"They're fine. I have no complaints. They do deliver the oil on time. I've never have to run out of oil. I haven't had any problems with my furnace" lately. Years ago when I did, they were prompt. It was attended to very quickly. I'm not so fond of their prices. They're good. I wish they would reduce their prices consistently with savings on oil.

"It is now next to impossible to get a service appointment - you must book a couple of months out. Plus. they let me run out of fuel a couple of winters ago. This" year. a I called them on a Friday and asked them to deliver fuel over the weekend, because the guage on my tank read Empty, even though I still had heat - and I was told they would not deliver oil on a weekend unless I had no heat! I called back twice over the weekend, and was told the same thing. By Sunday night I had no heat, and it was COLD. Also, I called in April to get my semi-annual tune-up, which I needed to satisfy the home inspection report (I'm selling my house and moving to a warmer climate) and was told they had no openings for a couple of months! I'm moving in 6 weeks, so now I have to find a new fuel oil company who will come do the tune-up. I love oil heat, but WOULD NOT ever use again.

Heating Oil reviews in Baltimore

3rd delivery as promised in the morning. Slight mixup on price of 2nd delivery as one person gave 1 price and another gave different price same day; but in all Good Customer Service currently.

is very good about calling and reminding clients that they have an upcoming furnace check and maintenance check. They are good about rescheduling appointments when it's not inconvenient for us. They are good about scheduling times that are convenient. They are good about scheduling oil drops on a regular basis. They kind ...More of estimate our oil usage to know when the oil drop is necessary. They call ahead of time because I have dogs, and they want to make sure that the dogs are in the house. They call me the night before and let me know that they are coming out, so I can get the dogs in the house. When they work on the furnace for the maintenance, there is no cost to parts that they need to replace during the regular maintenance service. I had a water damage and water flood in my house in November of 2012. There was water all over the basement including up against the furnace. They came out at no charge, and they inspected the furnace to make sure that it was in good running condition. So there was no fee under the policy. With regard to price, it's not a cheap policy, but it's a really old furnace.

We have had very positive experiences with . Their service staff is excellent. They are responsive and respectful and they go out of their way to be helpful. Setting up the original account was easy and we have been very satisfied with the service so far. It is always easy and fast to get someone on the phone, and they respond ...More in a timely manner to requests and issues, even on the coldest days of the year!
We had to have a new boiler put in and decided to go with for the work after meeting with their master plumber . He is excellent -- incredibly knowledgeable, fair, honest and professional. He did all of the work for us, and took the time to explain the ins and outs of our heating system, and answer all of my questions. I don't know for sure how the price compared to other providers, but we were confident that we were having excellent work done by real professionals.
We will continue to use for our heating needs.

Overall my experience with Pugs has been one of the worst I have ever had, they are not at all customer oriented and I would strongly advise anyone to contact me for complete documentation of all of the expenses I have incurred as a result of this company.

I can't say enough good things about
Services. I just wish that I had been an angiest list member when the
work was done so I could have written this review then.
In of 2010, during the heat wave, our air conditioning went up. Now
the system was probably 30 years old and ...More it was time. Of course it
happened right before my wife and I were going to California for a
wedding. We had to move quickly and decide what to have installed and who
to buy it from. Three companies came in. One was the representative
from a Big Box Store and the other two were from and a
competitor. While the other HVAC specialist seemed knowledgeable he
wasn't especially helpful. The gentleman from the big box store normally
sold windows and knew nothing about heating and cooling systems.
We had been using for 3 years for service and oil delivery for our old
Oil Furnace. What impressed me most about the sales rep from was
his patience in explaining every option available to me. I was floored
when he recommended that we switch from an oil furnace to a gas system. (We had
gas coming to the house already for the and water .) My
first comment to him was, "aren't you going to a lot of business by
removing the oil delivery?" His response was, "My job is to
help you figure out what you need and help you make the right decision,
not worry about the bottom line. I was sold from that moment on.
In the end we went with a new ac and a dual fuel heat pump. Because of
the inefficiency of electric heat pumps below an outside temperature of 36
degrees, the dual fuel is more efficient and economical in the long run.
Once the temperature drops below 36 degrees outside the system turns over to a
gas furnace. It is quite ingenious and was definitely more money but
worth every cent. I know I have already saved more than the difference
between the less expensive system in just 2 years.
Anyway, the installation team was wonderful. They were able to
install the new system within 3 days. Since I live in a very old home this is
not an easy place to navigate with all of their equipment. Everyone was
pleasant and worked very hard. I have nothing to say but good things
about the whole experience. We continue to have service our equipment
and have no complaints.

Smooth Transaction. Called number and ordered 150 gallons of fuel oil. I'm not looking for a service contract or automatic delivery - something many of the other fuel delivery companies try to twist your arm for. The person who answered the phone was pleasant and the fuel was delivered as requested the following morning. They were unabile to ...More give a delivery time window... which most will do. Overall satisfied with the transaction. Just remember - your only ordering oil/nothing else. I had originally called but the person who answered the phone had "attitude" in her voice when i asked how much the oil was. Seems like they would post their prices if they don't want people to call.
