Chiropractic Reviews in Charlotte

He paid $25 for the xray. They asked for his insurance information which he provided. When he asked if they were going to file with his insurance, the office staff told him they needed to contact his insurance company to first see what it covered before establishing a treatment plan- this was before they had seen the xrays and he had met with the doctor. When he questioned why they just kept repeating that this was how they did it. They kept asking him if he understood, he said he did but it didnt't make sense. That gave him the impression that the type of coverage was dictating the health plan and not patient's health care needs. He decided to go back because he wanted to know the results of the xrays and her prognosis.
When he went back on 6/11 to get the results of the x-
, he was shown a video. Afterwards
told him that he has problems with several vertebrae in his spine but she would not let him see the x-
, stating that he wouldn't understand then anyway! He paid for them but he never got to see them.
She could not tell him how many treatments he may need or what the plan was proceeding forward. An adjustment would cost him $50 but they still had not indicated whether insurance would cover it. (As it turned out, she is not a provider on our insurance.) She told him that he needed to set up another appt. and bring me, his wife to the next appt. so that she could then go over the xrays with us. WHY is this step necessary? Supposedly there were some lifestyle changes that I needed to be aware of.
He began to suspect something fishy, and basically told her he would do some more research on the matter, contact his MD and think about his options and walked out of the office. Based on his experiences, he did not feel they were being completely honest with him or transparent about their practices. I had a shoulder issue last year and my MD was able to show me my x-rays right then and there. Even my vet will share x-rays for my dog but the chirorpactor wont? He just did not have a good feeling about this practice and how they operate. Needless to say he will not be patronizing them, even he does opt for chiropractic care at some point in the future.

I feel blessed to have found Dr.
. He keeps me moving and out of surgery.

Some time ago, I was diagnosed with a ruptured cervical disk and degerataive lumbar disks. And, more recently, I fell and irritated a rotator cuff. Periodically, I try to lift too much or lift unwisely or do something that leaves me hurting with difficulty moving. Dr.
has always turned my back problems around.

Other chiropractors that I have tried, spent only a few minutes with me after a technician applied hot packs or Electronic Nerve Stimulators. Dr.
spends over 15 minutes with me using hot packs, muscle massage and pressure point stimulation, etc. as well as typical chiropractic alignments. He teaches patients good lifting techniques and shows proper ways to exercise different muscle groups. When asked for exercise recommendations, other chiropractors have only handed me a sheet of paper that was difficult to follow.

I first had a therapeutic massage with
Charlotte Chiropractors Provider Name Locked
to see if that could work out the pain. I've only had maybe 3 massages in my life and was anxious but it went great. She listened attentively and was very caring and thorough. Afterwards, I agreed that I should have a consult with Dr
Charlotte Chiropractors Provider Name Locked

Charlotte Chiropractors Provider Name Locked
is the first and only chiropractor I've seen. The initial consult was a one-on-one to discuss my issues and then xrays. Ice therapy while I waited for xrays and then review of xrays and recommendation as well as a first adjustment.

Greatly relieved nothing seriously wrong. He recommended a therapy regime that seemed rationale and within my budget. I am thrilled with the location and office hours - very accommodating and never an issue.

This will be my third week and I'm feeling really good. Have recommended the Sullivans to all my friends and will continue to do so.

Overall my experience with Dr.
Charlotte Chiropractors Provider Name Locked
is remarkable. The

Method is safe and does not over adjust. Find the problem, fix it, and heal. He uses a meter to determine the heat sensitive spots on your spine and you can see charts in his office to see the nerves that can cause the pain or discomfort you are experiencing. He explains fully and in terms you understand. He is very knowledgable, easy to talk with and truly is concerned for his patients. To me and my family, he is a gift from God.

I went to Dr. P a couple times and would have continued to go but the 40 miles round trip was just to far for me to get there during business hours. VERY nice and made my neck feel better, I just needed his office to be closer. One of the best parts besides the pain reflief was the massage. The techs worked wonders!

It was an incredibly enjoyable expereince considering the reason I first visited was for a great deal of pain. Everyone there is so incredibly nice and good at what they do!

I was skeptical about chiropractors but after years of seeing a spine specialist for over a year with no results I decided to try one as a last resort. I tried various muscle relaxers. I had been to physical therapy and I was continuously on and off Advil. Nothing worked. Within a couple of treatments with Dr.
Charlotte Chiropractors Provider Name Locked
I experienced a significant decrease in pain and increase in mobility and range of motion. While I still have back problems I was able to completely eliminate medication and restart physical therapy. The doctors and staff could not be nicer and they are NOT an office that sells you useless treatments, services or supplements. Their only focus is making you better. I can honestly say they gave me back my life because before seeing them I was barely able to get out of bed in the morning. And while I still need surgery to repair the herniated disc, I can function normally with much less pain.

His approach is more of a sports medicine. He tries to build muscle and it more of a whole health kind of thing. He wants you to keep stretching and things like that. He's just a fantastic doctor. he's very personable. Every session, no matter what he's always interested in listening to your comments and making sure he understands your needs and wants. He's good about telling you why he's doing things and whenever he gives you anything to do at home he always follows up. He's very busy because he's so good, you'd definitely want to plan ahead if you're going to get an appointment.

is always on time. so I make a practice of arriving at least five minutes early for my appointments. As prompt as he is, his schedule allows him a good amount of time with me and I have never felt rushed. He takes the time to listen to me and then does an examination. Unlike any chiropractor I have ever seen before, he has an uncanny ability to tell be touch which muscles are tight and what needs adjustment. The adjustments are done in a manner which reminds me of the physical therapy I once had for my back before I found Dr

, with carefully designed, hands on, adjustments. He then takes the time to see how I feel and will do additional treatment if necessary. Even when I feel that I am going in for maintenance only and am not feeling any particular pain, I invariably feel better after treatment. After his adjustments, he takes me to the treatment room, where he has a variety of treatments available including electrical stimulation, which is what I usually have. The treatment is not uncomfortable (but can get a bit cold with the ice pack, which unfortunately is what my back responds to, rather than the heat treatment which is also available) and pleasant, soothing music is always playing in the background. I'm told it is not unusual for patients to fall asleep during treatment.

I have nothing but good things to say about
Charlotte Chiropractors Provider Name Locked
. The process that he uses is very gentle but gets the job done. From sitting for long hours working on a computer I have had a lot of pain in my neck, shoulders, back and hips...when I have flare ups he always manages to get things under control after several treatments.
...More /> About three years ago I developed bad "trigger finger" in both of my thumbs. He said he was not sure that he could help but would see what he could do. Initially he thought I would have to see a surgeon and have surgery. I urged him to try and see what he could do and after about 2 months of treatments the "trigger finger" went away in both of my hands and I have not had trouble since.

I was initially referred to
Charlotte Chiropractors Provider Name Locked
by a friend about 5 years ago. She had been asked to see him by her neurologist and had been very pleased with how Dr.
Charlotte Chiropractors Provider Name Locked
had helped her. This referral was one of the best referrals I have ever had.
