"The service was great. They said they would check the issue and would call back with a quote. Even though had two cars in front of me they were relatively quick." The price was affordable too. I definitely would recommend this for anybody who has an exhaust issue.

"i would highly recommend - the son now runs and owns the business. And his father is retired." Muffler has a lifetime warranty.

Muffler Repair reviews in Toronto

They did an extremely good job and were able to install the new Cadillac Converter for a great price. My husband also asked about replacing the muffler, which is showing some age. They were honest and told him that the muffler was in good shape and didn't really need to replaced. Honest and great shop all around!

I was quoted a price of approximately $750 for replacement of the catalytic converter by the local Chrysler dealership. They wanted $655 for the part and an hour of labor at approximately $95. I refused the repair and looked on-line for the real price for the part. It was available for $275 from a major on-line retailer that sells all sorts of things, ...More including car parts. The part was ordered on-line, saving me approximately $380. I did not want to attempt installation by myself due to health issues, so I called at 3915 Oil Jacksboro Highway, Wichita Falls, TX 76302. I was a little nervous about bringing my own replacement part. When I explained what I wanted to do, I was pleasantly surprised by them quoting me a flat replacement price of $50 for labor only. I was also pleasantly surprised to find that they were an authorized Magnaflow distributor. This was the brand name for the catalytic converter that I purchased. They had factory technical support if it was necessary. The staff was very courteous. I dropped the mini-van at noon and it was ready for pick-up about three hours later. Check out was quick and easy. They allowed me to keep it parked outside the business until after-hours when my spouse was available to help me retrieve the vehicle. I could not be more pleased !!!

I have been going to this particular location for most, if not all, of my car care needs for some time now. I trust them very much and I have found that they don't try to talk down to me (as often happens when you are a female customer). They rarely if ever come up with unusual and costly things that might be wrong with my car. I have had that ...More experience at other mechanic repair shops. When I take my car in, they then will call me and we can go over in detail what the needs might be in the moment . . . how much various things cost, any help they can give me to cover the cost (coupons, increasing my credit limit, etc.), which things can wait for a later date and which things should be prioritized. They are very, very personable and caring there. As a 63 year old disabled individual I find them very accessible and they conduct themselves with common courtesy . . . such as walking quickly to open the door as they see that I am struggling a bit since I'm on crutches (believe it or not, at many mechanic shops they will just watch you struggling and won't move to help). Little things like that are so greatly appreciated. The mechanics and the shop manager are all competent and experienced and yet young and enthusiastic . . . very valuable traits. Typically, they will give me a ride home in their garage van. This is quite helpful as I have a hard time sitting up. Recently, I chose to wait in the waiting area as the service I needed was not expected to take long. I must say that their waiting area was clean, with plenty of varied reading materials neatly displayed, and the chairs were quite comfortable. Not bad at all, if you need to wait there. They have also in the past been glad to drive me to a nearby restaurant - rather than to my home. They are familiar with the fact that many people are holding on to their older cars these days, especially if they have a good quality car (mine is 2000 Toyota Camry). They will work closely with you - according to your budget and needs - to help you decide which things really need to be done. For example, the plastic door handle (driver side) cracked and broke recently and I was making do by rolling down the window each time and opening from the outside. Recently, I had some serious & expensive mechanical work that needed to be done (Harmonic Balancer, Timing Belt, and more). At the same time, they were going to possibly give me an estimate on the door handle. They ended up not doing the estimate yet, but the shop manager (who is also a mechanic) ended up figuring out and then showing me a way that I could still open the door from the inside! The door handle repair is now on the back burner . . . definitely going back to for that. Which, by the way, I might add, they are also very good with repairs that do not have to do totally with the running of the car. They repaired a window for me a while back (the window would not stay up or go up) . . . as usual they did an excellent job I highly recommend on Tunnel Road!

Being new in town, I was more than a bit nervous finding a place to get my car taken care of. I went to a different place to get the front brakes fixed at the recommendation of a guy where we bought tires and was not pleased. After an internet , I decided to take a on 's. ...More Not only was the service done quickly (faster than I expected), but the cost was about a third of what the first place wanted. Also, the first place wanted to replace both rear calipers, but managed to unstick them by doing a bit more work, saving me about $500! I will be going back for ALL of my car care needs in the future and would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing maintenance done on their car. They were honest with me, fast, friendly, and an actual GOOD experience!

They could have acted like jerks and said I needed to replace the whole thing but they were totally cool with me just wanting to fix one part of it for now. I am definitely going to return for future service when my car needs it. Would definitely recommend this garage to anyone looking for service in . They're fair and easy to work with.

Came in on Thurs. 09/24/15 without appt. They said they were booked up today, but if I left car there they would check asap but would call and give cost before doing work. They called me Friday morning at 9am and had it done by 1030 that morning.

My daughter is living in the Covina, Ca. area going to college. Recently her 2003 Buick Century has had warning lights come on, (service engine soon, ABS, and service vehicle soon), in that order. Now as a parent not living in the area, I was leery about where to take her car for service. I personally have my own mechanic shop in my area that ...More I have been going to for over 25 yrs. So I know a good, honest mechanic when I experience one. That said. I looked at good reviews for a brake specialist in the Covina area. I found & Brakes. Glad I gave them a try. These people did a diagnostic and got back to me within a couple hours. and his team found a couple of frayed wires that were causing the (ABS & service vehicle soon) lights to come on, and repaired that issue. A crooked shop could have easily turned that into a costly venture. The “service engine soon” light turned out to be a fouling catalytic converter, understandable, for the age of the car. I had that replaced at a very reasonable price. Thanks & Breaks for putting two parents with a student away from home at ease.

Very pleased with my experience. listened to my concerns (old car, high miles, keep costs down) and was able to make the repair affordable and same-day. After taking a look, he called to explain what needed to be done, gave an estimate and that it would be ready by the end of the day. I've been looking for an honest, ...More realistic shop and now that I've found one, will be my go-to place for car repair. It's really great to not have to use ear plugs while driving now! Thank you!
