Over the last few years, we have had serious, long-term ongoing problems maintaining an adequate
internet connection and connection speeds with /> We have placed numerous calls to
technicians visit our property. Each of these visits have required my us to take time off of work. Two of these visits were required due to mistakes made by technicians. We were assured by the last technician that our service would be functioning normally; however, this has not happened.

my space increased. I was then told I could not post pictures or just about
anything else but links to other sites. I asked to cancel my account after only
having it for 2 days. Their tech guy was a real jerk. It took them three weeks And
several emails and phone calls to credit my account back after their “fees” were taken out.
I then tried to move my two domains back to the original registrar of GoDaddy.
actively blocked the transfer back to the original registrar and gave me the
reason of it was less than the 60 days ICANN would allow. Per ICANN rules I’m allowed
to move the domains back to the original registrar before the 60 days. I emailed
them back saying that over a week ago and no reply. I filed a written complaint
with ICANN and am waiting the 5 days
purposely delaying the transfer of my domains away from their bad service. I
have to send emails to the same tech that is causing all of the problems just
to make a DNS change as I have lost control over my sites. I would tell
everyone I know to avoid using
worst registrar / web hosting company I have ever dealt with. I’m the director
of IT at a major medical practice. My sites are for posting pictures of my
family and vacations along with the tools I use for work. I have paid for my two domains up front, one for 2 years
and the other for one. I have no access to my domains and their tech guy is actively
blocking the transfer to my original registrar.
I was with GoDaddy for years with no complaints. I was
looking to save some money but ended up in a nightmare. GoDaddy never once said
anything about what I had on my site the entire time it was on their servers. I
have reposted my site back to GoDaddy and they still have not complained about
anything on my site.
I would tell everyone to avoid doing any business with
The unfortunate part is that
TWC is a behemoth that cares not about individual residential consumers. They have a monopoly in many areas (unless you want to purchase your internet, TV and phone separately) on bundled service. They offer no genuine concern for restoring faulty service and/or equipment, and offer nothing but off-the-shelf solutions (reboot the modem and/or cable box. didn't work? repeat. repeat again).

The guy came out that morning and did what he was supposed to do. They were very, very good about addressing my concerns. I was overall satified with the outcome."
