had given us an estimate in mid December for both replacement of the back door and a new deck. We had decided to put off building the deck until it was a little warmer weather. But, we really wanted the old back door removed and replaced with a safer and better option.

is very professional and came back to do another estimate closer to the date of the work and then a third time to make sure of the dimensions. We have a VERY old townhouse (built in 1900) and this back door was extremely old. It hadn't originally been framed properly and the deadbolt went into the trim. So, we were extremely happy to have a new door framed and put in correctly.

and his team (

and another younger worker) were excellent. They showed up on time and worked diligently throughout the day. What we thought would take 2-4 hours actually ended up taking almost 8 hours since they had found that they needed to do more work (chipping the brick and shaving some of the drywall) to make the door fit. They hung new trim and spackled the drywall, repainted the outside/inside, and caulked everything so it was sealed. I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone doing work to their home. We are actually having them come this morning to finish up the sanding and painted the interior of the door (they needed to let it dry) so I can't wait to see the finished product. They were excellent and we are looking forward to working with them in the spring on our deck.

"The salesperson,
Baltimore Door Installers Provider Name Locked
and the installers were both prompt and professional. The installation amazingly took only one day and the windows are beautiful. Living in a city rowhouse, I am beyond pleased to be able to open the windows from the top or bottom for both privacy and cross ventilation. I have never been able to open my front downstairs windows, so this is huge! Best of all- no more scraping and painting since the sorround and sills were covered in aluminum."

"Some of the work needed to be redone by a friend of mine. A central beam holding up the second floor needed to be reinforced because it could potentially have fallen."

"The person who would be installing the door came to my house, measured the 3 openings in which I wanted new doors, and gave me brochures. After he completed measuring, he assisted me in choosing doors that would fit the openings. He did not, however, have pricing. Several days later I received an email with images of the doors I had selected along with the pricing. Since the doors and installation were much more money than I was able to afford, I did not have

's doors perform the work. As a check, I priced the

French Doors at Home Depot and discovered the door unit alone was $3k; had I known that, I would have selected a different model. Although I did not have

's Doors perform the work, I was impressed with the quality of service offered and the helpfulness of all involved. I am confident that this company would do an excellent installation with high quality doors.

"I emailed and
Baltimore Door Installers Provider Name Locked
responded within an hour or two. He gave me several appointment options. On the appointed day, he called to say he would be early. He listened carefully, asked appropriate questions, and gave me estimates for the labor. He was prompt and polite. Based upon the estimate, we decided to put these projects on hold in favor of doing other projects. I would contact

"We have a slate roof and copper gutters that were damaged badly in February. The slate tiles had snowguards attached, which were dragged down by the 38" of snow, taking over 80 tiles and the gutters down with them. We were away for much of March so we waited awhile to file a claim.

came out last month and gave us a prompt estimate which was significantly more than the insurance company first estimated. As it turns out, the insurance company came out in the rain and didn't get a good look at the damage.
Baltimore Door Installers Provider Name Locked
dealt directly with the insurance company, who quickly agreed to his price. After they agreed he ordered the parts and was out within a couple weeks working on the roof. I can't say enough good things about
Baltimore Door Installers Provider Name Locked
. He does beautiful work - the roof and gutters look better than ever. He really went over and above the call of duty. For example, he moved existing tiles around to make the color pattern seem more uniform. He repaired a long length of rotted fascia board for free. He went back and rewelded a piece of the copper gutter because he didn't like the color of the original weld! I never would have noticed that - not in a million years. He treats the house as if its his own. In fact, the work spanned a weekend so he came over early Sunday morning and took down the ladders and scaffolding so we wouldn't have to look at it all day. Wow. I was so happy I've already arranged for him to build a deck on the back of the house this summer.

"Prompt response to estimate. Professional service, great prices, quality workmanship. "

"Never looked at the area that required roof repair, never looked at the existing door frame to size it and was able give me a quote of a couple of thousand dollars. He indicated that he was busy. Well if you're busy that's fine...I would have preferred if he indicated that he was too busy to take on a job that would require a full day for him and his team. I've done this work in the past and I understand that its more labor intensive than material intensive. I would him rather have giving me a statement of work outlining cost and what he was going to do...Unless you have a small job that requires an hour or two of work, I don't think he is the right person for the job."

"They were very professional, prompt and pleasant to work with. We ended up going with another lumbar yard that was a little less expensive. But the estimates were fairly close."

"I went to this
Baltimore Door Installers Provider Name Locked
instead of the last one I went to, and what a mistake that was. They have the worst communication between the store and the installers. I never knew when they were coming to install my door. Then they got the wrong door; this one wouldn't close all the way. With all these problems, they still didn't give me any discounts."
