Austin Podiatrists Reviews

"He did find an ingrown nail but because of my diabetes and my many adverse reactions to medications, he decided not to do the ordinary surgery to correct it - so, he cut the sides of the nail without having to be too intrusive. As he had said it did leave the nail skinnier than the rest and as he had warned it may not fix the problem, it didn't fix it. One good thing is that I didn't get any kind of infection or problem with my toe healing from the procedure.
The reason I am not going back to him is because I definitely felt I was not the kind of patient he wanted. His bedside manner was telling me that my problem was trivial and I was one of those 'annoying' pesky patients. His assistant wrapped the toe up and as I left he gave me a prescription for a pain

, which I didn't fill.
I am not going back there, because feel welcomed.

"I was nervous about getting this surgery because I had talked with several people who had had similar surgery (with other doctors) and were not happy with the results. I had delayed this for years, but finally realized I had to do it. I was reassured from the moment I met Dr.

and his staff. He is very experienced in this area. He explained each procedure and detailed what to expect and what follow-up would be necessary. On his advice, I had the surgery on one foot in February and on the other one five weeks later. Everything went well and I am very satisfied with the results. I give Dr.

the highest recommendation.

"He is cute. I wouldn't be using him if I didn't like him. His staff is wonderful. His office is fine. His bedside manner is good. His promptness is good."

"Showed up a few minutes early for appointment. Five minutes after appt. time was brought into treatment area and walked by a doctor who mumbled "be right with you" without making eye contact. Waited then for nearly a half hour. Finally, when it was clear that I had been forgotten or that the doctor has no concern for punctuality or patient care I left and told surprised nurses that I had to get back to work. A bit of a wait is normal at a doctor's office but podiatry is not an emergency practice and such ridiculous lack of concern for a patient's appt. time signals to me a doctor who couldn't care less....."

"Treatment was appropriate and rapid - Dr.

explained why he was going to start with a more conservative approach and that he would perform more invasive treatment if the first steps didn't help. Parent was much improved after first visit."

"We sometimes think of Dr.
Austin Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
as a primary doctor, although we know he is not. He is very interested in all medical problems my husband has, to help him understand his foot issues. When he complained of stumbling and falling, Dr.
Austin Podiatrists Provider Name Locked
ordered physical therapy and a cane/walker to assist him. He always gives advice to help with these problems. He writes a prescription as needed so my husband can have special shoes to protect his feet. This has helped very much in his stumbling and loss of balance problem. Dr

knows his medical history and is good at putting us at ease. He is very knowledgeable, works efficiently, is very personable and friendly, while being professional. We would highly recommend him.
