Massage Therapy Reviews in Baltimore

I got there at 11:45 for my 12:00 massage appointment. I was greeted at the front desk by stares from about 5 different women behind the desk. After checking me into their computer, one of the women showed me upstairs to the locker room. It was a very small room, the size of a walk-in closet, with lockers on the wall and a small couch/seating area. I was instructed to change into my
and slippers, lock my things in the locker and then wait in the 'relaxation room.' The first thing I noticed was a lot of loud talking and laughing coming from the 'relaxation' room. I changed into my
and slippers, noting that I had two left foot slippers, and they were dingy/yellowing and very large (sizing was never discussed). The
was nice and soft and seemed clean. The locker room also had a restroom area with two stalls and a shower next to them. There was also a sauna. The restroom area had bright lighting, and there was a great deal of water on the floor that seemed to be coming out of the shower. There was toilet paper mixed in, making a very unappealing picture. The sinks were interesting and modern bowl-type sinks. I waited in the very loud 'relaxation' room for twenty minutes (until 12:05) and then got a bit antsy. The comfortable seating was all taken, and I was relegated to a stool near the wall. There was water available in a pitcher with pretty glasses stacked nearby. There was a great deal of street noise coming in--cars, motorcycles and music. I was a bit annoyed that it was loud, and I was also annoyed that nobody had come to explain the delay. When 12:20 rolled around I was just about ready to leave. The woman who was about to do my massage,
, came and told me that the delay was because the couple who was getting a massage before me had fallen asleep. She was very nice but I did feel that this was something that the spa could have accounted for by having an extra room available. When I explained that I did have an appointment later in the afternoon, she decided to take me back into a massage room (I'm not sure how this worked, since I thought it was not yet available?). By now it was 12:25. Her original suggestion was to cut the massage short--but I thought I could still make it in the time we had. It took her quite a while to get her tools ready, but the massage itself was very well done. I could tell that she was well trained and she was very good at what she did, concentrating on the areas we discussed before she started. Her music was nice, but it did not
out the outside noise (laughing, cars/traffic sounds, general loud wooden-floor building sounds). I did really enjoy the massage, though. In general I feel like the spa itself is rather dingy--perhaps it is just getting old, perhaps attention to detail is just not important here. I did not feel that the spa was as clean as it could have been. The massage was great, and I would go to this therapist again if she were at another location.

Job 1:
is very customer-oriented. He responds to phone calls immediately, is always punctual. He works out of his home (in Northeast Baltimore City) and also has a studio in
has had a more thorough training than many massage therapists. I've tried a lot of different massage therapists over the last 15 years and find him to be the best. Job 2: After trying several different massage therapists over the years, I am now regularly going to
because of his skill. He was the best one out of many tried! I believe he has had more training than many massage therapists and is a good listener regarding specific requests. I highly recommend him.

He works inside the
Baltimore Massage Therapists Provider Name Locked
Fitness Building. It's a very clean, comfortable room, and massage table. There is a calming environment the minute you walk into the room. There are well placed candles, soothing music, a warm massage table, and comfortable linens. The entire hour long session is worth every penny; you are in a trance and so relaxed when you leave. It's just a healthy, stress relieving, experience from start to finish. I don't leave without booking a follow up massage.
