It's taken almost 6 months to get this wheelchair. I've been stuck with them. After not getting calls returned for months, I finally got one.
I was supposed to have a removable cushion so I can get different ones as my spine worsens. They didn't tell me that, though - I found out on my own. They screwed up the sizing too. The seat was rocking back and forth, too, which is not what it was supposed to do. They said it was normal, though. I also asked them to adjust my seat, and the guy was beating on it and fighting with it to do so. It still rocked after that. A friend who builds cars looked at it and said the screws were loose. He said if I'd let that go, the whole thing would have fallen apart. Some of the screws had mud in them too.
We went to adjust the chair and make it higher. There were a bunch of sharp edges under it and my hand flew up as we worked and sliced up my hand. It bled terribly. I had to go to the ER from the gash. It had to be treated as a wound because they were concerned about infection.
After two weeks, someone was finally available to help and I finally got the company to come out to adjust my chair higher. Almost every screw was loose and I told them about that. They told me that they'd have to order a part for it. I also asked him to take the back pin off to see the battery. This guy lied and said he didn't know how. It was just him being lazy because you have to tug hard to do it. I started to
They said they sent the complete chair out and didn't put it together. I checked with the manufacturer and they confirmed that. So I'm
They also didn't give me a charge receipt I can use for taxes. They didn't charge my card before the end of the year either, since the driver didn't put the expiration date. This also means I can't change insurance companies this year. They have never given me a breakdown of my bill, either. This whole thing has been an absolute mess.”
