"I emailed and responded within an hour or two. He gave me several appointment options. On the appointed day, he called to say he would be early. He listened carefully, asked appropriate questions, and gave me estimates for the labor. He was prompt and polite. Based upon the estimate, we decided to put these projects on hold in favor of doing other projects. I would contact again."

"I second (and third, fourth and fifth) the reviews detailing 's pricing scheme. its a bit of a hard sell. One initial price, a lower price for "Angie's List customers", and a third still-lower "right now" price.
However, the "right now" price was decent. Of the 3 estimates I got, it was right in the middle, and the quality of the product was good. He also showed up on time for the initial meeting (the only contractor to do so!) and gave a good demonstration of the various products, had good reviews here on the list for window work, so despite my annoyance with the hard sell, I decided to go with him.
His crews were very professional and hard working. They came out to measure, and when they installed the windows they finished the job in a day and cleaned up after themselves both outside and inside.
I gave a "C" for punctuality because the windows were installed about 2 weeks after the date on the contract - said there was a problem at the warehouse. My schedule is flexible so it wasn't a big deal for me. The only other thing is that the caulking job was a little sloppy cosmetically in one or two places, but that likely happens with any job - its a minor thing.
followed up with a phone call afterward to make sure we were satisfied.
I'd use again, and have recommended him to one or 2 others - for the price and quality, it was a good deal."

"Estimator arrived exactly on time for the appointment. We inspected the windows together. He pointed out what would be done and where, came inside, and gave me a written estimate. I wrote him a check right there for a third of the job. His guys came on the appointed day and did the work with no problems in one day. "

" came to give us an estimate and gave us a detailed explanation of the different types of windows that are available, as well as the pros/cons of each. We chose this company because it seemed like he offered a good quality product for a reasonable price. The windows were delivered in a timely fashion and the installation went very smoothly. The workers were very careful and did a great job with the finishing touches. They installed 13 windows in one, long day! we've had 2 incidents since, both of which were handled very efficiently. One of the windows spontaneously cracked, presumably from shifting of the house, and the company was very responsive about getting it fixed. When we had another window broken by a burglar, they were also very quick to get a new window sent to us within a week so we could replace it ourselves. Very happy with their service."

"We have a slate roof and copper gutters that were damaged badly in February. The slate tiles had snowguards attached, which were dragged down by the 38" of snow, taking over 80 tiles and the gutters down with them. We were away for much of March so we waited awhile to file a claim.
came out last month and gave us a prompt estimate which was significantly more than the insurance company first estimated. As it turns out, the insurance company came out in the rain and didn't get a good look at the damage. dealt directly with the insurance company, who quickly agreed to his price. After they agreed he ordered the parts and was out within a couple weeks working on the roof.
I can't say enough good things about . He does beautiful work - the roof and gutters look better than ever. He really went over and above the call of duty. For example, he moved existing tiles around to make the color pattern seem more uniform. He repaired a long length of rotted fascia board for free. He went back and rewelded a piece of the copper gutter because he didn't like the color of the original weld! I never would have noticed that - not in a million years.
He treats the house as if its his own. In fact, the work spanned a weekend so he came over early Sunday morning and took down the ladders and scaffolding so we wouldn't have to look at it all day. Wow. I was so happy I've already arranged for him to build a deck on the back of the house this summer."
