Flooring Reviews in Baltimore

I originally worked with Rusty, their salesman. He was very receptive to my ideas and was able to make some excellent recommendations. I was given the option to finance the whole project for next to nothing, which was great! We settled on redoing a living room, a dining room, and a hallway, plus replacing the carpet on the stairs.
The workers showed up early and worked very diligently. It took them about 10 hours because it was a pretty big job and there were some complicated corner cuts. They were polite, explained when they had an issue (a divot in the floor that needed to be patched, which they took care of!) and took the extra time to clean and vaccum the floors when the disgusting carpet was torn out.
I'll definitely call
when I decide to do another flooring project.

I had old parquet floors removed and replaced with beautiful ceramic tile. I'm getting my home ready to put on the
so I didn't want to spend a bundle--but I wanted it to compliment my great kitchen as a focal point in my open floor plan home. My townhome is 120 years old, I wanted brick originally--but $12.99 a foot changed my mind. Grant came up with some really great alternatives, respecting my budget and my time. The work was performed professionally and I couldn't be happier. My floors look like a million bucks! I can't wait to work with his company again. Great Job!!

The team was very professional, accommodating and punctual. We were selling our house and needed it done in a very short amount of time. We were thrilled with the results! It was the final touch that made our basement feel complete, it really transformed the area.

HORRIBLE. We have had a very frustrating experience with this company, and have yet to have some issues with the installation resolved. My husband and I were initially excited to have the carpeting installed upstairs, we felt they provided good pricing on the cost and installation. However, all the positives stop there. It was very easy to schedule a measurement date and an installation date, the installers arrived on time both times. As they began the installation of a stair runner it became apparent there was a misunderstanding between the store and the installers. They began stapling carpet over the entire step, instead of installing the stair runner that we paid for. They had covered and stapled 2 steps of our newly stained wood before I noticed what they were doing and asked them to stop. When we called the store salesman to rectify our understanding and what was documented in our sales paperwork, the salesman attempted to avoid acknowledging the error, and insinuated that we should move forward with covering our entire steps with carpet, but we refused. They completed the installation for the 3 bedrooms, 3 closets, a small hallway but they needed to return to complete the stair runner (the carpet needed to be bound on the edges to achieve the look we were going for). After repeated (at least 5) unreturned phone calls and voicemails to schedule the stair runner installation, my husband had to drive to the location to get a response from the staff. Despite the salesman excuses, the stair runner was ultimately installed however they made another mistake - cutting the runner about 1/3rd of the way down to accommodate for a landing - so there is a 4 inch gap/separation between the step above the stair landing (with a raw, jagged

) and the landing - they created to parts to the runner. It looks like a botched do-it-yourself job. We have called and left multiple voicemails for them to rectify the situation, with no response as of Mar 2014. This all began in

2014. Health and family issues have prevented us from returning to the store physically again, but we will this upcoming weekend. We would NOT recommend this Waltham Woods Road location services to anyone.

It took a few months in the making, but

was very patient with us. We just wanted to make sure we had the right carpet, the right price, and the right business for the job.

was, always, very understanding, pleasant and helpful. If he did go crazy over our indecisiveness or disorganization, he didn't show it. Very professional, he is. He came out to our business to survey the area and give us some options and a quote. There were other businesses that didn't even offer to come look at our office, or seem interested at all.
We had a couple carpets in our office that needed replacing.

was able to come in for Saturday installation so that it wouldn't affect our business. We're on the 3rd floor of an old building with no elevator, but

and his crew were able to lug everything up the stairs without any complaining (which I get all the time from the UPS delivery guy).
It was a long job (about 12 hours), but the crew pushed on through (I'm not sure if they took any breaks). They were clean and did a great job in the replacement.
The new carpet looks great! I was able to get everything back in place, in time, for business to open up Monday morning.

We were able to get an appointment within a couple days, and Ash came out to our home to give us an estimate. He was very friendly, knowledgable, and professional. He gave us his opinion on what he thought would look best, even though his suggestion was cheaper than what we were originally asking for. He told us that he had just purchased some flooring on special and that he thought it would be perfect for us and we could get a great deal. He gave us an estimate, which was $4,000 less than the others we had received. Yes, $4,000 and I'm not exaggerating. Ash said the wood he wanted to show us had not been delivered to his store yet, but that he would call us as soon as it arrived. A couple weeks later he called to say the wood had come in and said that we could either come to the showroom or he would bring a sample to our house. Unfortunately, we decided not to have the floors re-done at this time but it had nothing to do with

. We thought they were great and are definitely planning on calling them when we are ready to move forward. I highly recommend that you let they come out and give you an estimate after you've talked to some of the big box stores. You will be amazed at the difference.

’s team performed a full remodel on our condo this past fall. This was a total gut job that included a redesigned kitchen layout, two completely new bathrooms, relocated main electrical panel, 21 new recessed light fixtures, new wood flooring, replacement closet doors (requiring existing walls to be moved/revised) and installed full closet organizers, TV's hung on wall. We’ve only tried remodeling one room years ago and it was a disaster – we wound up finishing the job ourselves. Based on that experience we were very nervous going into this project, but our living space needed a full overhaul. We had met with

various times prior to the start of project and he was very thorough in ascertaining our requirements.

provided a detailed estimate on exactly what his team would be doing room by room, arrived everyday like clockwork at 7:30AM for the entire length of the project and completed everything specified on the estimate 100%. At the end of the project, he produced a change request for items that we added on as the work progressed and a credit memo for items that we decided not to do.
One thing that I was really impressed with early on in the project: we hit a snag with our recessed lights which I discussed with

. I then spoke with the electrician; I opted for what I thought was the most cost effective solution which really wasn't what I wanted. First thing, the next morning,
Baltimore Flooring Installers Provider Name Locked
was calling me saying " that's not what you want - get it right, we can fix drywall in our sleep". Net, net, I've got the correct recessed lights, did not cost me extra and I don't look at the ceiling and grind my teeth :).
This was a great experience and my husband and I absolutely love our new space. I would use

again without hesitation for any future projects.

The gentlemen that came out to inspect and measure was very nice (not Mr. Ed from Neuslein, but a subcontractor,

Tile). The fellow that installed seemed suprised at the condition of the floor. He said it was going to take 4 extra bags (leveler goop) and would take a little longer. He did the job at the same price, took two full days (I think they were estimating 1-1/2 days) and did a fantastic job. Since I was tiling a laundry/storage room, I wasn't fussy about the tile design. They were able to hook me up with an inventory they had from another client who bailed on them. I worked at home both days, the installer was on time, worked the entire time, kept his radio at a reasonable level, and was a zero on the "creepy dude" scale. Nice fellow.

They lived up to their promise of quick, competent service. Two very nice young men took up the old carpet and disposed of it.. before starting, they went over the plan with me and asked my opinion about how I wanted things like transitions to other rooms. They did an excellent job and the carpet looks great!
