"So far this is probably the best money I've spent on my house since I bought it a couple months ago. I called 
because the house needed redecorating and I had no idea where to start. At this point, the rooms were empty and the previous owners' wood paneling and drop ceiling were still in several rooms. When she arrived, it took a couple hours to walk through the house and plan out each room. Based on a few pieces of furniture and art, and an understanding of how I'd be using the rooms, was able to envision the end result. The paint samples arrived in the mail a couple weeks later and I'm now in the middle of my renovations. So far our ideas look great and I'm planning to ask her for more advice once the renovations are complete."

"Overall, the project went very well. provided me exactly what I needed -- someone to walk me through the process of how best to handle updating a 1980s black and white kitchen remodel in a 1960s townhouse. The kitchen had black wallpapered walls and black painted cupboards and white countertops. She was a big help in showing me what my budget would get me and what it would cost to get additional changes that were not within my budget.
My main goal was to brighten a dark kitchen and after that I needed help brainstorming about the possibilities. She suggested that since the kitchen had some updated features I could get away with changing the countertops to granite, changing the wallpaper, painting the cabinets, updating the lighting. I would describe to her what I wanted and she'd show up with samples and choices that very well reflected what it was I said I'd wanted.
She works with a great team of highly professional contractors who are highly professional and accomplished. They are also cordial, prompt, do what they say they are going to do and responsive to minor changes. stays on top of what they are doing and supervising to make sure what they're doing matches what she is trying to accomplish.
Annlyn's best quality (apart from her creatively good taste) is is a straight shooter. She is very firm in expressing her opinion which I appreciate because I don't need someone to appease me or waste time pretending to agree. I wanted and got direct to the point responses (yes and no) to my ideas for modifications. She was also quite flexible too in adjusting to my expressed preferences or concerns. In other words, she was both a guide and a great brainstorming partner. Because of this combination of directness and flexibility I felt comfortable in trusting her recommendations and ended up with features I never would have selected but absolutely love.

"Company picked up new appliances at and delivered to my home.Work then commenced on dismantling old wall oven. The kitchen cabinet base then had to be cut(including to counter top) to install the new kitchen range. New gas line had to be installed and a new water line for the new refrigerator. A new wall closet was built where the old wall oven was..All done in ONE day. GREAT JOB!!"

"I had seen Designs and Home Renovations and was really excited to be able to work with her. She redesigned my home from the ground up so that I could have the Gourmet Kitchen and Bathrooms I had always wanted. Not only is an ASID Interior Designer, but she is also a Certified National Kitchen and Bath Designer. So along with doing the space planning, selected and consulted on all the cabinetry, appliances, fixtures, granite, tile, lighting, carpeting, molding and paint. works with quality contractors who are fairly priced and do a wonderful job. When I told what I wanted and what I needed, she listened. Consequently I have a Kitchen and bathrooms that not only fulfill my needs and desires but are also show stoppers."

" has always been very supportive and encouraged us to offer our vision and suggestions for each area of our home. Before we had children we gave more input. She was always able to take our ideas and make the end result exactly what we had envisioned. After the children came along, my husband and I pretty much turned the projects over to , except to let her know our final vision for each project. Again her design and renovation work always exceeded our expectations. Even though her ability to space plan and select color combinations is exceptional, I still am not sure how she does it... yet in the end everything always comes together seamlessly. I am so glad we chose to work with from the beginning... our home is a perfect reflection of us. Truly without s ability to effectively listen and incorporate our ideas and wishes with her wonderful design talent and unusual versatility, we would not be enjoying our beautiful and comfortable home each and every day."
