Handyman Reviews in Baltimore

don't even bother contacting them. Called 3 times and sent over 7 emails requesting them to install the swingset we bought at
Club. The initial email was responded to very promptly with the price. After that...nothing but crickets. don't waste your time thinking you're going to get their service at the price they give which was $100 less than the next installer because it's not worth the hassle of them never getting back to you to schedule the installation.

My experience with KS&D was wonderful. They worked in my home for about 6 days. The were always on time, courteous and respectful of my place. The first day of demolition, I was really nervous. The guys arrived at 8:30 and by 2 my entire bathroom was gone. The next morning they arrived and began tiling. Each day, I wached my bathroom come alive. By day 6 it was beautiful. Our bathroom is the most beautiful room in our entire house. I wish I could have gotten them to do our kitchen instead of the person we used. I love what they did, and the price was far less than anything I had previously been quoted.

were outstanding—very skilled, incredibly kind, and seemingly able to do any sort of work, even in older houses. That they are located in Baltimore also means that they were very prompt and available on relatively short notice. Did an exceptional job on a new closet and fixed broken boards in our original floors. Will be using them again for sure.

It went very well. the painter was very professional and pleasant. He worked steadily and did a good job. He cleaned up very well.

from Myriad was very nice and easy to communicate with regarding dates and time. Also, the payment method via email was excellent. This was my first experience with Angies' List and will use it again as well as recommending it to friends etc.

This was a really quick job, and we did not want to pay an electrician because it would have been more expensive. Some handyman services did not want to come out for such a quick job, but Mr.

We have nothing negative to say - he knew what he was doing, he told us what his fix was, and told us that he was ~$75 an hour. The job turned out to be less than an hour, but he did not bill us for materials and the final bill was $75.
I would use his services again for little home improvement jobs that we know are out of our area of expertise.

It was very hard to schedule a day with them. The day kept getting changed and we eventually used the services over two days.
They were apologetic about it and responsive and we finally had the work done.
We actually saw two of their workers (one for each day) and the first was very professional and offered advice about general home improvement, which was great. The second was not quite as good and I don't think he really thought about the best way to do the work - for example the window curtain rods maybe should have been installed wider so that the curtain can cover the window and a couple of inches on either side. It became apparent that he could not finish all of the work in the time allotted, which was okay, but he may have rushed or been a little sloppy about it as a result. The moulding trim is still not completely touching the floor in all of the places, which is why we wanted it in the first place: to seal the gaps between the wall and the floors. We may have to go back and seal those gaps with adhesive ourselves.
Overall, for the price I would say that it is worth it, although I may be willing to pay a little more for better workmanship.

Everything went OK. The ceiling patch looks good. My reasons for not giving high
Baltimore Handyman Services Provider Name Locked
: 1) They contracted out the job. The person who showed up was not at all associated with Myriad. In fact, he had his own company. 2) I was expected to provide my own supplies and to have them ready when they were coming to do the job. And, of course, I didn't buy the right thing. I didn't even realize the ceiling was plaster instead of drywall until I got help from the folks at Home Depot. I think they need to come out and have a look before they agree to do the job, but as a new homeowner, I didn't realize how weird it was that they didn't.

The entire process was extremely frustrating. and disappointing. Previously I had used this company to install a kitchen tile backsplash and was very satisfied. That is why I hired him again. Originally

stated the work would take 2 to 3 weeks. It took 8 weeks. What

failed to tell us was that he has moved to LaPlata, MD which is at least a 3 hour drive from our

home. He never arrived before 10 am and most days he didn't arrive until 1 or 2 pm. This tardiness included his workmen as well. It wasn't until I told him he must call and let us know what time to expect him each day that he even had the courtesy to call when he was delayed. Even then he often called at 11 am to let us know he wouldn't arrive until 1 to 2 pm. There was a new excuse every day for why they were late, and they routinely left between 4 and 5 pm. They never worked a full day throughout the entire project.

is extremely nice, and the work he did was good, but it shouldn't have taken such a long time. The only part of the project that was unsatisfactory was the one basement window. It was framed in so that it is impossible to open it more than 6 inches. The only contractor who arrived at a reasonable hour and worked until his project was complete was the person who installed the carpet. He called 2 days before and arrived within 1/2 hour of the promised time. He did an excellent job. I would not hire this company again..

Tad has my phone number, address and email address. After one week had passed and I did not receive the email estimate as was agreed upon, I called and spoke to him. He said he was going to catch up over the weekend and I should have it then. It is now exactly one month and I have had no communication from Tad or anyone else at

. It is totally unprofessional to waste my time of meeting with him at my house to go over my project and then waiting for him to give me an estimate. Zero communication from him mean zero work from me now and in the future.

framed in the walls for the construction of the closets. He enclosed the space with drywall, and hung the doors. This was a bit of a chore since the hose is rather old (and not plumb), the floor is concrete and lots of measuring had to be done to make the closets appear straight and the doors to work properly. He got it done and was pleasant and professional the whole time he worked on this rather frustrating project. He gave me a full 7 hours with barely a break. Good job!!
