Gastroenterology reviews in Boston

Very good. Excellent. Very nice and caring. She spends time with you, which some doctors tend not to do. The office runs very well. Once in a while there's a wait if someone comes in with an emergency, but mainly I haven't had to wait at all. The staff is fine. There's big turnover at hospitals but the woman who answers her phones has been there for a while.

Dr. Cheifetz is knowledgable and takes his time with patients during your visit. However, communicating with him outside of an office visit is very difficult. Furthermore, he does not participate in

Hospital's PatientSite online medical records system which further diminishes communication involving tests and email contact with him.

There is no one story - she is simply an outstanding physician. She is quick, when necessary, to consult with other physicians or refer you to others. She is very approachable - will take time to explain things so you understand. Shortly after SHE discovered

's Esophagus I happened to be with a top oncologist from another medical group. I mentioned what I had, and he instantly recommended EXACTLY the same course of action Dr.

did. She seems very talented in so many ways, including her use - but not overuse- of drugs. She seems able to select the right one for the job, and will also tell you when drug treatment is not needed. A nicer person can not be found.

I went to the ER with severe abdominal pain and was evaluated for possible appendicitis. It was unclear whether or not surgery would be necessary so I was admitted and kept 3 days for observation. For the first two days, I was given no food or drink and the pain resolved itself. On the third day they tried me on food and there were no problems so I was released. Because this was all covered by insurance, I paid nothing.
