"Porter and his team were excellent to work with. Ours was a small job, but they fit us in quickly and were professional, clean, and very respectful of our space. We requested a bid on a larger job as well, and Porter went above and beyond delivering every option we could consider, with very detailed renderings. They were in and out in 2 days. Bill, the manager on the job, was very communicative, and we were included in every step of the process. I would highly recommend this contractor and wouldn't hesitate to hire them again for a larger project."

"We couldn't be happier and we get tons of compliments on our bathroom and the tile work. It's part of the tour of the house when we have guests come to visit!
He has done other jobs for us as well. He built a huge custom entertainment center for us in our living room. He did our crown moulding through out the entire house (vaulted ceilings). He has done tile work around our pool and did a customer pool bar for us on our patio. And he has also redone some of our exterior windows (wood rot) even matching our exterior paint. Whenever I need something done I call
Austin Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
! I know that I am getting a reasonable and fair price and I KNOW the work will be done to perfection. He is a pleasure to have around and I learn something new every time I watch him work.
I have recommended him to many of my friends and family as well. He did a deck for one friend, another bathroom remodel for a neighbor, a kitchen remodel for another relative. He did my dearest friend's closet makeover that I am so jealous of, painted her interior house and did all the crown moulding too. They too have all been very pleased with his work and continue to call him for jobs as well!! A+++++ for

has done excellent work for us in a wide variety of projects. He's always friendly and professional, and he has always been accommodating around our busy schedules. His pricing is very reasonable compared to other services and he is very honest about what a project will cost upfront. We highly recommend his service and we will continue to utilize him for future projects.

"This contractor is what nightmares are made of. Cuts corners, unreliable, horrible at communicating, and the worst- I'm completely dissatisfied with the quality of work and aesthetics of finished product. I've actually met with other contractors to clean up his work.
I bought a house and hired Bill
Austin Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
to replace the subfloor in my bedroom and bathroom. The previous owner did a renovation and areas had not been properly protected against the rain so water collected underneath the house. One month after the project is complete, I realize that 3 feet of the newly installed subfloor is completely exposed to the outside. The exterior back wall of my house should have flashing and siding over the entire area, but one section was skipped. This is EXACTLY what caused the problem in the first place and the problem I hired him to fix. I noticed he didn't even use new materials for the subfloor, it's old wood.
The second huge issue is the tub surround installation. Instead of trimming the panels to fit the dimensions of my tub walls (it was a few inches too wide) he overlapped them. If he cared about quality, he would have made the panels fit side by side creating a continuous wall. Since he doesn't, I'm stuck with an uneven surface that looks incredibly cheap due to the over-caulked, obvious seams. To repair the issue, the surround would have to be removed and trimmed all over again.
Last but not least, a few days into the project he discovered my French doors needed to be replaced due to water damage. I decided to replace them with a large window instead. However, he didn't tell me he was going to buy $400 doors that day and take my old doors (with my security alarm sensor on them) home with him. This prompted a serious conversation about him spending unbudgeted money, taking my doors (I had sold them for $200), and the $105 security system sensor that was lost in the shuffle. He claimed it was unfair that I made him replace it. Since it took 2 weeks for my new window to come in, my bedroom wall that previously had my French doors was boarded up with plywood in 20 degree weather. Had he communicated his timeline for this unplanned event, I wouldn't have had to deal with that.
Other misc events
Day 1- No show, no call. When we spoke he claimed he had other commitments regardless of my start date. He later stated it was due to a worker not showing up to help him
Day 4- Another no show, no call. This was after a very clear and polite conversation we had stating if you are not working that day then notify me in advance. The staff he hires is either unreliable or just a scapegoat
Carelessness- I understand that my plumbing and vanity are cheap, but I feel they're damaged due to carelessness. The vanity top is cracked, the metal toilet paper holder and curtain rod holders were twisted since they were pried out of the wall instead of using a screw driver, and my toilet's water supply valve was leaking. It's now cheaply over-caulked.
Bottom line: run from this contractor and don't give him a cent of your money.

"Yamil was able to come to my house and give an estimate the same day I called him. He fit me into his schedule quickly and performed the work in a timely and professional manner. He took pictures of the progress for documentation and shared it with me upon completion. He went above and beyond the scope of work by fixing our baseboard moulding and securing the subfloor in additional areas of the bathroom. Overall an excellent experience and I will definitely be calling him again n the future.

"Skywest did a complete remodel of our home. They laid hard-wood floors, expanded a closet, changed out most all light fixtures, installed a complete set of new kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets and bookshelves in the living room. The crew ( which are the best craftsmen) laid slate tile in the foyer, bathrooms and kitchen. The entire house was repainted. Skywest re- configured the master bathroom shower and came up with a fabulous new design (we love it!!). A new fireplace mantle was installed in the dining room and it looks awesome. The crew laid a rubber floor in the gym and put in additional lighting. The list goes on... I just can't say enough about the trust and confidence we have in Skywest and ultimately

"I've used
Austin Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
(the guy's name is actually

Austin Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
has an excellent crew, but he spends quite a bit of time at the job site making sure everything is done right.
Austin Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
will take tricky jobs that
Austin Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
services just refuse over the phone. In my case, I wanted a shed built in a difficult spot which required building the walls and foundation separately and assembling them in tight quarters. They did a fine job of that.
Austin Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his guys are friendly and professional, you'll feel safe with them on your premises and in your home.

Austin Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
did an excellent job with a difficult project. He had to remove a storm door before he could remove and replace the old 15-lite metal door. After he installed the new door, he had to re-install the storm door. He painted the exterior side of the new door.
He looked out for my well-being. When he went to Lowe's to pick up the door I'd ordered online, he noticed it was defective. This particular Lowe's location didn't have a replacement door, so he called me about the problem. He explained he could correct the problem, but doing so would increase my costs. He suggested getting the door from another Lowe's location. I agreed and he picked up the door.
I'm very pleased with the results, and he did the work right the first time, which I greatly appreciate. I didn't have to take additional time off work to have him come out again to correct a problem.
