"I called Mr.
Baltimore Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
and because he lives in Annapolis and I was in downtown Baltimore, we arranged that he would call me on my cellphone next time he was coming through Baltimore and I would come home from work and meet him. I did have to call him again a week or so later because I hadn't heard from him, but once I did that he arranged to meet me at a specific time. He came at exactly the time he said he would and took a look at my dresser. We talked about what I wanted done and he said that he could do that and gave me an estimate. He loaded the dresser onto his truck with lots of care. We arranged that he would drop off the dresser about two months later. I called him when we got closer to the date and he was right on schedule. We arranged a time to meet and he was again very prompt in dropping it off. The dresser looks fabulous and he was very good at delivering exactly what I'd asked for--I'd wanted the dresser to look as original as possible and retain the patina that had developed over the years. I would definitely use Mr.

again. He was an old-school craftsman who was clearly trained very well and knows what he's doing.

"We had two antique chairs. He didn't do anything before we talked about what would be best. He stained the hi-chair and fixed it. We also had a child's chair that needed work. He suggested a few changes and stripped it. He returned the chairs right back to antique condition. He was just excellent."

Baltimore Furniture Repair Shops Reviews

"She was very pleasant and answered all the questions we had concerning what was to be done. She gave us a price that included the extra work and the caning. When I picked up the chairs, the price was exactly what she had quoted me. We were extremely pleased."

"These chairs are at least 105 years old. They belonged to my husband's father when he was a child. My husband's father was born in 1904 and he used the chairs; my husband is now 82 years old and he used the chairs as a child. Our 2 sons, 53 and 51, also used the chairs, as did our granddaughter, who is now 26. We had them refinished for our great grandson to use. He is now 8 months old. The reason I call the one a high chair/rocker is because the chair has a spring lever on the back so that when you pull it up, the chair goes down and forms a rocking chair. When you want it to be a high chair, just pull the lever up and the chair becomes a high chair again."

"My only complaint is that mr

didn't update his answering service while he was having hip surgey. I almost didn't continue trying to reach him. However, once we did make contact, his response was swift. The work was very good and quickly completed, which I appreciated as I was expectin house guests in a short time. The two men who moved the pieces were very careful with them."

"No one ever answered the telephone number at this address. The Yellow pages had two other numbers, one for Baltimore and one for

"
Baltimore Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
, owner of
Baltimore Furniture Repair Shops Provider Name Locked
, is the person I dealt with regarding the repairs. He was extremely professional and clearly an artist in repairing fine furniture. I am a very particular person and I must say am extremely impressed with his work. He has always been very punctual when coming to my place to either pick-up/deliver pieces or do repairs on location. He was willing to come on a Saturday morning so I did not have to miss

. I have found his prices to be a bit on the high side but one can accept this when the quality is so good and the work is so outstanding. A terrific place should you need fine furniture restoration and repair.

"They treated us fine and delivered earlier than they said they were going to. The quality of workmanship was not up to par. They were not very professional and I would not recommend them to others."

"I would recommend them to others. They did a really fine job, are pretty quick, got it done in a timely fashion, are pretty competitively priced, & centrally located in a residential area."
