"
explained each step of the process as he went progressed. This was not a
job as the tile is glazed porcelain, but" there was not a crack or mar on tile. Both
and his assistant are professional, courteous, informative and pleasant. I would recommend them to any one; very pleasant gentlemen who get the job done quickly and professionally and reasonably.

"In January, 2015, my husband began to have difficulty climbing into the bathtub. We decided to convert the tub to a walk-in shower. I sought estimates from 4 contractors" and was ready to engage one when I found
& Kitchen Remodeling. Adem came and assessed our needs and shared pictures of work they had completed. The bathrooms were designed around the needs of handicap people who wish to remain independent. The bathrooms were not only functional they were also beautiful. The grab bars are functional and gorgeous.By the time we decided on the work, my husband had to have back surgery in February. Adem had his team to begin work while my husband was in rehab. Adem had his team
by Calicio to begin the next week. Calicio and his team were polite, professional, meticulous and extremely clean. Each evening they cleaned and vacuumed the areas affected. Once the bathroom was gutted, they found problems with the pipes. Since this required an increase in the estimated cost, Adem agreed to split the additional cost with us. Unfortunately,as we began to enjoy our beautiful bathroom and shower we began to see water damage to the living room ceiling. Fortunately, Adem came immediately. Adem arranged for Calicio and his team to return the next day. They found the leak by going through the living room ceiling. They found the leak, repaired it and put in a new living room ceiling at no charge to us.Yes, I will most definitely use Globe again without reservation.

Dear Angie: Where can I get professional advice about making our home accessible for the disabled? We need a ramp with a railing so someone can get from the street to our front door. — Sidney L., Silver Spring, Maryland

To move or not to move? That’s a question many families struggle with when they realize their home isn’t practical for an aging or disabled family member.

Even if someone is completely immobile, they are usually accompanied by caretakers who can work just fine with a standard stair lift. (Photo courtesy of Angie's List member Marianna R. of Washington)

Not only were they creative and outstanding at the time of the remodel, they have been responsive and fixed a problem that arose 2 years later--all within a week of the request...and the job was excellent! Highly recommended.

Working with this awesome group of professionals to help our family install a
Boston Handicap Equipment Stores Provider Name Locked
stair lift has truly been one of those dream remodel experiences.
Boston Handicap Equipment Stores Provider Name Locked
, co-owner of
Boston Handicap Equipment Stores Provider Name Locked
, met with us to evaluate the layout of our staircase and presented information on various models of stair lifts. We were immediately drawn to his attention to detail, customer focus, and chipper attitude. He listened to our needs without trying to rush the appointment or push us into making any rash decisions. His account manager followed up with equal enthusiasm and both individuals were involved in active communication via phone and email. I liked the fact that all his team members always seem to be in sync, so no matter whom I spoke to had a clear understanding of our project and specific requirements/needs. We were also thrilled that they have some stair lifts set up in their warehouse allowing us the opportunity for a "test ride" before finalizing decisions. Actual Installation only took 2 -3 hours and the technicians made certain we were comfortable with basic operation of lift and had questions/concerns answered before leaving.
Boston Handicap Equipment Stores Provider Name Locked
clearly has passion for what he does and understands the difference his products makes for individuals with mobility challenges. We feel reassured that, in the event, there's a product issue or question, someone from
Boston Handicap Equipment Stores Provider Name Locked
will be readily available to resolve.

Delivered wheelchair, took it out of the van and put it down. When my husband went find out whether it would go through the gate they had taken off already and we hadn't even signed for the delivery. The chair did not make a right turn it jerked and swung left. I was on the phone once a week to get them back but they never came. After I worked it out with the credit card company, the company called and said they would send a technician out but I told them no and that I was going to throw the chair out. They finally came and got it out of my house.

They were able to offer at least two brands to choose from,
Boston Handicap Equipment Stores Provider Name Locked
and
Harmar. I chose the Harmar since it doesn't require the use of
petroleum-based lubricants every servicing. It was more expensive but
has performed well. Recently (June 2015), the battery ran low and the
lift wouldn't run. This is the disadvantage to this brand, they said.
The batteries run out sooner. I called
Boston Handicap Equipment Stores Provider Name Locked
and they came quckly and
installed new batteries. Great installation and great service.

Came the next day after I called. Presented options and pros and cons of each brand. Committed to do the job on a handshake with no paperwork and no money down! Two days later it was ready and installed. We received a thorough orientation to the machinery and were told that help was available 24/7. My husband's physical therapist was very impressed....More />
