"I called yesterday after I lifted the top of my range top and set off a spark. They had a technician call me within a few minutes of my call and arranged to come out the next day. The technician was very nice and provided good service. The technician ...more saw the Angie's List magnet on my fridge and applied a discount to my bill. They were recommended to me by a friend and I will definitely use this company again as well as let others know about it. "

"My GE dryer was starting to squeak and needed to be looked at before it got worse- which all squeaks eventually do. I called at about 9:30 am and they had someone call me back within 30 minutes. I was amazed that they could fit me in immediately and scheduled them to come out that same afternoon.
As promised I received a call 30 minutes prior ...more to
showing up at my door.
was professional, efficient, and did a good job explaining the reason for the dryer sound and the recommended fix. He let me know the cost of the repair upfront and had the materials on the truck to do it immediately.
even answered some questions I had on maintenance and cleaning for my washer.
The service call cost for
is certainly less than some of the other company-name repair companies and I felt like they really knew what they were doing!
I was very happy to have the problem fixed so quickly and easily. I would definitely use them again. "
's office assistant who made the appointment was very professional and easy to speak with. She took the details of my problem and setup my appointment for the next day with a 3 hour window. She called later the next day to give me a more accurate time to expect
...more arrived and within minutes diagnosed the problem. He had the part on hand, provided me with a very reasonable quote and we went with it! He was done within 30 minutes and my dryer is now working like new. I couldn't have asked for better service! I would highly recommend him! "
"I have a 9 or 10 year range that works perfectly. A bit over 2 weeks ago, a piece of the door came off. the outer shell to be specific. I called around to see about the part and to check out appliance repair people. I came across
and decided to give them a try. When I called them, I knew it would be about 2 weeks before I was ...more able to see them. I made the appointment approximately June 26th, for them to come out
7th. When I called, I explained to them the exact issue I was having. I supplied them with the model and serial numbers, as well as in depth photos as to what the problem was. I explained to the woman on the phone that since the appointment was 2 weeks away, I would be happy to order the parts if they thought I needed it, or do whatever it would take to make sure this repair could be completed at the one appointment. I said, what I don't want is for the repairman to come out, look at the range and say "we need to order a part". She assures me they would be able to take care of it when they came out
Needless to say,
7th comes around and the repairman comes---who is also the owner--and does exactly what I was a afraid of. He comes in--rights down the model and serial number--which he has had for 2 weeks...and says "yep--we need a part--that will take about 10 to 14 days to get"
At that point I tell him how annoyed I am to have wasted my time--when I explicitly told the woman in the office what I needed to be done and would have been more then happy to pre-pay for a part if they needed it.
I guess I hurt the man's feelings...because he immediately got defensive and said that is not that way they do business. I said--well at the very least--that should have been explained to me when I spent 30 mins on the phone with their office going over all the details of the issue and what I needed to be done--instead of an assurance that it would be handled. To waste 2 weeks and now have to wait another 2 weeks was unacceptable and unprofessional. His attitude was the same. I would not let this man clean my toilet, never mind fix any of my appliances. There is something to be said about character and professionalism, this man as neither. Do your self a favor and call just about any other appliance repair person on Angies' list. You'll be happy you did.
As soon as he left, I got on the phone with another appliance repair person and he came out that same afternoon and fixed the issue and for less money then
tried to charge me. Him being as unprofessional as he was, saved me close to $100. I guess that is the silver lining in this whole thing. "
"Professional technician responded immediately to my order. He explained what he found including design elements that contributed to my issue and explained how he repaired it. Because the repair could be completely quickly, there was no additional charge beyond the deal price. Excellent and impressive.
"This was a great experience. The technician was clearly interested in serving the customer well, NOT in taking advantage of the situation in order to charge for costly services that would have been unnecessary and unethical. I felt that the provider had a lot of integrity, and I would recommend to others!
. He was friendly, knowledgeable and had everything on his truck for the repairs of both appliances. He is a great communicator and arrived when he said he would after I requested he call first. He was in and out in 30 minutes and everything is working great now. He is definitely going to be our service tech ...more for any future repairs needed! "
"The service technician arrived on schedule. I explained that the refrigerator had stopped cooling (freezer and refrigerator). I described other observations. As we were standing there we both could hear a clicking sound coming from the rear of the unit. The tech knew right away that the sound was an indication of a bad relay. He had a replacement ...more unit on the truck. He replaced the relay kit and explained that it may take 12 to 24 hours for the refrigerator to return to operating temperature. He was correct. The next morning I measured the temperatures inside and observed -6 degrees in the freezer and 35 degrees in the refrigerator. Well within specs. Good job! "
"Turns out it was a design flaw on the Frigidaire model refrigerator where the cold air actually freezes up the water tubing which is coiled up in the back of the refrigerator. The repairman simply covered the air duct with aluminum tape (this was evidently what the manufacturer states is the work around). There is still another air duct pumping cold ...more air into the refrigerator. Now, we are just waiting on the water to (slowly) thaw out and resume working again. "
