 4 months and I love them. I'm so happy I chose
. They warrant their work for 2 years which exceeds most other companies. I needed a small repair to one of the boards, which had a manufacturer's defect, and
to fix the board within a week. Great company, great people, great quality, great service. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I contacted
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
to give me an estimate to install hardwood floors kitchen hallway and bathroom after a terrible tile installation done by another contractor 3 years ago.
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
came out, took measurement and gave several options for doing the work. After much reservations on my part, I agreed to the floating tile method. I was pressed for time and concerned about how the floor would look using this method.
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
assured me that I would be very happy with the work but he did not want to "rush the job". He was aware of the anxiousness on my part but gave me the details of the what , whenand how of the schedule. His guys came in on friday morning at the excat time they said the would.
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
was the lead man on the job and was very professional. He realized that I wanted the eork completed the dame day but he reitterated what
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
indicated. The work was completed by noon the next day. I can say without any hesitation, that
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
and his crew are the best in the business. teh finished product esd of high quality and the workmanship was superb. Here are the word to describe their work: OUTSTANDING, PROFESSIONAL, HIGH QUALITY, TIMELY.

The first appointment with the sales rep went well. Overall, they were very competitive with other providers. However, there was a bit of a wait between the initial sales appointment and installation. Follow up was poor. Regarding the vinyl install, the dishwasher was damaged, but was eventually corrected, but not as quickly as I would have liked. A bit of the quarter round near the dishwasher became detached the next day. This was corrected.
Regarding the carpet install, clean up after the job was very poor. A portion of drywall was knocked off during the install and a bar in the closet fell off and was never replaced. I shared this with the provider, but no corrective action was taken and no follow up. The carpet appears to be shedding (which may be normal) and I am continually stepping on and pulling up tacks.
I was mostly (VERY) disappointed that my credit card was charged for the balance of the job ( I paid 50% deposit) without my authorization. In light of the items that I requested be addressed/corrected, I felt this was poor customer service and VERY unprofessional.
I am not sure if I will use this provider again, although the initial appointment began very positively. The lack of follow up and in particular the charge to my credit card without my authorization were huge negatives.

Cabinets delivered on time, none needed replacing, but they do not install or send out reps to site so make sure your contractor is aware and plans accordingly. Some quality issues on pot drawers have yet to be resolved, but are still in process.

I spend a long time negotiating my project with
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
. I had another offer at the same price, and essentially decided in favor of
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
Flooring because
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
had been very helpful, nice and responsive during our discussions.
The work completed had no major issues but was not entirely what I had envisioned. For example,
- Laminate intsalled in the kitchen had a small scratch.
- Trim used was standard quarter round though I had asked for thinner trim. Installer then provided explanation that thinner trim could not be used because of gap size required between laminate and wall to allow laminate to expand.
- Toilet in guest bathroom was not re-installed after laminate job because an actual plumber was required.
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
took $50 off my invoice for that, though the actual plumber ended up costing me $200 for the toilet + $75 to fix the sink which was leaking.
- Stairs. I dislike my stairs so much that I actually want to re-do them. The stair noses lie on top of the tread plane such that there is an
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
/bump on each stair. That is, the tread depth is made up of 6.5 inches laminate + 2.5 inches elevated nose. Also, each stair nose has 3-4 small dents across its length showing where the nails were put in. The stairs I envisions had a smooth and flat transition between tread and noce, no edges, no dents, just a single smooth surface on each tread.
The stairs probably were a misunderstanding. I could have never imagined that they turn out that way. IF I would have known
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
in THEN I would have made sure to specify in my request for quote.
For the furture, I would also recommend that
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
inform their customers of just how dusty and dirty EVERYTHING will get, Especially since
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
is not covering things up.

They were on time and worked hard to make me happy. The clean up was perfect! Viking was great. They worked really hard to get the color I wanted right. I had a honey oak floor which was very dated. They sanded the floor down and did the stain. The floor didn't get as dark as I wanted, not because anything they did but because of the type of wood I had. The owner actually did my job himself to make this look great. He added stain to the clear coats and even worked on Saturday to finish. Oleg was very responsive and the end result was gorgeous. I highly recommend

I would NOT RECOMMEND this provider to anyone!
I received
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
's name from a contractor that worked on my house, and initially she was extremely responsive and flexible to work with my schedule. She met me at my house to show me samples and we were able to decide on a color. We decided on a date to install and I provided payment as she requested (1/2 up front, 1/2 when complete). Her installer (
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
) did not show up on time to complete the first install, but I was on a tight time frame so I choose to keep working with them - he was able to install and refinish the hardwoods on schedule. However, there was a lack of attention to detail (including hardwood dye on the newly painted walls and trim that was not completed).
Two weeks after install, the newly installed floors buckled up (formed a peak) and I had to call
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
to come back out in December. When she and her installer came out they tried to give me any reason why it was not their fault that it happened - in the end they blamed it on the "glue" manufacturer and chose to reinstall the hardwood floors at no additional cost to me. However, two licensed contractors who saw the floor told me that the installer probably did not let the adhesive glue sit for a long enough period of time before they put the flooring down.
The second time, they installed a floating floor. Her installer and his crew installed at the time I had two other contractors in the house - both of those contractors (separate jobs) called me and told me they were rushing through the job. When I came home, they had destroyed/pulled up all the paint on the baseboards (that I had paid to have painted in those first two weeks after the 1st set of floors were down) and they did not sweep up after themselves when the job was complete.
A month after the floating floor was put down - I started to hear hollow spots in the floor. It has now been 6 months since the floor was put down and those hollow spots have grown. I have had three new contractors come out to the house for other work and I have asked their opinions, they have all said that the floor was not leveled properly before the floating floor was put down - therefore it is going to wear unevenly.
I contacted
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
about this and she chose to state "At
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
's expense, he pulled up all of that wood and provided, with your approval, a new wood that did not require adhesive. It is a floating wood, and I brought you the sample board for color selection. A floating wood IS NOT GLUED DOWN. Therefore, there is no glue. We both explained to you that a floating floor will walk differently than a glued down floor, so perhaps you are feeling the normal "play" or "give" that you find with a floating floor."
She tried to put the blame back on me again for the lack of attention to detail that her crew/installer did.
Again I repeat, do NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

I most of the time do not write reviews, but my wife made me do this one.
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
Charlotte Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
was the only one that answered my initial phone call and came out showed me and my wife his license and insurance out of 3 other potential other contactors. He had a photo album of recent work he has completed and there was no pressure once he left. He sanded our floors with little mess and made them look amazing. He cleaned up every evening and was on time every day. We hired him to finish all are shoe molding work after our floors and did a great job as well. Happy Customers!!

Freedom Restorations took care of all repairs after a pipe burst in our home. Hardwoods and molding were removed and replaced, damaged sheet rock was replaced, and walls/molding repainted.
