I opted for the deodorant/disinfectant because we purchased an existing home were the owner previously had cats and opted for the scotchgard because we have boys and dogs in our home. The service provided wasn't a deep steam clean where water is flushed in to and sucked out of the carpet/upholstery, but a top only carpet/upholstery scrubbing. I can't remember if the salesperson mentioned this on the phone call, but I was surprised to learn this when the workers arrived. The sales person promised the areas where the carpet meets the baseboard would be cleaned and the baseboards would be wiped down. The workers were pleasant and worked quickly, but completed the promised baseboard cleaning sporadically. They also left behind tools and a shirt, which I have made two attempts to return but still remain over a month later.
