This was a less standard installation of a large flat screen tv over a fireplace adjacent to a brick wall. It required additional wiring and a mounting different from the one included ...MoreRead more of this review in the deal. As a result it was significantly more expensive than anticipated and, since the Big Deal was a holiday gift to someone, made it awkward for both the purchaser and the recipient. also gave an estimate to complete the same work at our home. We appreciated his willingness to honor the Big Deal price, but again the final estimate was significantly higher.

I had at least twenty phone conversations (with long holds), false information, ...MoreRead more of this review false promises, incorrect installations, failure to connect a network to a pre-wired home and endless frustration. Eventually, I re-did all their abysmal efforts myself and got the system working.
is the worst service company I have ever used for any purpose. If I could, I would prohibit them from offering service in Baltimore City. Unfortunately, I don't have a view of the southerns sky or I would have purchased the same services from Direct TV. I was stuck with . In the course of my three months of tribulations, installers (most of whom are subcontractors; not employees) made countless errors including leaving trash on the floor, failing to hook up phones properly (no dial tones at my ), attaching cables to routers incorrectly, being untrained and unschooled in networking installations and Wi-Fi and the list goes on. It was an unmitigated disaster.
Finally, customer service agreed to hold up their effort at debt collection and notate my account with a "do not terminate service" notice until I had a to speak to a "real" supervisor. The supervisor never called and my service was terminated without notice. Only when I raised h*** was I able to make someone understand that had badly screwed me and finally, they sent a competent networking technician. (Extra charge for a new service called "Signature" service. Apparently has not previously employed technicians familiar with networking in Baltimore City until thirty days ago.)
He inspected my re-do of their system and told me I had done an excellent job and everything was working. He also claims to have insured that I got a $300 rebate on my next bill. Time will tell. What is most interesting about this experience is that I had only left the home for three months. Prior to my departure all services worked exactly as they should including Wi-Fi. Three months later was unable to restore the home to its original condition. Nothing had changed. The house was vacant for those three months.I would recommend to any prospective Baltimore City customer that they look at any possible alternative; even Verizon (which now has a high speed broadband option) which is also a rat's nest of bureaucracy and unfulfilled promises. I am told that FIOS is quite good. But Verizon won't install FIOS cabling in Baltimore City; presumably because the population is too poor to justify the investment.
I have given more than forty hours to supervising technicians who have failed to successfully do what should be a relatively straightforward installation.
There are no adequate words to express my disgust and frustration that they are able to scam customers this way.”
