"We called B Dry to request service on our sump pump which is not working properly. B Dry did the waterproofing and installed this pump about 10 years ago. We also wanted to add a battery backup to the system. The reps answering the phones were very pleasant and helpful, took the info and said it would be passed on to the operations manager who would call. This is when things went down hill. When the operations manager called we were told they did not service sump pumps (wondering why not if waterproofing is their business and they installed the equipment) and they had a set cost for battery backups ($1,295 without even coming to our home to look at what we had or check if the pump was functioning properly).
We are very disappointed that B Dry does not stand by their products and their work and will be using a plumber to do the work."

"We had a terrible flooding problem in our basement, which had been going on since we moved in last year. After suffering through one company?s attempt to ?hard sell? me (three visits and 12 phone calls, yikes!), 
was the complete opposite--no pressure, just the facts, and he was extremely easy to deal with. I hired him because he was recommended by someone we trust, his estimate was fair, and because he did not try to pressure us.
We had the bad luck of scheduling work that was delayed by three weeks of snow, but was great about staying in touch and being flexible with rescheduling the work.
The workers came over on time (7:30 a.m.), and installed a French drain and sump pump. They were quick and efficient and did their work well. The whole operation took 6 hours, and they were out by mid-afternoon.
It is a month later now, and I can say that the drainage system is working and our basement is finally dry. I would highly recommend to anyone with basement flooding issues!"

"The folks at were really great. they came out for the estimate the day I called. I work not far from home so they called about a 1/2 hour before he could meet me there. He returned the estimate within a few days. I was not really in a hurry for the install so scheduling wasn't an issue. I was given an 8-12noon window on the scheduled day. He showed up at 830am, went to work and was finished and cleaned up in a little over 2 hours. He even tightened up the pvc tubing for the main pump and cut the well cover so it fits. Now everything looks as nice and tidy as possible for such a contraption."

"On the morning the work was to be done, the people from Guardian came and began breaking up the concrete to put in the pipe to the pump. A while later, the people came who were going to remove the oil tank. They drained it and cut it in half in order to take it out the back basement door. Then the Guardian people continued their work and were finished the same day. (I was a bit concerned about the amount of fine dust that was in the gravel they surrounded the pipe with. I was worried it might clog the openings to the pipe. They told me it would wash away with the first heavy rain. This work was done about a year and a half ago and everything has been working fine.) They picked up when they left, so that the basement was as clean as could reasonably expected, considering the amount of work that had just gone on. The only hitch was that they couldn t get in contact with the electrician right away, I think he was out of town or something, but he came the next week and put an outlet in for the pump."

" Hall did our kitchen 3 years ago and I had no reservations about calling them again. I don't even bother getting estimates anymore. I don't want the cheapest contractor, I want the best. These guys stand by their work and will come out to fix things even a year after the job was completed. And they are willing to go an extra step if necessary. They've even come out on weekends to get a job done."

He responded promptly to our inquiry with a detailed and accurate written fixed-price proposal. For our sump pump installation, we wanted a special water-driven backup pump to supplement the electric pump. knew exactly what we were talking about and it was supplied and installed correctly. Same for the water filter and the hydronic pressure valve installations. He seems to be cognizant of current products and trends in his trade, whereas most plumbers neither know nor care.
