They are very helpful and flexible over the phone and I've never had a problem with service. My dog LOVES the place and is always dragging me inside. Boarding can be a little expensive, but the dogs get daycare thrown in. My dog always leaves safe and happy.

is awful! They threw away most of my dogs belongings, and the ones they did return to me smelled of urine, as did my dog. His paws were swollen to a size at least twice as big as normal when I picked him up, which the vet said was a result of a fungal infection he contracted at

My review of
Austin Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
cannot be done with just the most recent exam. They've been my vet for 12 years and have been WONDERFUL this entire time. I was a teenager and freshly out on my own when I first went to them with my (then) puppy. They were always conscientious of price and worked with me to make sure my dog got all the care she required on my limited means. Doctor
Austin Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
in particular has been a very caring, knowledgable vet. She not only cares about our animals, she takes time to acknowledge our feelings. When we had to put an older dog down, Dr.
Austin Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
was not in, but followed up with me on the phone later to help me through it. She did this as well when years ago my grandfather's dog, who I had assumed care for, died unexpectedly after surgery. She's just amazing.
Their hospital manager
Austin Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
has been with them for years and knows me by name (accident-prone dogs will do that). She's very efficient and also a great person. In fact, all the staff are great and I don't recall having an issue with any of them. Our relationship with our vet is such that when I became pregnant, she was among the first to know (found out not long before our dog's annual physical) and when the baby was born, the clinic sent her a "welcome to the world" card. Now that's love!
It does happen occasionally that you'll have an appointment but wind up having to wait. This is because they're an emergency vet, so they triage patients as they come in. When this happens, they communicate effectively on what they estimate your wait to be, and are very apologetic. I don't mind waiting since I know it could one day be my dog who needs help.
A major bonus to
Austin Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
is that they have weekend and evening hours. I don't have to take off work in order to take my dog & cat to the vet. It's happened many times that my dog has had an emergency and it's comforting to know that the same people will provide her care as when she's well. They also do dayboarding, which I've used on two occasions. Both times I realized at the last minute that I couldn't have my dog at the house during the day. Rather than scramble to find a kennel with availability, then fill out paperwork and send in vaccination records, I just called up my vet and dropped her off (filling out a

form, of course). It was really convenient and I knew if she got hurt, Dr.

was right there.
I recommend
Austin Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
to everyone I know. Yes, their prices are a little higher than other vets, but they're worth it when you factor in their availability, their knowledge, and the level of compassionate care they provide!

I LOVE everyone at this facility. In addition to being the best, most caring, competent doctor and staff, they are now providing free medical care to several cats burned in the Bastrop wildfires. And Dr.

is now President-Elect of the American Association of Feline Practitioners.

I boarded my dog for 4 nights while I went out to visit some relatives in California. I dropped off my dog for a day of 'daycare evaluation' (at no charge) the week before to see if there were any issues with the other dogs, staff or the facilities. At that time I also took a tour of the place which was extremely clean and spacious. There's a large indoor play area (important in this current heat wave) as well as an outdoor area and an online webcam which enables me to see what's occurring from just about anywhere I can get web access. The friendly staff is extremely professional and you can easily see that they genuinely care for the animals. Bath and nail trimming are available options that I didn't use. They had a coupon for two free nights of boarding for a first time customer so 4 nights was the cost of two ($33 a night for a total of $66 on the way out). All in all a great resource that I will use again.

I've boarded my two dogs here several times this year. The rates are competitive, but what truly sets them apart is the sincere care and excitement the staff shows for the pets and how much they get to know each one's individual personality, specific needs, etc. Everyone is extremely caring, friendly, and truly seems to love each of their boarders (they call them "campers"). My dogs are wildly enthusiastic every time they go there, which has not always been the case with other boarding facilities in

. Great place to trust your 4-legged children with!

We have been using Dr.
Austin Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
and his wonderful staff for several years. They are extremely caring and to the person, they are extremely knowledgeable, customer-service oriented, and friendly. This comes from hiring good people and also from great training. We love Dr.
Austin Animal Boarders Provider Name Locked
and his staff and our dogs love being there. One thing we love is that when we board there, our dogs are put in the play area all day if the weather permits. No being caged up all day. Overall, this is a great place.

They run $28 a night. I think it worked really well. They were honest with me about her behavior. They genuinely care for the animals. She has her own diet. I took it along with her. They complied with everything. Their price is reasonable. It's really hard to say anything about the price, but I think they are in line with other boarding places. There are a lot fancier places out there. I don't think you can use them while you are away. The size of the kennels was great. They could probably have a little more outside time. I will use them again in the future.

I used them until 6 months ago. It is an excellent place and I would give high ratings on everything, but they are very pricey. I have two dogs now and I needed something a little bit more reasonable.
