"I was very pleased with the service. My dog was in good health and spirit each time I returned. The staff was very pleasant and the entire atmosphere seemed dog/people friendly. On one of the visits my dog was on medication and he continued to receive it while being boarded. I was able to send his pillow and rug with him so that he would be comfortable, which was reassuring to me. They were washed prior to my picking him up and that was truly appreciated. My dog seems to know when we are going there because he starts running the lenght of the back seat as soon as we are near. He literally bounds out of the car and up the steps with no fear. I would highly recommend and will continue to take my dog there."

"We chose BFF because it was highly recommended by a friend and we were not disappointed. Our dog is quite active, and we've never boarded him longer than 2 days in a traditional kennel, because we can't stand the thought of him not having room to run and play (or paying extra money for 15 mins of playtime that you never know he even received)...so when we heard about BFF, we were so excited! The reasonable fee of $42/day covers an all day day-care, where the dogs run together in a sprawling fenced in yard, can swim in the pools, run through sprinklers and relax in the shade. Then, exhausted from all the fun, he sleeps in a roomy crate at night with 24 hour supervision. They even had on-line cameras so that we could check up on him while we were on vacation. He really seemed to be enjoying himself and getting along with the other dogs. BFF does insist that you bring your dog in for a day of day-care before allowing you to board him there, so that they can be sure he is easy to get along with. It also gave us a to try them out. They gave us a report card with a picture of him playing with his doggie friends...very cute and creative! You can really tell they enjoy their work. One complaint I do have is that they won't allow you to drop off a dog for boarding on Friday nights (all other nights are ok, except for Fridays)...which isn't very convenient for those of us who leave on vacation on Saturday mornings. We opted to drop off on Friday morning and just pay for the whole day of day-care."

"My dogs were not right for their kennel. =Their kennel is very busy, and they have 2 groups, one for small dogs and one for large dogs. My large dog, who is a rescue, was frightened by the chaotic activity. My small dog did alright. Make sure your dog is accustomed to being around a lot of active dogs."

"I would recommend them to others with one caveat. They seem a bit pricey, though I did shop around before going with them. BUT, I don't worry about the care of my dogs when I leave them in the hands of the friendly, professional staff. The facilities are clean. When I drive up I always see staff walking dogs through the expansive grounds. My dogs are happy when I retrieve them. I may say they seem a bit reluctant leave. I have never had an issue with reservations."

"Our experience with Kennel's had been average at best - every time we would return from our holiday to pick up our pet we found that his folder had red on it indicating he had been aggressive which is a characterisic we had only seen surface at the vet's office. Kennel provided a wonderful change. When I called to inquire about our dog it was evident they had been interacting with him based on their feedback. When we picked him up after this trip they said they were surprised at our warnings regarding aggression since he was a delight to have at the kennel. They were even able to bath him and clip his toenails. We highly recommend Kennel and their attentive staff. We now feel we can go away and not cause anxiety to our pet."

"RBK was recommended by a friend of ours who is an animal rights advocate and has been sending her dog there for 10 years so we immediately felt our dog would be in good hands. The staff are friendly and responsive. The facilities are clean and fresh smelling. Our dog came back clean and healthy and happy (just a little homesick). Its a bit of a drive from our home, but the countryside where it is located is beautiful, so it winds up being a nice excursion. We will definitely use them again."

"We love this place. Our dogs go there when we are on vacation. They seem to enjoy the personnel and the environment. The last time we dropped them off there, they actually ran in to the play area."

" doesn't have all of the bells and whistles of other kennels, but they provide good, solid care for your dog. The owner lives right there so if there are any problems she'll know about them right away. I was very pleased when I picked my dog up that they had bathed her. I didn't know they were going to do that. The only thing at all negative is that the office smells of cigarette smoke."

"This is the boarding kennel we always use when the dog has to be boarded. They offer a variety of accommodations, even having rooms with VCRs for the dogs, if that's what you're looking for. The care to our dog is excellent, with outdoor areas as well as inside kennels. The rate depends on the size of the dog, as well as the accommodation package you prefer. For our dog it was $19 per day. We would recommend them."

"Our dog was happy to see us, seemed healthy and happy. When she jumped up into the car, I noticed her chest was very wet. When I felt her fur and smelled her, I realized she was soaked with urine. The staff offered to bathe her, but I didn't want to bring her back in. The reason given was that she may have laid in her urine, but I've never had a dog that does that."
