"I took my dog for an emergency appointment. I wasn’t impressed with the staff. They overcharged me for lab tests (provided me with a refund for the overcharge), and never called me with the lab results. It was a hassle to get these results. Other friends feel they have been overcharged for their services and I probably wouldn't use them again in the future."

"The staff showed their true colors during Big Kitty's last week. From my conversation with Dr. Gounaris about his quality of / and life expectancy, to the staff member who answered my questions about the options for his remains, to the way we were treated on his last visit and when I picked up his remains... I was treated with much compassion and care. =^. .^="

"They are very thorough. Bill is the main vet that I use. He gives excellent care from when they are puppies to geriatric. He is an excellent diagnostician. He doesn?t do a lot of expensive testing just to do it. He doesn?t over medicate."

"They were wonderful. They even sent me a condolence card. They were very good. I have used them for years. They have been good with animals. The vets seem to be on the top of their game. They were very communicative. They called me at the house to keep me updated."

"We were called the next day and told that our cat had an enlarged spleen but would probably not survive surgery to remove it, so we made the painful decision to have him put to sleep.
We were on our way there when we received a call that he had passed away.
We were in shock, but an even bigger shock awaited us when we saw the bill. $2500 for care of less than 24 hours!
We will never take an animal there again!"

"I started going to the in 1979. Overall, the staff stinks. The one good thing about the place is that they will work you in, if there is a problem. I lost my best friend. She was everything to me and my husband, nothing could replace her. I told Dr. Shortall I would return when "pigs fly", and that's the truth."

"The veterinarians are quite good, but one of their receptionists is just dreadful. She is rude. She is dismissive. It seems as if she intentionally does not do the thing that one asks her to do. I called three times asking to have my dog's meds ready and waiting at the front desk so that I could pick them up quickly. When I arrived at the office the young woman had to go and get them and asked what size I needed. My first call was two days in advance. My third call was five minutes before I arrived at the office.

"I wish there was an A+++ rating to give!
After adopting a year-old bunny that our niece's family could no longer care for, we were looking for a vet with a special interest in rabbit care, since the very unique needs of rabbits aren't always understood in general veterinary practices. After looking at the website, we decided to go with Dr. , and now we'll never go back.
Though we had done extensive internet research on rabbit care, feeding, and health during our first week as new rabbit owners, we still learned a lot from Dr. . He reviewed every detail of our bunny care, from feeding, litterbox training, and bunny proofing, to brands of products that can and can't be used for rabbits. He let us know what medical problems to watch for and showed us the ways that bunnies like to be calmed, petted, and (if necessary) picked up/carried. He also showed us how to clip our bunny's nails.
Dr. 's extensive experience with rabbits--and his genuine appreciation of and affection for them--were very evident. He truly treated our rabbit as if it were his own. By employing the techniques that Dr. had demonstrated during our checkup, our interactions with our bunny became much more meaningful. Suddenly we felt like we had a real connection to our bunny, and really understood how to make him happy. He now enjoys our companionship more than ever!
Event though we have to drive from Batlimore City to , we will never take our bunny anywhere else, and we are definitely taking him back to be neutered at Lakeside. The facility is wonderful, and their knowledge, experience, and compassion relating to rabbits is top notch. I would recommend Dr. to any rabbit owner!"

"When Minou and I arrived at the vet, we were met by a very friendly staff, who quickly checked us in. Within about five minutes, a tech took us into an exam room and went through the usual preliminary routine. The tech was friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. came in a few minutes later and spent a long time examining the cat. She was able to discuss at length dental problems another vet had written off as "bad teeth," and spent more time trying to give us a sense of his age. (Much younger than previously believed).
Given his outdoor nature and our comfort with his expenses, Dr. discussed honestly the costs involved in the needed dental work and suggested some alternatives. She then produced a detailed estimate in the event that we wanted the work done there.
The tech returned and discussed how to administer the medication and ways to deal with the cat's likely displeasure with it.
Overall, both Dr. and the tech spent quite a bit of time discussing the medical and behavioral concerns."

"Daisy was taken in to the office, to be seen by Dr Jendrek (the son), and was given her yearly shots. He checked her out from head to tail, and pronounced her healthy. I took in a stool sample and it was analyzed for parasites, and I got a call the next day (Saturday) to let me know it was negative...I really like this vet clinic; everyone is so nice!"
