"ook auto to transmission shop and had it checked. told me what was wrong but would not service it because I had a warranty. Contacted diamond warranty and they told" me to go to Aamco. I did that 11 days ago and I am still waiting for them to approve the work that needs to be done.

" and his crew came out and checked the signal strength in my attic space and then mounted a TV antenna in a spot w/ the best reception. The" next part of the job was a bit tricky because they had to rout the cat 5 cable from the attic space down into the crawlspace using a chase line the builder installed in the attic. They then ran the cat5 from the crawlspace to the smart panel in a first floor closet. From there they had to thread the cat 5 to my wall mounted TV on the first floor which was a bit involved because we had to thread it from the crawlspace up to the wire port on the wall(set up previously by another AV installer). Not a job ! and his guys did a great job and the whole thing was done in about 2.5 hours. When I first contacted Elec Tech to schedule an appt had to cancel it 2 times but he really followed through and did a great job for us. I'd definitely recommend Elec Tech to anymore for TV antenna installation !

As companies try to establish return policies that balance customer service and fraud protection, customers are caught frustrated and fighting the red tape.

First, call your insurance company and tell them you do not want any proceeds paid to the contractor under your policy as you are not going with them.  This way they can not collect money on your behalf.  Insurance will typically have you sign a form for release of funds anyway but this is a good extra step to make sure your signature isn't forged.  Second, call the contractor and tell them you will not be needing their services afterall.  Did your husband pay a deposit?  If so it may be non-refundable.  Then follow up with a certified letter. 


An email as well doesn't hurt but some states don't yet recognize email as a form of communication for legally binding documentation.  This may have changed and I'm sure more states do recognize them as I haven't followed that topic elsewhere as much as I used to.  The contractor's office should be local.  A sure fire way to ensure they got the message is to deliver the letter to the office of the contractor and have someone at the office sign a duplicate stating it has been recieved and read.  There's no arguing whether they received it or not by doing that.


Hopefully you've learned your lesson about high pressure sales techniques and storm chasers looking for a quick buck.  Some people find out a much harder way.  While these guys may be legitimate you should always do your homework on a contractor before signing the contract.  Unless you have water running out of the house and the work has to be done on the spot it's not so much of an emergency that it can't wait until the next day.

Consider going to library an reading Consumer Reports rating on home insurance companies in your area.  For affordabilty elect the highest deductable you can stomach.  This will lower your premioum, I went thru Costco, they and Sam's Club can be a valuable resource for home and car insurance. Shop on line with your needs to save money.  Unless you have major assets forget large policy. For your gutter and roofing needs see my blog.

I had made arrangements for them to come to my house on 07/22/15 between 8:00 am and 12;00 pm. They no called, no showed and the number listed for them is constantly busy and no one has returned or contacted me about my scheduled appointment.

Went home filled out the information requested, sent in my check for $10 and sent it out insured, just as I was told. Got an e-mail back that gave me my RMA # 65421. I was told that I has some scratches, which was no problem. However I was told that the watch was improperly opened and the case was damaged and therefore my warranty was voided. ...More I discussed with the employee, I do not know what her name was, about the opening of the watch which was done at a very reputable watch repair facility. So what it came down to, was that if anyone other than the swisswatchintl.com opened the watch the warranty was voided. They wanted $110 for the repair. I told them to just send the watch back to me. Took car in on May 5 early-at end of day was told it would be another day because they had to order part. Next day we weren't called until 4:00 and told it would be another day In the meantime we were renting a car that was costing us money-they told us there was nothing they could do for us even though this was a warranty issue Day three-no call ...More by 2:00 even though we had called twice-we called again and finally was able to talk to the service manager who was totally unprofessional and told us it was their policy not to rent or pay for rentals and could not give us any status on our vehicle. 5:00 day three no call-we called again-left message. 5:30 called again finally got who said that now they were going to rent us a car from Enterprise When I went in again very unprofessional and no apology for the inconvenience and actually said if we had bought the car there they would've given us a loaner car. When Enterprise employee was taking me to the car he told me they don't hear anything good about Ft Dodge and that they rent cars for people all the time. We did not buy our car there because the last car we did buy from them we got NO customer service and didn't want to buy another from them and if this was their way to try to gain us back as a customer they failed completely. Will never go back and will never recommend Ft Dodge.

I am writing to convey my disappointment with the
department of Aquatic. On Monday,
February 16th, I contacted the department with regard to the repair
of a spider crack in the base of my 5 ft. soaking tub. The
repair was not completed until March 20th. I doubt this is exemplary
...More /> of the time frame the company seeks to complete such requests, to say nothing
of the effort required by me to ensure it was done.
Since I first tried to contact the , roughly
two weeks passed and numerous messages were left before anyone returned my
phone calls. I was able to contact someone in customer service, who referred me
to the ’s manager. He simply forwarded my message
back to the representative with which I no longer wished to deal.
Then my request form was lost. On March 4th
I was told I should hear from a repair technician within 7-10 days.
Thirteen days passed before I contacted the rep that said she never received
the warranty request form. She’d already told me (13 days ago) that she
received it.
Next, I received calls from two competing tub repair services
trying to schedule appointments. On March 17th, elated by the news that a
service technician was going to fix my tub on March 20th, another technician from
a different company trying to schedule an appointment contacted me. Very confused and concerned, I reluctantly
told him his services were not needed, and waited for the other technician to
show on the 20th.
My work order was inexplicably cancelled. On March 20th I stayed
home from work in order to wait for the service person. They never showed. When I called the
subcontractor they informed me that the work order had been cancelled.
This was my first experience with Aquatic and
I can only hope that it is an isolated incident, not representative of the
company standard. However, I would not buy another Aquatic product. I would not recommend Aquatic products to
anyone. Sadly, after all that I went
through, I didn’t even care about the defective product.

Poor communication poor customer service. Multiple emails to company, form completed and submitted twice. Received a voice mail response that did not leave a return phone number. I was informed via voice mail my camera wasn't covered because I didn't specifically drop the camera. They don't cover damage, only drops and spills.

I had two separate extended warranty contracts with this company for an 10" Electronic Tablet and an Electric Toothbrush. Both failed in the warranty period and they honored the warranty at full purchase price. The entire process from start to finish was excellent. Price was right, the communication was spot on, and the warranty I purchased was GREAT value for the money. Has to use the warranty on my RV and the RV repair shop handled ALL communications with the warranty company. The repair shop in fact said this was the best experience they have ever had ...More with an extended warranty company.

Poor service. Did not honor their warranty. Failed to return my laptop and failed to honor my warranty. We are filing a claim with the FTC, and BBB, and small claims court.
They said they were goign to repair my laptop, but instead they sent us the hard drive and never sent us anything like this.
Their actions with us are thuggish. We ...More will never trust them. All their support are in India and have no support whatsoever. Nothing was said to us that was honest. We will NEVER use them and we are cancelling all our warranty we purchased with them.
