Their assistance with the planning, choice of materials, and their advice as we proceeded was first rate in every way. "On all the projects the company has performed well; the owner is very experienced and is often able to give good advice on a project during the design phase. The workmanship is generally of high quality; the employees are all very polite and over a long project have become part of the family. One of the most important things about is the fact that they stand by their work and will always come back and check on anything that they have done, even if it is years later. The costs are generally a little higher than competitors, but the quality is worth it. Another reason the cost was sometimes higher than the estimate was because we changed a number of things as we went along. We were made aware by the contractor that there would be an added cost for changes. We have been very satisfied with the work by this company."

"They refused to acknowledge that there was anything wrong with the work. I don't think the crew is that professional or talented. The first job they did I was very pleased. They helped me gut the kitchen. They helped me replace sheetrock on one wall. They are not finished carpenters. I would not trust them with all areas of construction."

"This small guest bath is now the most perfect room in the house. Even the pipes (now of course) are beautiful in their symmetry. I am not kidding. We have done demolition on other parts of the house that uncovered sloppy work----extra wire, -rigged plumbing and carpentry, debris-crammed walls. Nothing like that in this bathroom. It's one of the few renovation projects I've ever undertaken about which I have no regrets. It was quite expensive, but we really did get what we paid for. The IB crew is excellent: hardworking, careful and personable. One of the reason we chose IB over (less pricey) bids was because we now have a child and the crew would be in the house for several weeks, Our toddler was interested in the whole process and the IB crew cheerfully engaged/tolerated him. Their kindness was an added bonus---fundamentally, we knew we could trust them around our house, our belongings, our child."

"We fired him because he was not on time, the work was not good, and he was not financially secure. He didn't pay the people working for him, according to his workers. We purchased all of the materials. The price was just for the work."

"We contacted and he told us the steps and the cost at each step. Fifteen hundred dollars for design plans, which would have included help with shopping for appliances, grante counter top, etc. Kind of expensive plans maybe, but we were told up front, so I have not complaints. The whole job of moving walls, appliances, counter tops, etc., estimated out at $50k. We decided not to spend the money for now."

"They did a good job. All five of the people I dealt with were good fellows and dealing with them was pleasant. They showed up when expected and completed the work in the time frame they said. They came back and fixed one deficiency promptly."

However, he soon became distracted by other jobs, the quality of his work suffered, and in the end never finished the job he was hired to do. He left us with a kitchen that barely functioned and a monumental amount of work to be finished right before move-in day. As an added bonus, he never called to let us know that he wasn't coming back."

" was extremely easy to deal with from beginning to end. I had no problem reaching them if I had any questions. They kept me informed during the whole process, and they seemed genuinely concerned that I be happy with their work. They arrived on time, and everyone was very friendly. My front stoop and new door unit have been the talk of the neighborhood, and everyone says that the additions change the look of my house. Several people have requested the name of my contractor, which I was happy to give them. When I changed my mind about a color for my front flashing, they repainted it without complaint. I would have no hesitation about calling them again for additional work."
