Initially, he quoted me a price of $100 for the cleaning. Then, when it was time to pay the bill, he said it would be $144. I questioned the change in pricing. He said that he based the cost on an 8 x 10 rug rather than the 9 x 12 size. I paid him the initial quote."

"This is an old world family run operation. They know their stuff. If you bring in your rugs yourself there is a 25% discount and the experience is well worth it. They'll

them out and price the cleaning and then give a preliminary repair recommendation -- then after they clean them they will call to discuss price and extent of repairs. They can do magic! But the added plus is, if you ask they will tell you their best educated guess about the rugs age, condition, etc. The one warning is that they can be slow..."
