Charlotte Electricians Reviews
For such a large company, don't hold your breath for anyone to answer the phone, since it's always on voice mail. They will return your call, to schedule estimates but not to respond to problems.
They claim their Estimate is NOT a contract, yet they used that Estimate to enter my home and begin working. This will end up in Court, so I won't explain everything but make sure you have a Full Contract, with everything spelled out, before you allow them to do any work.
I did ask for extra lights to be installed that weren't on the Estimate but the other work was far more important, than hanging a few light fixtures, which anyone can do.
They quoted 6-1/2 hours but was here less than 5 hrs. and bolted, when I questioned, "Why didn't you know, you couldn't re-wire the ceiling fan/light, when you quoted the work?" With that,
I asked that he not walk in mud, when he went outdoors, to the electrical box. I run a business from home and I was busy working. My schedule was affected, by the power being out, leaving me without internet, so my assistant asked how much longer that power would be affected. Otherwise, I paid no attention to the work being done, until they came into the living room, to work on the ceiling fan/light. They were supposed to re-wire my ceiling fan and light, to they had separate controls, which was on their Estimate. When they came into the living room, they almost allowed the ceiling fan to fall to the floor, it was only supported by exposed wires in the ceiling and the other man caught it, before it fell completely. He then proclaimed, there was only one hot wire and one ground wire, so he couldn't do what he was hired to do. Naturally I was upset but he didn't even give me a
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THESE PEOPLE TO ANYONE, NOT EVEN TO HANG A LIGHT FIXTURE.
I'll be so happy when my regular electrician is back in town.
They gave me a quote for the TV work but told me up front the lighting would be an hourly rate since there was no way to know the full extent of the work.
2 people worked 6 hours to completely work. They seemed to work hard and only needed to leave once to get a few special parts to make repairs.
I wish it hadn't been such a big job, but would use them again. From their reputation they seem to be fair and honest.
seem concerned at all and no one contacted me. I hired another heating repair company. They fix it and it's been good to go ever since. One note, I'd have to go back through my records, but I believe when I purchased the HUD home the A/C heating system was replaced in 2008. The house was built in in 2004. I would never use tis company again ever.
