"They took their time explaining my options and looking at my house to see what I needed. They were able to point out possible problem areas that I hadn't thought of such as the 2nd floor windows which would be easily accessible due to the second level roof. A real person always answers the phone when you call and a technician will call you back promptly if you have a problem. It's a small company so you get to know all the familiar faces. I had an attempted break-in recently and the intruder was scared off by the alarm so I have definitely gotten my money's worth!"

"Install was fine, I just didn't know I was signing my life away. See, they have what I believe is a sneaky clause in their contract called an evergreen clause. Basically it says that unless you write to cancel within x days of contract termination, the contract will automatically renew another year. And there is no getting out of the contract, the fees for the whole year of service are guaranteed by that clause. So, I believe they stick that in the fine print hoping you won't notice, therefore I'm shouting it from the hilltops to get the word out. If you or anyone you know is considering going with 
(or likely any national alarm monitoring service) tell them you're not signing any contract with an auto-renew clause!"

"I was initially looking for a company to provide alarm monitoring service for a house we were buying that had and existing system. wanted around $34 a month, with a 2 year contract, even though we already had their system. I spoke to a number of other companies offering "free" systems providing that we signed up for a long term monitoring contract (some as long as 5 years) that ranged from $35 to $37 a month, depending on the system. I called and was quoted $22 a month, since I already had a system. They responded quickly to the call (always a good sign for an alarm company), did a full survey and system check, explained all the available options, and ultimately upgraded the existing panel. The service tech fully explained how to operate the new panel and everything works as expected. The significant monthly monitoring savings are certainly a plus and amount to a savings of about $140 to $160 per year. Had I wanted a complete new system, while it would not have been "free", Cripmco's prices certainly seemed reasonable and the lower monthly monitoring savings would have paid for it in a reasonably short period of time. Overall, the bottom line is that there is no such thing as a free system since you can't get one without a non-concealable long term monitoring contract and the longer you keep the system the more you end up paying. If you are looking for a new system or just monthly monitoring, I would recommend that you give a call for a quote."

"Every aspect of their service was excellent. The sales representative was on time and explained everything completely. The installer arrived on time, was very courteous and professional, and gave a very good training presentation. An adjustment had to be made to the original work order and that was made without any additional cost. I would recommend this company very highly. We are very pleased with our new system."
