I called to get an estimate on the phone. The person was able to give me a quote base on my description (just

a bath tub). The scheduling was easy as well, she gave the earliest available time slot which was three business days later. The person came on time and was courteous. I asked some questions about the process and additional work to the bathroom. He answered my questions and gave me a rough estimate of other work for my reference. The work was finished in time and the result has been satisfactory so far (it's been few months since it was refinished). The only weird part was that he left the house for 30-minute while waiting for the 1st coat to dry (that's my guess) without telling me. So I was wondering what happened to the person and the work. He finally came back and finished the job. It would have been nice if he told he would be away.. just so I wasn't left wondering what's going on. But overall a good experience.

Shoddy installation, late, rude, and disrespectful of client's time.
After determining that my out of date rental property bathroom needed a
facelift, I decided to investigate my options. The awful reviews of Bath
Fitters and its Home Depot equivalents scared me sufficiently to start digging
more. The lack of bad reviews (at least any I could find) for

Liners warranted a call. This was my first mistake. T
The slick sales followed—we agreed on what I thought was a fair price
(“premium” bath liner and shower surround for $2900 installed, and “guaranteed
for life.”) Since this is a rental unit, the delivery and installation window
was very limited, and I made this clear from the outset. I was told that the
install date would be within 2-3 weeks of ordering, and unfortunately the onus
was left on me to chase people down to get an install date on the calendar. We
finally agreed on a date, I made arrangements to be late for work—when the
installer didn’t show up as scheduled, I called and was told that the
appointment was for the following day. I know for a FACT that was not the case,
as I had an important meeting scheduled for that day, but I gave them the
benefit of doubt, and agreed for an install on the following day (between 8am
and 9am).
As someone who is always respectful of others time, I arrived at the unit at
7:45am, and waited patiently. At 8:30 am, I received a call from the installer
who told me he would be there at 10am. One hour late. Actually, one day and one
hour late. I called the president of the company, who decided that raising his
voice at me was the appropriate response. I ultimately adjusted my schedule,
and waited for the late installer to arrive. I came back at around 6pm to drop
off the final check, and was disappointed by the half-assed clean up job. It
took about 30 minutes of work on my part to clean the silicone dust all over
the floors and walls. I decided to let that go.
What was totally unacceptable, however, was the quality of the install itself,
which was shoddy. The soap dish appeared to be half finished, and was sagging
precariously. The soap dispenser the company had agreed to install was poorly
installed, and as a result, collapsed into the tub, breaking and causing a
bigger mess. I called, and was told someone would be there at 9am the following
Saturday morning. 9am to me means 9am, so I was somewhat irritated to get a
text message from the president of the company at 8:59am, saying “installer will
be there at 9:30.” I called and explained how unprofessional and disrespectful
of my time that was, but he didn’t really care. In fact, he suggested that I
not do business with him again, and then hung up on me. And yes, this is the
owner of the company. And he does not have to worry about me doing business
with him again.
Ultimately, it took me four separate days to get this installed to the promised
specifications. The entire experience was awful. The shoddy quality of the soap
dish installation calls into question the overall install—my biggest concern is
that these bozos won’t be in business a year from now. I don't know how they
can, with a President who thinks that hanging up on clients is good business
development, and an installer who can't show up on time...ever.

They refinished my tub around 2005 and they had quoted me $300. 2 guys showed up and had to strip some old tub paint off first so they told me it would add $100. They stripped everything and painted it fine- but in only 4 months, the paint started chipping. Within a few years, most of my tub had nicks and large chips missing.

Everyone with whom I dealt was great! We had to cancel our first appointment and reschedule, but they were very nice about it. The office mailed us a confirmation along with good instructions for what would happen the day of the work. They also give a reminder call & answered questions I had. Both of the men who came to our house (one to reglaze and one to do the caulking) arrived on time and performed the work within the time frame that they. They were very courteous and considerate and made sure to explain to me exactly what they were going to do. We have a baby in the house, and they really were nice about trying to minimize the impact on her. The man who did the caulking even thought to tell me that when the baby is old enough to bathe in the tub, to be sure to put a towel down in the tub for her to sit on because the non-slip surface would be uncomfortable for her little butt. They did a great job and our tub looks fantastic! This is a wonderful company.

We'd originally scheduled the appointment for 1-1/2 weeks later, but as I stated to the scheduler--time was of the essence. Our new tenants wanted to move within the next 2 weeks. They put us on a cancellation waitlist. The job was going to take a full day, so we had to wait it out. Luckily, they called us back the very next day with a cancellation! The worker came, told my husband what he was going to do and got the job done fast. It looks great--the smell (that they warned us about) wasn't that bad, the cost was reasonable--especially considering the turn-around on the service! We couldn't have asked for anything better! The new tenants will move in at week's end and the smell has practically dissipated. Would highly recommend these good folks to anyone!

Very helpful with scheduling both visits. Coating had some grit in it so it was buffed out the second visit. Tub is in rental unit so nonskid surface was required (good idea anyway). Workman was prompt and neat. Refinishing price is $325 and re-caulking and nonskid application is $70 more. Good directions for care of new surface.

It came out great and looked like a new shower. They left no mess and since the screen could not be removed he positioned the fan far enough away so the paint did not show up as a ring on the screen later. Very professional and quick service.

The initial appointment was canceled because of scheduling issues from the company side. I was given a window of 1-2pm and the person showed up at 210pm. The person who quoted the job was knowledgable about the product but it was not the quality of product we were looking for. It just wasn't the kind of bathroom we were looking for.

They did a great job with a challenging situation since the old glaze was poor quality and difficult to properly remove and sand down.
The only things that I was a little disappointed about were that there were a few spots were the new glaze seemed to have little divets and also when the worker left he must have ripped a hole in the trash bag and he dragged the white paint dust from the sanding all over the carpet stairs in our apartment building, all five flights:( I guess I could have called back and asked them to clean it, but since he had already left it seemed silly to have them come back just to clean the stairs. I was just hoping from a professionalism standpoint he would have checked and made sure that he had cleaned up after himself.
But the tub looks great and the guy was really nice and helpful even though he left a mess in the stairwell.
