"He was very professional, explained every step of the process, gave an estimate of the time it would take and kept me updated as to the progress, and cleaned everything thoroughly afterwards."

"I did not have them do any work. They gave me wrong information on granite countertops about the cutting in the field so I did not go with them. I felt like they should have known that since they are a kitchen remodel firm. I guess that was not their forte and they just call someone and have them custom fit it. "

"This is my first remodeling project and it could not have gone better. The budget was spot on with the estimate, the contractor (Ed ) was very flexible with scheudling the job and everything was installed within the estimated timeline. I especially appreciated how Mr. was very friendly and responsive to my questions about the project. He offered great suggestions and was very willing to go along with my requests. The owner of the business, Mr. , estimated the job and was on site every day doing the work along with his guys. Both of the subcontractors Mr. used for electrical and plumbing work were top notch. Absolutely no complaints. I will use contracting again."

"I waited 20 years to do this project because of the horror stories I heard from friends and acquaintances who suffered through remodeling projects. My experience with made the wait worthwhile. My journey started by reviewing Angie?s List for companies that did bathroom renovations that had ?A? ratings in several recent reports. It was not until I met with that I learned that not all A-rated companies are created equally, so read the member comments thoroughly.
doesn?t give estimates that are based on allowances. He had me do my homework to select tiles and fixtures and then gave me an itemized estimate. As an accountant, I was absolutely delighted! I knew exactly what I was getting. ?t worry, will give you as much guidance as you need to make the right choices. I was most impressed by his dedication in helping me with my tile selection and layout. He saw that getting the effect I wanted would present challenges and he worked with the tile manufacturer and developed a solution. And this was done BEFORE he gave me his estimate and I signed the contract. I couldn?t think of anyone investing this much effort before getting a signed deal.
Once and his crew are in your home, they make every effort to protect your furnishings and contain dust. Furniture was covered; my hardwood floors were protected and dust barriers installed and the job site was cleaned every day. Look, in every construction site a little dust will fly, but on a job, you won?t be living in a blizzard of construction dust.
has exacting standards for his crew. If he doesn?t like what he sees, it gets re-done until it?s done right. For example, the tile on my project worked all weekend to the mosaic floor, but when saw it on Monday, he said it wasn?t up to his standard so the tile was taken up and re-laid. There was also problem with the stain on the closet doors that addressed promptly and thoroughly.
encourages his clients to tell him if they think things aren?t quite right. He calls everyday to see how things are going. If you?re not happy with something, tell him. He will make it good; he treats you like you are his most important client. At the very end of the job I noticed that his carpenter forgot to fill the nail holes on the new closet casing. I mentioned it to as a joke since I had filler pencils and could easily fill them myself. insisted that his carpenter come back and fill them. is a firm believer in the job isn?t over until the customer is completely satisfied. He tolerates no loose ends.
I had a fantastic experience working with and his crew. The bathroom turned out great; it takes my breath away. The closet he built looks like it?s always been there. Now that I know I will be in good hands working with , I?m looking forward to starting on my kitchen renovation!"

"Overall went very well and can't complain too much for quality of work since this was a repair job and trying to match up grout lines with existing tilework can be a tough task for any tile expert. I do wish that a little more attention was paid to the installation of tiles on the wall portion of shower since these tiles slid a little and caused a further gap in grout line than I thought was necesary. I would recommend them and use them again."

"We have a slate roof and copper gutters that were damaged badly in February. The slate tiles had snowguards attached, which were dragged down by the 38" of snow, taking over 80 tiles and the gutters down with them. We were away for much of March so we waited awhile to file a claim.
came out last month and gave us a prompt estimate which was significantly more than the insurance company first estimated. As it turns out, the insurance company came out in the rain and didn't get a good look at the damage. dealt directly with the insurance company, who quickly agreed to his price. After they agreed he ordered the parts and was out within a couple weeks working on the roof.
I can't say enough good things about . He does beautiful work - the roof and gutters look better than ever. He really went over and above the call of duty. For example, he moved existing tiles around to make the color pattern seem more uniform. He repaired a long length of rotted fascia board for free. He went back and rewelded a piece of the copper gutter because he didn't like the color of the original weld! I never would have noticed that - not in a million years.
He treats the house as if its his own. In fact, the work spanned a weekend so he came over early Sunday morning and took down the ladders and scaffolding so we wouldn't have to look at it all day. Wow. I was so happy I've already arranged for him to build a deck on the back of the house this summer."

" started our bathroom the last week in august 2009. The bathroom needed to be gutted. The floor had at least 6 inches of concrete that needed to be removed. The walls were plaster and lath with ceramic tile 5 feet up (10 ft ceilings). Demolition took 4 days, followed by a week of squaring up walls and ceiling. All plumbing to the second floor bathroom above was replaced while walls were opened. There was a short delay waiting for the plumber.
All exterior walls were insulated before drywall was installed. The floor was replaced, bead board installed with tile in shower and bath
's attention to detail is excellent.
See pictures they tell the whole story."

"I scheduled to have the work done about 2 weeks in advance. Payments were made in 3 installments as agreed in the contract. One Overall the renovation went well, with the exception that the job took a little longer that I had originally anticipated. The gentleman were very professional and respectful and knew their craft very well! There daily hours were from 8:30--4:00ish, There were days in which I had to be at work, so I would let them in the morning and they would lock the door upon their departure. I felt very comfortable leaving them in my home to complete the job. I took pictures highlighting the stages of the renovation.
For my convenience, the contractor recommended a few places that sold ceramic tile/grout at a reasonable price. I made the selection, and the contractor purchased it and I'd reimbursed him the cost. I also selected and purchased the carpet; he picked it up and brought it to the house. This was very helpful.
The only disappointment was that I was expecting the contractor to provide daily reports and detail the work that is going be performed the next day, without me having to call him to verify. "

" is a joy to work with. He is professional; timely with estimates; arrives when he says he will; kept me informed each step of the way; completed the job right on schedule; uses only very competent subs (plumbers and electricians) and does very high quality work. He has been in business for years - 20 or 30? - in the Catonsville area and is extremely well regarded in the community. He is still busy while many remodelers are searching for work - so plan on waiting for him to be free! He also did a beautiful tiling job of my backsplash in the kitchen. I will definitely call him again next year when I add on to my lower level."

"They came out to replace my tile in the shower area, then they replaced the pipes that goes to the shower. The grout needed filled in and they did that as well, and after all the work was done they had to fix the plaster on the walls around the piping."
