told that it would be minimum of $450 for them to get into the transmission to further diagnose, but could be applied to the repair. Gave the go ahead (reluctantly) after being told I would have the car back by Friday afternoon (repaired). Called on Friday and was told a part was on order. They said that if it came in, it would be available to pick up Friday afternoon or Saturday. According to the manager, the part did not come in until the following Tuesday. Car would be ready Wednesday. Called on Wednesday, they were waiting on another part. Long story short, got the car back on Friday, about 10 days after they got it for the repairs (not 2 days as promised). Original estimate was $2000 +/-. Final price was around $2375. I asked for them to pay for a portion of my rental car expense since part of the reason I used them was because of the quick turn around I was quoted. He said he could use a coupon for $100 or $200. When I picked up the car, he was only able to give a $100 discount. So, in summary; it took 5 times as long as he estimated and cost about 20 % more than is verbal estimate.
